THE BEST GLUTEN FREE GARLIC NAAN OF ALL THE LAND!!! Oh my…this place is a GODSEND for us gluten intolerant people! (Celiac here) Finally able to have garlic naan after so many years. It was glorious, especially paired with some butter chicken. Not to mention, majority of the menu is GF friendly! The salmon pakora was a nice surprise, super flavorful & interesting texture! The free papadam with the sweet sauce reminded me of fried wonton and sweet/sour sauce, which I also haven’t had in ages. I don’t think I need to tell you this, but do not skip out on the mango lassi!!! Yes it is neon orange but it’s their homemade recipe using Kesar mangoes! It’s got right balance between sweet, tangy, and tart. Perfect pairing to calm the spice ☺️ Everything was absolutely divine and well-priced. We even ordered a GF pesto garlic naan to take home, so worth. Servers were graciously nice and attentive. Ambiance—my only complaint was the front of the restaurant kind of smelled like cat pee 😅 thankfully there is a quaint dining room in the back, tucked away from that/the street! Regardless, I would bring all my friends here. Staff was super friendly and accommodating to the couples and large groups dining in, and the menu is super inclusive. I appreciate establishments like Om Indian and I would definitely travel to eat it. Such a special place to me/us GF eaters!!

Delicious meal at such a fair price! It's hard to eat out and not feel like I'm spending and arm and a leg, or not getting my money's worth. But Udupi was a great value and everything was so tasty!! The vegetable korma was so crunchy! The paratha so flaky and great with the Chana masala and the dipping sauces that came with the dosa! The dosa was so large and yummy! Many gluten free options, and wait staff was very patient with all of our questions.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In all areas I’ve been coming to Amber for over 13 years, and it remains one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the Bay Area. When I lived here, I was a regular, and even now, I make it a point to visit whenever I’m in town. The ambience is inviting, the seating is comfortable, and the service is among the best I’ve experienced at any Indian restaurant. I’ve dined here countless times—whether for their daily buffet or à la carte dinners (at least 50+ times!)—and they have never missed the mark on taste or service. Whether dining solo, with a small group, or with a large party, my experience has always been exceptional. As a vegetarian, I’ve tried nearly everything on their menu over the years, and I’ve never been disappointed. But this time, they surprised me! Since I was dining alone, they introduced me to their Thali menu for dinner, which I didn’t even know existed. It’s a perfect option for solo diners—highly recommended! (See the menu attached.) I ordered the Vegan/Gluten-Free Thali, and every dish was superb. The Kale Kofta Curry could have been better, but overall, the meal was excellent. As always, the service was stellar. Amber SF remains a must-visit for me whenever I’m in the Bay Area. Looking forward to my next visit!

Delicious. One dish was better than the next. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the staff is very nice. They gave us a complementary appetizer, Papadum, chutney, plus dessert. They also have plentiful gluten-free options available, and are very knowledgeable about safety. When we ordered a dish spicy, it actually came with the perfect amount of spice. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

My girlfriend is celiac, as well as allergic to dairy and most meats. The owner came over and went through all of her allergies and guaranteed they would all be covered with no cross contamination in the kitchen. He recommended a few dishes for us and it was truly the best Indian food we've ever had, all with being gluten-free and dairy free. We'd be very regular customers if we weren't just in town visiting.

Amazing food and service. I have celiacs disease and the staff was very knowledgeable about cross contamination (they have a dedicated fryer/oven). They have GF naan and 95% of the menu is gluten free. I felt very safe eating there, even went 2 days in a row. Cannot recommend enough.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! They can make anything but samosas gluten free, and can make most sauces dairy free. I love being able to have naan again! My favorites are lamb boti kebab, tandoori chicken, chicken vindaloo, vegetable pakora, chicken pakora. I've heard their chicken tikka masala is wonderful, but haven't had them make it dairy-free for me yet.

