A seafood spot with an old-fashioned shipyard vibe, big portions, unforgettable menu, and amiable vibe; someone even sings in the kitchen!

If you’re looking for the real deal ye olde shipyard cape cod seafood spot, with impeccable food and big portions and plenty of gluten free options(!) and friendly helpful staff, this is your place. It’s unpretentious with exposed brick and old wooden beams and it’s actually been around forever, for sure longer than anything else on Main Street, which gives it a certain ye old shipyard je ne said quoi. In particular, it must be said that the swordfish special with coconut saffron sauce perfectly grilled asparagus, mind-expanding potatoes, and some kind of apple slaw, was simply stunning and delicious. The menu is the perfect mix of creative new American specials, plenty of great seafood, and classics like crab cakes and fish and chips. The staff was all very genuine and cheerful and had a lovely vibe of togetherness between them, and I even distantly heard someone singing in the kitchen which is a huge win. If someone sings to / near your food it increases the health benefits for sure. This is my new favorite restaurant in Falmouth and I will be back for some delightful gluten free breaded items which is just very touching and nostalgic for me since I can never eat these things without significant gastrointestinal distress. So really it’s opening up a whole new world of salmon burgers to me that was previously inaccessible, and I am grateful. Ten out of ten. Keep doing what you’re doing.

Amazing fresh food very friendly staff would 100% recommend with a lot of diversity on the menu . My group of people all have very different dietary restrictions - gluten allergy , vegan, gastric sleeve, fruit and shell fish allergy and they were extremely accommodating

Cheery decor and cheery personnel. The menu has something for everybody, including gluten free selections. Mostly nicely presented, generous portions of authentic Mexican food, but enough variety to accommodate hardcore gringos. My server, Juan, was exceptionally accommodating and simpatico. I'll be back.

I have been coming to Liam Maguires for 20 years on vacation and this by far was the BEST experience I ever had. The food was excellent and it was gluten free. They also had 2 gluten free beer choices. They had a 12 piece jazz band, the Stage Door Canteen, that was excellent and the service was top notch. I can't think of anything negative. I am looking forward to next year! I was sad to learn that Liam died this year but his sons are doing a great job keeping his legacy alive.

We had someone with a gluten allergy and wanted to order food for take out. We spoke with the hostess who was very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful! They made our gluten free enchiladas and we were able to pick them up very quickly. They have other options for gluten free food too.

We stopped in for a late lunch after biking on a nearby trail and were able to get seated right away at a nice shaded table overlooking the water. The service was prompt and friendly. My wife is gluten sensitive so we were happy to see plenty of gluten free options on the menu. My son, daughter and I all had the regular lobster roll while my wife had the gluten free lobster roll. It was one of the best lobster roll that I've ever had. Very fresh delicious lobster on a tasty buttered and toasted roll. My wife commented that the gluten free roll was just as good as a regular roll. I also had a cup of chowder which was also excellent. I highly recommend the Flying Bridge Restaurant.
