Nice update! They added some extra gluten free and vegan options since the last time I was here. It was my first time here for brunch so I tried and loved the breakfast tacos(not vegan). Psyched to come back and try some of the new stuff 😋
Milie’s Cafe has so many options, from vegan to regular and gluten-free! I ordered the Devil’s Mess and it was packed with bold, delicious flavors. My hubby got The Usual with gluten-free pancakes and they were 🔥. We also loved their fresh, homemade orange juice, and the Blue Majik latte was a refreshing and tasty surprise. Highly recommend for a flavorful and inclusive brunch spot!
The food is great, the people are nice, and I’m definitely coming back! I’m gluten intolerant, so I’m stoked to find a place with quite a few delicious options for me!
The food and the overall restaurant is 5 Stars! I think we would have enjoyed ALOT more if we weren't in the middle of a heat wave here in LA because the seating is all outside and it got hot really quickly..but any other time this would be a great option for lunch! We came for brunch and the breakfast options DID NOT disappoint! I got the spinach and feta omelet, and it was so good! Everything is pretty much priced close to $20 a plate, but the food is worth it, and the portions are generous. I saw a lot of people getting the breakfast burrito, so it must be one of the more popular menu items. There's alot of parking behind the building. Also many gluten free options.
Giving my Review to a really, cozy and nice place. Sage Plant Based Bistro & Brewery Pasadena. 41 Hugus Aly, Pasadena, CA 91103.
Food. I love food as I enjoy eating. And I appreciate it when someone makes food for me.
There are different situations when you may feel thankful for the food and want to express gratitude.
Dear Chef, I want to thank you for the beautiful, healthy, gourmet meal that was provided to me and my family last week. We greatly appreciate your efforts and kindness. It has been so helpful and has meant so much to our entire family. All the best and Blessings to all*+**
This plate or meal it's not in the menu.
Portobello Mushrooms.
Garlic butter, Parsley, cherry tomatoes, arugula, baked potato, balsamic reduction, asparagus, mushrooms, fyh cheese, gluten free. 💯💕👍
Had lunch here for the first time. I like the variety of veggie options, gluten free friendly selections, and customer service. Food arrived promptly. Ashley was friendly and helpful to us. 5 star for service, 3 for food because the food seems too heavy for the healthy options, way too much sauce and dressing for my preference compared to True Food Kitchen.
Incredibly good pesto breadsticks, I was tasting the garlic four hours afterwards! Love garlic to keep my immune system up in the winter, it’s been super cold and rainy this year, which I was not expecting, having moved to Southern California just a few years back. My daughter usually hates garlic or onions, but she absolutely loves the stuff too, as well as the gluten-free pizza. It was a little bit on the chewy side, I think they just use white rice flour, but it was possible for a gluten-free offering. taste is on point however, across-the-board. Much higher quality than I was expecting for the price! We will be back.
Best Vegan food in Pasadena!!! This place is so lovely and and the staff is so kind. They even hosted our rehearsal dinner some months back and I could not be happier with how everything turned out! They go above and beyond for their customers🙏✨ I love the lemonade, the caesar salad, really everything top to bottom. The desserts are SO awesome too and are *all* gluten free! The food is always fresh and appetizing. (Never too greasy like some vegan places!) You can come here time and again and know you are going to be satisfied. Highly recommend 💫🙌
Love this location! They have so many incredible gluten free options and they are celiac safe! Nick was our waiter and was extremely knowledgeable about cross contamination and made sure my food was safe. So grateful! 10/10 recommend!!!
Great vegan options that are clearly marked! They are also very aware of allergies such as gluten free. I got the peanut butter ice cream 50/50 with a scoop of cake batter cookie dough. Very yummy! Cute shop with bright sunlight and a nice outdoor patio.

The best gluten free ramen I’ve ever had. Staff was super helpful and patient helping me order gluten free/nightshade free. Got the basic house ramen and garlic oil and lots of green onions. Love the rice ramen noodles!
The Burgers are the best around, you also are the only place with a good gluten free bun, and finally you staff at this location is top notch. Very helpful and friendly.
Blaze Pizza is hands down my favorite spot for a quick, delicious, and totally customizable pizza experience! I absolutely love their gluten-free crust options—it’s rare to find a crust that’s both crispy and flavorful, but Blaze nails it every time, especially when I order it extra crispy. It holds up perfectly, no matter how many toppings I pile on. I also appreciate their lower-lactose cheese choices like parmesan, feta, and goat cheese, which let me enjoy a cheesy, satisfying pizza without any regret. Every visit, my pizza comes out exactly how I want it—crispy, loaded with fresh toppings, and bursting with flavor. Blaze Pizza never disappoints!
It is rare to find a place that is as beautiful to the eye, delicious to the taste, and pleasing to the emotions as Sushi Roku. They went above and beyond to make sure all allergen issues were taken care of, and made me feel at home with my gluten free necessity. They have gluten free soy sauce, have made most sauces gluten free to accommodate people like me (warning eel sauce and freshwater eel even without the sauce is not gluten free), and most of the dishes are gluten free as well.
