Great diary free vegan milkshakes. All the Gluten free breads is vegan. The food was delicious and the staff very accomidating to my food allergies. Only diner I've ever had a fulfilling meal at with my allergies
Maybe it was an off night for them but I'm not sure.
Made a reservation online for our anniversary dinner, with a comment that will need a gluten-free menus. When we got there, we couldn't hear the hostess over the music, and when we did hear her she confirmed if we needed gluten-free menus and we said yes.
When we got seated at our table, we were provided with regular menus. When our waitress finally showed up about 10 minutes later, we had to ask for the specific gluten-free menus.
Waitress was courteous but didn't see them often, only about 4 or 5 times over an hour and a half-ish we were there. We also had to specifically ask for more water. The food was fantastic. We got the GF Crispy Brussels Sprouts, which we both highly recommend getting, the GF Gnocchi Carbonara and the GF Red Wine Braised Short Ribs. Both of which were perfectly cooked.
But once again the service, from even the start, was a big let down.
The staff is EXCEPTIONAL AND SO VERY HELPFUL. The food is well prepared, delicious and plentiful. Some favorites are the wild mushroom appetizer and the amazing array of fish entrees and pastas. They also serve gluten free options. Try the chicken pesto pizza!
A smaller menu for gluten-free options, but their chef can accommodate most brunch meals to work with you.
We both ordered the shrimp and grits. This is not a traditional Southern dish but more of a creole-style meal. It is very liquidy, with unusual spicing, plenty of shrimp, a fair portion of chorizo, and a handful of veggies to make you mentally feel better about your choice.
Skip on the Irish Coffee, it is ok but not worth the price.
Other dishes at the table that looked good were the omelets and steak and eggs platter. Ordering the medium rare steak came out medium well, again with an odd flavor but a good portion of potatoes.
The Sunday Brunch show was too loud for our group to enjoy our time together, and we were seated in the main room, not the entertainment room.
I am a repeat customer at the Rockville location because the service is outstanding and the food is delicious! The staff has practically memorized my dietary preferences. I love the variety on the menu - you can get a tricolor quinoa bowl and an arepa with chicken and avocado in the same place! There are also several gluten-friendly options on the menu. When I am on the go, I know that I can find something delicious and healthy there.
Stopped here for lunch while running errands and it was delicious! They also have a list of their allergen information on their website, so I was able to get a great gluten-free lunch🤗 Would highly rec come down!
Always EXCELLENT food and service! We have been dining at this location for more than 20 years. We recently discovered a that 2 of us have gluten allergy. They custom designed our favorite noodle soup with rice noodles and gluten free soy sauce in the broth. Flora and the team were knowledgable and helpful going above and beyond to ensure my 11 year old son enjoyed his gluten free noodle soup. My son gave everything "a 10 out of 10"! The adults in our party loved our meals and the great service too!
Match box is a great place to eat the pizza is always tasty and I've heard the pasta is too. My only issue is I have celiac and whenever I eat the gluten-free food I always have problems afterwards possibly from cross contamination! Hope they can fix that because I would love to come often!!
We all had pasta dishes and they were big portions and delicious. A little pricey but for how much leftover we had, it was worth it. My kids loved the spaghetti and meatballs. Gluten free pasta options. Great service by Nick. Definitely recommend. Only downside was the food took a while to come out. But worth the wait
Just had a great happy hour meal at Kabuto! Our server, Melissa, was very friendly and personable. The happy hour menu (drinks AND food) was surprisingly extensive and surprisingly affordable! Our bill for the four rolls of sushi in our photo plus four cocktails ONLY came out to a little over $60, and, atop that, Melissa threw in a piece of tempura cheesecake on the house!
The sushi was very tasty, and it came out surprisingly quickly. We ordered Mai Tais and Mojitos. All were good! The ambiance is nice. It also looks like they either partially or fully validate your parking if you decide to drive here and pay, but there are Metrorail and Metrobus stops either a 7-minute or 1-minute walk, respectively. If you have dietary restrictions they do mark on the menu which items may or may not contain gluten and which items are vegetarian-friendly.
After spending over $40 at Roti in DC for barely filling Chipotle-like lunches today and over $200 in Baltimore's Inner Harbor yesterday on less food/beverages this was the highlight of the food so far on our vacation! We are staying kitty-cornered to Kabuto at the Cambria Suites and will be back tomorrow for dinner again! It is nice to find a place in the DC/Baltimore area that doesn't price-gouge!
I ordered a gluten free 3 topping pizza 🍕 first time here, I think I asked the price on phone and was told $17.99 which is what I saw on the menu but I got there and was told it was $22 something, but I think that may of been with the added toppings? It was no big deal really I just only brought so much cash with me in, but the man at the counter was super nice and offered me a discount for the confusion, I really appreciated that! But would have ram tot my car to get more money, I really wasn’t try to pull a fast one or anything. Thanks 😊
Clyde's no matter which location is always a great choice whether it seafood or steak, even for vegetarian and gluten free pallets it's flavorful and delicious. I had the Corn-Pesto Orecchiette and the Pappardelle Pasta & Chicken to go ... after a long day at the Montgomery Fair it was a perfect way to cap the night off.
