Love, love, love this place and their gluten free pizza crust! I make special trips just for their pizza. So terrific and delicious and positively awesome! My fiance loves the wheat flour crust too.

Himalayan Restaurant is just great. We love real Indian food and the chef serves that. It is just perfect. They only use fresh herbs and spices that are used in traditional Indian food. They even got an award for Best Indian Restaurant of Sonoma County by the Press Democrat. They specialize in kabobs, tandoors and curries. They also have the best soups. Many of their items are vegetarian, vegan or gluten free. I don't care but I know a lot of people do. The place is ever so cute and very clean. You feel at home and that is what they want for you. The service is so very wonderful and they will help you with the menu. We had curry dishes that were out of this world good and two order of garlic nann. I should have taken some with me. The tandoori chicken breast cooked in spices with the best mild creamy sauce was a real favorite. Their organic tofu tikki, which are fried tofu & garbanzo patties crumbed with beaten rice was amazing. I did not expect to like it at all, tofu is just not my favorite thing, but it was so good. We can't wait to get back there.

The gluten free bread is fluffy and flavorful was perfectly lightly toasted. The ham is fresh. Eggs delectable. Potatoes soft yet crisp. heathly leaf spinach, not wilted.

As a fan of real (by which I mean low and slow) barbecue, I'm usually looking for the dumpy, back-of-a-seedy bar kinda joint, but I just happened to find myself in Windsor with a recommendation for Sweet T's. This north of the North Bay spot is anything but a dive and proves, occasionally, even a book that looks like a snooze fest by the cover could end up being a satisfying pulpy romp on the inside. I went straight to the heart of barbecue, ordering up a brisket plate with collards (called "greens" on the menu so as not to offend) and was shocked to find a giant pile of beef, slow cooked for what I would guess is at least 10 hours, that melted in your mouth like butter and laced with bits of caramelized bark. I haven't had a better brisket in California and in case you're worried your Cali friends might not join you for a meat-fest, Sweet T's offers plentiful salads along with fried okra and brussel sprouts. The best part is the meat is grass-fed, the chicken is organic, and if you are gluten-free, like this "don't come at me with those biscuits" cowboy, you can eat nearly everything on the menu, including the slightly sweet, and peppery barbecue sauce. The only reason I took a 🌟 off my review is Sweet T's makes you pay for your meaty sins and if you aren't careful and imbibe too much from their extensive wine and locally brewed beer menu, you might end up paying almost $20 for a hamburger.
