The food and service was great. The shrimp tartar was a highlight of our trip to Ischia, as it balanced the delicate flavor of the native red shrimp with light citrus and seasoning. They also had gluten free pasta for my partner, so we had linguini with clams. They had local Ischia rabbit wrapped around some greens which was hearty and delicious. A good wine suggestion and dessert rounded out the meal. The price was pretty reasonable especially considering the quality.
Started with a few huge raw red shrimp, my first time having them like that and we're very good. Then we had a gluten free risotto and nice gluten free bread. Followed that with a filet of local white fish and grilled vegetables. And finally we were feeling a little more hungry than normal and had the local tuna salad. Everything was great, our waiter was very nice, and the music was oddly good.
They also had the best lemocello we tried on the island, less like a sweet syrup and more like a complex liqueur than most others.
