Both of us are gluten free and im also dairy free and egg free. Not only were they able to accommodate us, the menus were very clearly labeled and we felt great after eating there. The staff were amazing as well. Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!
The Post in Boulder has the same awesome chicken, which is amazing and gluten free. Wednesdays it also has fried fish!! Delicious. they also were a ticket seller for Phish, so cool.
Love eating at Flower Child. Their gluten free options are endless and delicious. The service is fast and it's easy to get in and out for a work lunch.
i’m celiac and half korean- this place feels like heaven. genuine korean taste all with 90% of the menu being gluten free. May be my new favorite restaurant in all of CO. Delicious.
Hapa Sushi accommodated our large group with large amounts of sushi and fun! I did find a stink bug crawling across the table this time but I thankfully was able to forget about it and enjoy all the gluten free food options!!!!
Such a lovely atmosphere at the Walnut Cafe. Our waitress was so sweet to talk to. Delicious gluten free pancakes! The side of fruit was so fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the veggie egg-white omelette as well! (The peppers inside were very fresh)
Great place to go if you have celiac and/or a dairy allergy. They took precautions to prevent cross contamination and the gluten free cones were delicious.
I was so happy to see that Zeal is back! I wrote my first cookbook while working from Zeal, the first location. With Shine and Thymes gone, it’s so delightful to have a place with high-quality food that tastes good. Lots of gluten-free options and they are very accommodating if you have various food sensitivities.
Beautiful Teahouse. Great service. GPS took me behind the building. Parking is on the street in front of the teahouse. Delicious tea. Gluten free option available.
We visited this restaurant after learning they offered gluten-free ramen, a critical consideration for myself and my 6-year-old and 10-year-old daughters, since we all have celiac disease. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing and harmful. Upon delivering our meals, the server inaccurately identified which dishes were gluten-free. Midway through our meal, I noticed my eldest daughter’s noodles looked different from mine, and it became clear they had served her the wrong dish.
When we alerted the staff to their grave error, the response was a dismissive apology with no attempt to correct the mistake, offer compensation, or even check on my daughter’s well-being. As a result, she is now severely unwell, and we may need to visit urgent care. For someone with celiac disease, this mistake isn’t just a minor inconvenience—it risks weeks of recovery, long-term health complications, and heightened cancer risks.
The lack of safeguards to prevent allergen mix-ups is alarming, and the staff’s negligence and lack of accountability are unacceptable. Restaurants catering to dietary restrictions must prioritize rigorous training and protocols. This incident reflects a systemic failure, and I urge others with allergies or celiac disease to exercise extreme caution here.
One of the best gluten free pizza crusts I’ve ever eaten. GF Crust comes from Debbie’s bakery in Denver (I asked!). You need to buy a whole 16” GF pizza, and you’ll be glad to have the leftovers. Disco honey pie was divine! My husband loved his gluten-full slices too. Our new place for lunch in Boulder.
Organic Sandwich Company is one of our CU Boulder program’s favorite places to order from. From start to finish, working with Marcy and the team makes getting ready for any event a breeze. They are super helpful in choosing a menu (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free) and making sure we have what we need. We get SO much positive feedback.on the food and can attest, it’s delicious!! If you are looking for a company to cater your next event, this is the spot!
Loved this place, went with a big group for brunch. They have a great bloody mary bar. Things I tried and really liked: chips & onion dip app, caesar salad, gluten free margarita pizza.
I also ordered the southwest omelet, which I wouldn't get again but wasn't bad. Really great experience and definitely recommend!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely loved our visit to The Sink! Brandon was awesome—friendly, attentive, and gave us great service from start to finish. The gluten-free pizza was delicious, one of the best I’ve had! The artwork covering the walls and ceilings gives the place such a unique and funky vibe. It’s not just a restaurant, it’s a must-see historical spot with tons of character. Can’t wait to come back!
The best Indian buffet we have ever been too!! All of the dishes are labeled if they have gluten or dairy so it makes it incredibly easy to choose items that fit with our diet. And the food is all so good!! So many options for vegan, dairy free, gluten free!! Highly recommend
Fantastic GF options. Highly recommended for those with celiac disease. GF fried Chile relleno was amazing. And the fried jalapeno caps are out of this world!
Disappointing first experience. Although the food was not terrible, it was not spectacular. I am celiac and unfortunately did get sick after seitan was put into my meal. I had requested vegan and gluten free for my meal. Although I am unsure if this is why I felt sick since 2 others in my party got sick after meal and neither have dietary restrictions.