My hubby treated us to a Chicago Deep Dish Pizza.Oh yummy, it is delicious. Not salty, its crust is light as well tasty.The sauce is just right in flavor as well as its temperature gluten-free ohhhyeah.😋 for those that enjoy sausages 😋 😜 need I mention more? Outstanding food, ambiance, and service!!! We are regulars here at Roots after stumbling upon it a few years back. Typically enjoy their butter chicken, cheese dosa, and aloo tikki. Also delicious & very reasonably priced cocktails, around ~$12, highly recommend the Punjabi Mango & Nirvana Sangria. We have had Indian food all over LA and this is our favorite by far! As Punjabi-Americans, Roots has a special place in our heart for the way it blends traditional and creates new fusion flavors. This is the type of place our grandparents & our West LA friends would equally appreciate! Tons of vegan and gluten free options & an allergy marked menu, much appreciated by this Celiac. Our server Noor was very knowledgable & went above and beyond. The host Harshobit was fantastic as well. Top notch experience overall, we’ll be back soon Roots!

On our way to Shelter Cove from the Bay Area, we made a pit stop at an EV charger near Walmart and decided to try Turmeric Cuisine of India. It was already 5 PM, and knowing Shelter Cove would be closing soon, we needed a quick and reliable dinner option. To play it safe, we ordered the classic Chicken Tikka Masala and their Turmeric Special Biryani. I was also delighted to see they offered a gluten-free substitute, so we opted for the GF Pesto Naan – a huge plus! Honestly, I had my doubts initially, but the food was surprisingly excellent! Every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. It was a fantastic and unexpected culinary highlight on our trip. Highly recommend!

Arti’s is great Indian food, we took a quick trip to Goa Friday night in Lagunitas! The samosa was a delicious start, I tried some dishes I always get like Saag Aloo, I mashed the potatoes, eating each smooth bite of creamy richness (vegan). Arti reminded me to get the gluten free naan as that is vegan. Ok, we all know gluten free bread is not as good as regular gluten, and, I appreciate having vegan options! The goa vegetable curry was easy to eat, mixed with some rice and delivered via naan. My favorites are the Chana Masala and Bagan Barta (spelling? delicious eggplant dish) I saved most of both for lunch, knowing the would hold overnight well. The ambiance is comfortable, a mix of neighbors and the random group coming back from Samuel P Taylor or Weat Marin. Think Global, Eat Local, you will enjoy the food and feeling of arti’s!

We were very happy with the food, service and welcoming atmosphere. Our server Chahat was accommodating, flexible, kind and quick! Their prices are very reasonable and there are plenty of vegan and gluten free options. We were there for a birthday party and everyone had a great time. Thank you Electric Karma - we'll be back.

Himalayan Restaurant is just great. We love real Indian food and the chef serves that. It is just perfect. They only use fresh herbs and spices that are used in traditional Indian food. They even got an award for Best Indian Restaurant of Sonoma County by the Press Democrat. They specialize in kabobs, tandoors and curries. They also have the best soups. Many of their items are vegetarian, vegan or gluten free. I don't care but I know a lot of people do. The place is ever so cute and very clean. You feel at home and that is what they want for you. The service is so very wonderful and they will help you with the menu. We had curry dishes that were out of this world good and two order of garlic nann. I should have taken some with me. The tandoori chicken breast cooked in spices with the best mild creamy sauce was a real favorite. Their organic tofu tikki, which are fried tofu & garbanzo patties crumbed with beaten rice was amazing. I did not expect to like it at all, tofu is just not my favorite thing, but it was so good. We can't wait to get back there.

Had lunch with family on mother' day today. Not as crowded as dinnertime as there are only two other parties seated. Waitstaff is friendly and attentive to review our items before placing the order. Visible curry stains on the white tablecloth. Would recommend the owner to use disposable tablecloths as curry stains are difficult to remove. Complimentary papadum with 3 dipping sauces: wow. Just wow. so thin and light and crispy. Good enough without dipping any sauces. Vegetable samosa: the best I have ever had, not greasy. Crisp puffy shell encasing fluffy potato fillings. Butter chicken masala: super tender, fragrant, creamy but a bit sweet. Gluten free garlic naan: baked to perfection, dunk it in the butter chicken sauce. Mango chutney: so good we had to take the left-over home. Complimentary gulab jamun for dessert: first time tasting Indian fried donut hole soaked in rose flavored syrup. Mango lassi and housemade lemonade chai tea: refreshing and not too sweet.

