An absolute gem of a place. Greeted by friendly helpful staff. Our gluten free and vegan needs were easily catered for. Everything was delicious and generously portioned. Dog friendly. And the absolute icing in the cake were the huge windows onto stunning views of the beaches and bay in all directions making it so bright
and light. Just such a lovely atmosphere. I thoroughly recommend it and look forward to being there again one day.
Awful food provided following my mums funeral looked like they had been to Costco and just tipped it on a plate was certainly not worth 12:50 per head. We were not told food was there coffee and tea was cold Didn't provide the chips we requested overall awful !!! The gluten free option left a lot to be desired

Excellent meal, good gluten free options, but a bit pricey. Didn't like the automatic addition of gratuity. Only spotted this when looking at the bill when I got home. Felt a bit cheated.
Great food. I had the pan fried Hake, perfectly cooked and with some great accompanying flavours. Would also of loved to try the Lamb Kleftico, a favourite of mine from a holiday long ago on a greek island. Monkfish Risotto sounds fantastic too! Vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options clearly marked on the menu too - thankyou! Kids menu has lots of choice too, not the usual limited basic meals. Desserts excellent and were superbly presented too.
Firstly we had ordered the festive menu online and they didn't have all our orders down. The man had an awful attitude. I am not sure if he was the manager. They had no clue about allergies. They kept saying the custard was not gluten free because it was dairy, which is completely irrelevant. The turkey dinner was awful. The turkey was processed not proper turkey and the rest of the meal was brought in, nothing fresh.
I have already posted this once. The Catherine's inn asked me to email them. I have done this twice with no response, awful.
After a phone call we booked hear feeling confident I could eat here as a coeliac. They don't have allergens on the menu but all staff were knowledgeable and double checked I was not sharing starters with others that had gluten in their dishes . The food was delicious and they offered to adapt any dish I wanted to make it free from gluten . The only thing they could not offer was bread as it would have been baked in their pizza oven .
Another great experience at Miller and Carter which is now definitely one of our favourites with great options for gluten free. The service once again Brilliant from Belinda, will definitely be back :)
The Beefeater is a wonderful place for an evening family meal. Seven of us attended a meal from 5:00pm until roughly 7:30pm and all had a wonderful time.
I ordered the Chargrilled chicken with cheese and bacon with no sauce, salad garnish, or coleslaw. The staff accommodated and my plate arrived with no signs of them.
The chicken was delicious and far from dry (which I worried it might've been without sauce). The bacon and chicken flavours were well-balanced and the skin-on chips were delicious.
The staff offer to bring sauces to the table such as ketchup (that came in small dipping dishes) or brown sauce (a bottle was brought to our table) and salt and pepper shakers are readily available.
A member of my family ordered the same dish as me and enjoyed the coleslaw and salad garnish. The portion sizes were very nice and the staff kept an eye on our table to judge when to come back and clear plates, etc.
For dessert, I highly recommend the millionaire's brownie sundae. Three of us (13, 19, and 50+) ordered this dessert and it did not disappoint. The black forest gateau was a square, three-tiered slice that looked mouth-watering and was reportedly good. As were the mango fruit sundae, the crumble, and the sticky toffee pudding.
We were given ample time to catch up as family and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Beefeater.
We didn't feel rushed and there was no semblance of negativity at all. It was brilliant.
The only warning I would give is their coupons/vouchers! Please double check that your discount voucher is DEFINITELY for Beefeater prior to dining. Or have the website link ready to show staff. We used one of the free first-sign-up vouchers but had a wrong one at first. It's just worth double checking.
At the door, the staff ask for any allergies they need to be wary of and were all overall very polite, friendly, and welcoming.
There are gluten-free menu options and vegetarian menu options.
The toilets are on your left as you walk into the establishment and the female toilets had an accessible stall available.
The parking is self-validated by a touch-screen also just inside the establishment, to the right. As signs outside indicate, parking is free for validated customers for up to 3 hours.
