Outstanding food, ambiance, and service!!! We are regulars here at Roots after stumbling upon it a few years back. Typically enjoy their butter chicken, cheese dosa, and aloo tikki. Also delicious & very reasonably priced cocktails, around ~$12, highly recommend the Punjabi Mango & Nirvana Sangria. We have had Indian food all over LA and this is our favorite by far! As Punjabi-Americans, Roots has a special place in our heart for the way it blends traditional and creates new fusion flavors. This is the type of place our grandparents & our West LA friends would equally appreciate! Tons of vegan and gluten free options & an allergy marked menu, much appreciated by this Celiac. Our server Noor was very knowledgable & went above and beyond. The host Harshobit was fantastic as well. Top notch experience overall, we’ll be back soon Roots!

Food is excellent, customer service is stellar and made us feel right at home. I have a gluten allergy and there are many options for someone with celiac. Been here a few times always consistently AWESOME, very intimate atmosphere as well!