Very nice Indian restaurant in great location in downtown Burbank. Wonderful service (Francis is great!). Comfy booths and tables. Nice atmosphere. They have delicious food. Something for everyone including well marked vegan, vegetarian and gluten free items.

Delicious food. Their vindaloo curry is amazing. Considering any of their flavorful dish near the beach is such a delight. Their chutneys were also unique. I would say this is a very nice restaurant. Their environment is cozy and peaceful. Their quality is what you would expect to be (amazing). I like how they provide gluten free options and vegan options. I would definitely visit this place again because my tastebuds enjoyed it.

What really impressed me was their handling of dietary restrictions! They accommodated gluten-free, vegan and nut allergies without compromising on taste. The vegan curry options were just as delicious as the meat dishes. Portions were generous and everything was incredibly fresh.

Wow. Tari was so helpful and accommodating. He went above and beyond expectations for service. There were gluten-free and vegan options, and they were delicious. I ordered the small gluten-free crust, which was crispy and delicious. Tari wanted me to taste the difference between the small and medium, so he made another entire pizza and sent me home with half. The medium GF crust had a great cauliflower flavor, but the small was a better texture. My daughter ordered the pan buffalo chicken pizza, and she said it was one of the best buffalo chicken pies she's ever had! We'll worth the stop to support a local, small business.

I used to really love this place. I have celiac disease, and almost all of their items are gluten free. They’ve always been pretty willing to accommodate me, and I considered this one of my staple spots. Unfortunately, after many times eating there successfully, I was glutened and got super sick. When I tried to discuss this with them, they showed very little compassion and basically hung up on me. So disappointing.

Came here for a second time tonight (last time was about a month ago for my first visit) and this is hands down the best Indian & Nepalese food I've ever eaten. There is so much flavor in this food it's mind-blowing. Last time I went with mild for the spice, this time with medium and both were delicious. My favorite is the Nepali Chicken Curry. Also have had the plain naan, garlic naan, aloo naan, the rice, the homemade pistachio ice cream and the homemade coconut ice cream. All of it so good. Tonight we brought my parents and the server was very helpful in confirming which additional items were safe for my mom to eat because she can't have gluten (almost all of the main dishes are gluten free, but he helped her find an alternative to naan that was safe and to confirm additional sides were safe as well). The entire staff is friendly, the place is really clinic inside, and the food is killer.

I absolutely loved my experience at Yarsa Nepalese Cuisine. The flavors felt authentic and fresh, especially the Kathmandu chicken and lentil soup. They have a great variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options, which made it easy to find something for everyone in our group. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy without being pretentious. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

We ordered the vegetable curry,. which was delicious! Because we couldn't have most of the appetizers because of cross contamination of gluten, I asked about the lamb samosas. The waiter was very thoughtful and suggested we get just the filling cooked in a pan without the wrapper that's always fried in the same oil as other breaded food. That's what they did for us, and it was still very tasty. He also brought some yogurt for us in case it was too hot! I also had a mango Lassi which was the best tasting one I've ever had . The owner was very knowledgeable about what we could and couldn't eat safety..

Yummy Indian restaurant with nice ambience. The menu has lots of yummy options including vegan and gluten free. Service is limited. The staff is friendly and will allow you to sit wherever you like. Only indoor seating is available. At every table there's a QR code that's used to see the menu as well as pay. Food is freshly prepared and came out quick. Lots of free self parking.

I had the Tandori chicken, gluten free crust with vegan cheese pizza, it was amazing. I will definitely be back. The crust was so good and crunchy and the Indian style pizza was a nice treat. My office had a 12-person luncheon catered by Gogi's Cafe and we really enjoyed it. I asked everything to be labeled, and they kindly accommodated. There's something on the menu for everyone, from vegan to celiac and meat eaters too. All gave two thumbs up. Co-owner Vinay gave excellent service and took our order through email. We'll definitely consider them again for future office luncheons. Delicious and convenient. Thank you!
