Came to Pagosa for vacation and Two Chics and a Hippie was the best restaurant! I have Celiac disease, and they are very accommodating. I got the Hippie breakfast with blueberry gluten free pancakes. Delicious. Great food, wonderful staff. Highly recommend.
Ran out of gluten free crust but didn't bother to tell us until the other pizza in our order was ready. Most tables were very dirty and zero table service or human interaction until you pick up your order. Asking for tips on the self order screen was a treat when there's zero actual service
Pizza we did get was super soggy and all the toppings slid off.
I have celiac disease and will never go here. It’s absolutely insane that gluten free bread is an additional $4.00. Really? $4.00? That’s stealing at this point.
Big fan of Building Roots show on HGTV, so of course we had to stop by this adorable coffee shop while we were in Pagosa Springs. We were only in town two days and we stopped in both days for coffee and yummy food, as well as purchasing some souvenirs.
The lemon blueberry muffin was amazing, and gluten free to boot! The coffee was delicious as well. Will definitely return if we get back to Pagosa Springs again!
We ate here for dinner while we stayed over night at the hot springs.
We arrived around 6pm and even though we didn’t have a reservation the hostess was able to get us a table with no wait.
The atmosphere is really nice and restaurant was very clean. Prices are a little pricey but was worth every penny.
Our waitress, Brittany, was so nice and helpful in ordering and recommendations. My wife wanted a cocktail and she recommended the Violet Bloom. The drink was one of the best cocktails we have ever had.
There were so many interesting menu items that I wanted to try. That I ended up ordering the chicken with three different sides.
When ordering the chicken, Brittany said that it was just a plain chicken breast and suggested a lemon garlic with capers sauce. The sauce was so good and chicken was juicy and tender.
As for the three different sides I ordered the Sweet and Sour Brussel Sprouts were my favorite.
The Brussel sprouts are ground up and mixed with their sweet and sour sauce. It was a huge surprise when tasting it. I have always loved grilled Brussels sprouts, my wife hates them.
When I took that first bite I told her she had to take a bite.
Since she hates Brussels sprouts it took some nagging for her to finally take a bite. She agreed with me that it was her favorite thing we tried that night.
The other two sides I tried were the Saffron Risotto and the garlic mashed potatoes. Both were excellent.
My wife ordered the Margarita Pizza with Sourdough crust. It was excellent and I liked the sourdough crust. I have a gluten allergy and the only bread I can eat is sourdough.
Then we decided to share a dessert. We ordered the limoncello tiramisu. We both agreed it was probably the best dessert we have ever had.
So I highly recommend this restaurant. My wife and I have already decided on what we are going to order whenever we come back to the hot springs.
This is no longer a food truck but a full fledged restaurant! When I asked about GF food she said everything besides toast and waffles are already made gluten free and they have options for those!! I was able to order the chicken and waffles. They use potato starch for their fried chicken. Our server Joplin was amazing and asked me if I was celiac. They take special care if you are celiac! I highly recommend this place.
Awesome food! Great to have another nice dining spot option in Pagosa. The pear salad was delicious. I know the menu changes, but everything on there was outstanding. They even have dairy/gluten/allergy options that you’ll need to ask for. Great date night place!
So excited to have this food truck in Pagosa. I was able to get a gluten-free rice bowl and a delicious watermelon salad. Food came out fast. Great benches with shade and public restrooms in the clock tower.
