I ate here today, the food was really good and the service was even better out server was very helpful with our gluten free needs and answering all our questions.
THE BEST GLUTEN FREE BURGER I'VE EVER HAD!!!!!!
SOOOOOO many options and the truffle fries are SOOOOOO good!!!!!
The first time we went we had a cranky girl server who seemed new but was not- she kept forgetting everything and didn't come back like she should HAVE- second time we had a guy wish I could remember their names, but he was AWESOME!!! Those stars on service are for him!!!!!
Everything I've had is just good. Yum!!!!!
Will always choose them for my burgers if I want a sit down!!
As someone who is a regular at this place, I can honestly say that it’s very good and worth the try. Each and every single one of their burgers have plenty of options to choose from with allergy conscious items as well (Gluten Free Buns, etc)
The Classic is always a great option but one I was surprised by is their Buffalo Burger. Never been a buffalo fan by any means but this particular burger really ran together with such great flavor that I couldn’t help but like it. The Sticky Finger is also very good!
With other options as well, along with amazing service, I can safely say it’s a safe and good option if you’re a sucker for burger places with plenty of other options as well.
The food is super good! Everything tastes great. It's gluten free friendly, with no extra charges for gluten free substitutions. The atmosphere is great, they play good music too. The staff is super good and friendly
Pizza shop is probably the best pizza in Norman in the under $20 pizza category. The toppings, sauce, and pizza are excellent. My wife also appreciates the gluten-free pizza crust, which is quite good. The service is generally good. We have had some occasional mixups on toppings and even missing the gluten free crust, so hopefully the order accuracy can improve.
Soo good! This is going to be my go-to pizza place for gluten-free pizza! I got a gluten-free & dairy-free pizza crust (comes in large!) that tasted like a traditional old school pepperoni pizza!
I'm also dairy intolerant (full dairy not just lactose intolerant lol), and the cheese on the pizza must be healthier because it didn't bother me like regular cheese pizzas do. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good gluten-free pizza and even non-gluten pizzas!
My husband got the stuffed crust cheese pizza with no sauce, and absolutely loved it! This is an awesome place and it's even more awesome that they are on the more affordable side too! 🍕
I had breakfast here on a Saturday with two other acquaintances. I do what I can to minimize the gluten in my diet, but apparently management makes a big deal out of substituting hash browns to avoid foods containing gluten.
This was our first time of eating at Charlestons, we visited the one in Norman. I had the bacon hickory burger and fries, this was amazing. My husband had gluten chicken piccata and cole slaw, I am picky on my coleslaw and I have to say it tasted great as well.the Hickory Sauce was the best, the price for the food was reasonable, the service was great. I do recommend paying them a visit if you are in the area, and yes they do have a gluten free menu, if you need it.
Got the gluten free cranberry pizza. It was amazing. Service was amazing too. They treated us so good! Showed care and consideration. Definitely a great dinning experience. We’ll be back again! Thank you.
This place was awesome! We ordered the meatball appetizer, a gluten free veggie pizza and a white chicken pie pizza and all of it was really delicious! But the holiday drinks were next level! We had the gingerbread White Russian, the White Christmas and the hot cocoa and they were artistic and super delicious! Brandy was our server and bartender and she was excellent!
-Amazing Service
-Inviting and cozy atmosphere
-Good Sized Portions
-Amazing Sides
-Thorough understanding of Gluten Free options
A lovely taste and feel of their culture, the best thai restaurant in Norman and the surrounding areas.
I had a burger with a gluten free bun. It's was SO GOOD! I wish they had a fries🍟 only fryer so I could have had fries too, but the burger was a treat!
Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten! I really enjoyed Nick’s pizza and Helen’s ravioli bake. The gluten free crust is easily the best anywhere. Bay was an exceptional waitress - very bubbly and fun. We really enjoyed her!
These tacos were probably the best tacos I have had in a minute. They have all sorts of tacos from meaty to veggie with gluten free options as well. Will most certainly come back for another helping. Also their falafel taco definitely is fire.
Hideaway is some of the best pizza in Oklahoma in my opinion. The staff is always attentive and helpful.
If you're gluten free get the cauliflower crust, it is delicious.
We LOVE Torchy's - and they totally 'get' gluten free (an allergy). The food, atmosphere, and service are always great. It's all even better, though, when we get to actually watch OU beat Texas while we are here 😂
Volare has a lot of potential, it really does. The atmosphere was great on a weekday night, everyone on staff was very friendly and the menu looked good with some "gluten friendly" and vegetarian options as well. I could see this being a great place for an intimate date on a weeknight or a fun experience on a game day, but, unfortunately, I found the food and drinks really underwhelming. We started with a drink and the Crack Fries, without parmesan to keep them vegan. The fries were good, except they were very thinly sliced and about halfway down the basket, we were just left with hard pieces and crumbs.
I had a mojito and it was refreshing, but it felt like it was non-alcoholic. I had another cocktail and it was the same way, very, very light. On to the pizza. I ordered the vegan arugula pizza because, well, it was the only vegan option. Based on the description, it could have been great. When the pizza came out, it looked like a pizza crust with a ton of arugula thrown on top and a random shake or two of nutritional yeast. When you picked up a slice, the toppings just slid off the pizza. I struggled to take a bite, as everything fell off the slice. There wasn't much sauce, there was no cheese and the few toppings that were hidden under the arugula were sparse. We're talking like one strip of eggplant, a couple of small mushrooms and yeah. Vegan doesn't have to be boring and I just didn't quite know what they tried to do with this pizza. The dough was good, but it was put together very poorly. I do want to reiterate, the atmosphere here was great. Our waitress was very friendly. I just can't see myself coming back since they only have one vegan pizza option that was very underwhelming and the alcoholic drinks were far too light for my liking.
Excellent menu with plenty of options for all, including gluten free and vegetarian. I got the Inkfire Ramen and Dan Tan Noodles. Also, order the edamame with garlic!
I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Pub W in Norman, Oklahoma, and I feel compelled to share my frustration. I have Celiac disease and Crohn's, so I take my dietary restrictions very seriously. When I ordered the filet with balsamic brussel sprouts as a side at Pub W, the staff assured me that it was gluten-free and safe for me to eat, even going so far as to mention they have a separate fryer specifically for the brussel sprouts. However, to my horror, they did not clean out the fryer basket, and battered and fried onions were mixed in with the brussel sprouts. This is something I specifically cannot have due to my condition, and it was a major oversight on their part.
I immediately informed the bartender, and she sent over a manager who filled out an incident report, apologized, and seemed genuinely concerned.
As a result, I spent the next two days in severe discomfort, having to take time off work to recover. This could have been avoided had they been more diligent with their food preparation. When I called the following day to speak with a manager, I was told the General Manager would reach out to me, but unfortunately, no one ever did. The only actions taken were filing the incident report and comping my meal. However, I never received an apology or any follow-up.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of communication and follow-through is inexcusable. Had I eaten any more (I only had one bite of the onion), I could have ended up in the hospital. It's not just about the physical toll this caused me, but the total disregard for my health and safety as a customer. Given this experience, I believe they should remove all "Gluten-Free" indicators from their menu if they can't properly accommodate guests with dietary restrictions.
This Taco Casa is awesome! I have a gluten allergy and have started getting the super nachos, without the dairy and jalapeno. They were really nice here and made my meal look great!