The service was amazing. Gary was our main server, and the manager was absolutely incredible. The server assistants were ON IT and the table's water was never below a quarter. They even managed to grab our leftover truffle oil while my boyfriend, who was counting money for the bill, was supposed to be guarding it to ask for a togo ramikin 😂. My hot green tea was fresh and refilled quickly.
The toro tuna belly was well worth the price, it melted in your mouth. And the sushi combos were amazing. Everyone enjoyed the drinks as well.
Excellent food, service, and variety. Great for celiacs as most items are gluten free. The felafel is amazing and the Lule kebab is so tasty. Babaganouch and hummus were on point. Loved it
For the health-conscious, Star Leaf is a dream come true. Their menu features a variety of gluten-free, vegan, and paleo options that are as tasty as they are nutritious. It’s rare to find a place that makes healthy eating so indulgent.
Wow! Wow! Wow! What an incredible experience. Michelin-trained chef, Dean Yasharian and his team, including Austin really outdid themselves. From the attentive service, the amazing food, to the perfect wine pairings, I am so impressed by our experience. I couldn't believe they were able to accommodate my dietary restorations: gluten free and dairy free! All without skimping on flavor. I had an incredible dairy-free lobster bisque for the first time in years! “A Taste of Perle” menu was amazing!!!!
Was so excited to discover their brunch menu! I have a gluten allergy and called to find out if they had options. They had sooo many gluten-free options! Many items were GF that were unexpected. Like the friend shrimp (cornstarch)!! My friend and I ordered so much food as it was such a treat to have things that aren’t always GF. Everything was delicious and so were the cocktails. Servers were amazing and knowledgeable about gluten allergies! Thank you!!
Let's just say I did the yummy dance. The fried tofu took me away. The dipping sauce was sensational with every bite. And my gluten free rice noodle soup with wild mushrooms. Unbelievably good. Broth, broth, broth. So aromatic.
Excellent service by staff . Unfortunately tonight it was a bit sad. I Went tonight for a dinner. 3rd time coming here for rep dinners. I have a gluten allergy and was not served any appetizer and was not offered anything while I waited for the salad. I'm aware there are set courses but other restaurants kindly make gluten alternative appetizers. Instead of starving guests until the salad and entree are ready. I ordered a cranberry juice and was served 95% water and 5% juice. Tasted like someone's leftover water. Quite gross but decided to just skip and have a cup of tea they of course have no honey. I've had a better experience before so I was quite sorry to see the restaurant offerings are not what they used to be.
Great brisket and rib. They don't put sugar in the meat other than in their bbq sauce. The nachos and taco soft shells are all blue corn and gluten free, and their cocktails are quite spectacular. I saw one of them come in a chest full of mesquite smoke!! Although the sports bar vibe is not to my taste I can count on the food, drinks, and service to be on point. Can't go wrong with this place for the price, As a side note, I thought the tomahawk was one of the only items to be eye watering expensive. Stay away from that and you and your group will have a great time for the price!
Only reason for the 4 stars is because $23 for a gluten free breakfast burrito is really not worth it..I've been wanting to try forever, and decided today's the day. Now don't get me wrong , the taste is immaculate, and to be able to go somewhere and get a gluten free burrito is amazing. Maybe for the price if it were bigger maybe would be ok .The burrito is tiny , and I don't even eat alot
A little expensive but the food is healthy and delicious. No problem eating here gluten free (Celiac disease). I like that the menu changes periodically
An absolute gem, especially since being diagnosed celiac. Gluten free high tea menu. Our latest server person was so sweet, soft spoken and informative. Never forgot I couldn't eat gluten and always made sure I knew what I was specifically served was my gluten free meal, not anyone elses in my party. Maybe the waitress specifically, maybe the training at Madeline's? It's reassuring.
This place gives the vibes of that Italian place you went to as a kid in your hometown.
It is cute, the service is friendly, and the portions are rather sizable.
It’s good, just not great. The Caesar has major mayo flavors going on, everything needs a bit more salt, and they clearly use cream in their carbonara. And onions? Which is kind of random, as cream nor onions belong in a carbonara.
I will say that they have gluten free pasta and pizza options, so that is a plus!
A neat little coffee shop. Some may consider it a bit 'hipster' for their focus on the current health fads (gluten free, soy, vegan options). The place was full at 10am,almost overcrowded. There is however, a generous amount of seating for the size of the joint. All drink and food prices were a bit steep, but quality matched the price. My only complaint is that the floor was rather dirty for a coffee joint... They did have simple concrete flooring so it wasn't a big deal, it just seemed odd that there was so much debris for the style of the joint and food/drink options.
We have been fans of Little Flower for years and couldn’t imagine anyone else doing the desserts and cake for our wedding. We had a dessert bar for our guests and a smaller, two-tier personal cake just for us as the bride and groom. We met with Stephanie at the Little Flower location and got to sample the cookies and other desserts that we wanted. She provided great ideas of a variety of types of desserts (gluten free, chocolate, fruit, etc.) for the dessert bar.
We worked directly with May to create a custom two-tier cake (see photo) with whatever flavor combinations we wanted and she utilized our colors and design to create a beautifully elegant cake. Not only did it look amazing, but tasted fresh and delicious as well as all of our desserts. Their prices were very reasonable for a 100-person wedding and I definitely would recommend using them for any type of event.