Then to make the experience a little worse, my husband's burrito had the paper that separates the cheese slices inside his burrito. The server kindly comped the burrito. Nevertheless, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
The Village Coffee shop holds a very special place in my heart. This family run business is filled with incredibly kind staff, a cozy atmosphere, and of course amazing comfort food.
Their menu is very affordable, especially considering it is in Boulder, and they have a wide variety of vegetarian and gluten free options.
The owners really are exceptional people. I have a lot of love and respect for the two them for keeping this historic place alive and filled with so much joy.
Please support local businesses and check them out if you haven’t already!
Great to take the family for a lunch after a long morning of activities. Gluten friendly, healthy and entertaining with games while you wait for food. A cocktail on the side, great way to end a long weekend in the mountains.
Great sandwiches but way overpriced. I was going to order 2 gluten free sandwiches . With delivery, tax and tip it came out to $46. I don't know who can justify two 7 inch sandwiches for that price!!
Super menu with vegetarian as well as gluten and dairy free options. Great service and atmosphere. I enjoyed my plata while watching our party sharing a wide variety of delicious tapas. Wonderful experience.
I went to this place on March 21st 2025 for dinner out with more 3 friends. I am celiac and have a strong reaction for Gluten and let everyone aware about it. I asked for Gluten FREE (NOT gluten friendly) and was advised by the staff on my options.
I ordered the Calamari and was told it was Gluten FREE and made with rice flour. I also paid the extra 7 dollars for the Gluten Free dough and ordered one pizza.
After I came home about 60min I started a severe intoxication and response that I ONLY develop when I ingest ( not just contamination) gluten.
On the top of that when we were paying the bill we politely asked if we could our bill split individually. We would understand if it wasn’t possible but the waiter was rude and sarcastic answering twice "you'all are asking too much".
To what the Restaurant "sells" itself it was a big dissatisfaction the way the waiter treats clients who pay for an expensive dinner!
But more than that if you are celiac or have a severe response to Gluten be EXTREMELY careful once eating there.
FANtastic pizza. Soo so good. I'll keep coming back here for SURE. Best part about it is that my mom could eat here too (she is gluten free/celiac). Eating out with my parents and wife for my wife's bday was the first time in YEARS I haven't seen my mom bring her own food. The pizza was to die for (as they say) but that's a very contradictory statement lol. EAT HERE, SO GOOD!!
My wife and I ate here on Thanksgiving and it was wonderful! We are both Gluten Free and this place was amazing for that! The hotel was also beautifully decorated for Christmas, and the restaurant staff was great :)
Motomaki in Boulder, Colorado, truly deserves a five-star review for its innovative approach to Japanese cuisine. The restaurant's concept of sushi burritos and bowls provides a refreshing and delicious twist to traditional sushi, offering both creativity and convenience in every bite. The atmosphere is casual and modern, perfect for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner. Ingredients are always fresh, with a variety of options that cater to all, including plenty of vegan and gluten-free choices. The flavors are well-balanced and bold, particularly in standout items like the spicy tuna roll and the Hula roll, which combines sweet and savory in an unforgettable way. The staff at Motomaki are friendly and efficient, enhancing the dining experience with their attentive service. For anyone in Boulder looking for a quick, tasty, and satisfying meal, Motomaki is a top choice.
Good food, great service, and great atmosphere. Honestly, the only downside is that it is very pricey.. $85 after tip for 2 small gluten-free pizzas and 2 ginger beers. But the outdoor seating was nice, they even have a section for dogs so we could eat with our pet. The hostess even brought our dog a water dish.. the little things go a long way.
Wow! We came here while on a trip after doing research on reviews and we were very happy with our decision. Excellent nigiri sushi, hand rolls and maki. The miso soup and hot sake was also really good. We had a nice table red wine.
The menu is also very helpful in labeling what is gluten free. The service is prompt. They use an on demand electronic button prompt to notify staff when you’re ready to order. Great atmosphere. Oh and bonus land- they have heated toilet seats. Highly recommend.
I am from Taiwan, it tastes a little different from what I have back home, but it’s so good that I will for sure come again.
p.s. my celiac gf enjoyed it too
Wow! This place is so cool. I had the most incredible sandwich: egg and cheese roll. My husband is gluten free and had a great sandwich on rice bread. Highly recommend!
