3/23/24 my son Isaac and I visited the Wheeling location. My son has a severe gluten allergy. Maggie, our server went above and beyond to help accommodate my son's allergy. She was cheerful, friendly, and her kindness changed our night. I will DEFINITELY be coming back because of Maggie, and I will recommend her and C.H. to friends. Thank you Maggie!
Elegant venue with gluten-free options including pizza and pasta, set in a sophisticated atmosphere.

I had a pleasant experience. Super nice staff and even had gluten free options for my friend.
The Brussels were good and Shrimp Diablo were good.
Not as pricey as some of the restaurants we went to on our business trip either.
Cramped space with handmade dishes and careful gluten-free accommodations in a lively sports bar vibe.

DANGEROUS!!
I have a gluten allergy and have visited this restaurant four times in the past six months. Each time, I clearly communicated my allergy to the server, who confirmed with the kitchen that my order—specifically the turkey burger on a gluten-free bun—was safe. I was wondering why I was getting sick and couldn’t narrow it down.
Unfortunately, I recently discovered that the turkey patty contains breadcrumbs. This is not just disappointing, it's dangerously irresponsible. If the restaurant cannot accommodate gluten allergies, they should be upfront about it rather than repeatedly assuring customers that their food is safe. I hope they take this feedback seriously to prevent any health risks for others in the future.
I would not trust this restaurant as their staff is incompetent.
This spot offers an inviting, relaxing atmosphere with calming blue lighting and music, creating a serene setting ideal for those seeking a gluten-free dining experience. The ambiance supports a comfortable meal, though caution is advised due to limited allergy safety protocols.

Would not recommend for anyone with a food allergy.
I was not the one who made the order with this restaurant, so I can't completely know what originally transpired and don't purport to do so. But we have 2 people with gluten issues, another with a dairy allergy, and yet another with an anaphylactic egg allergy. It would be highly unlikely that these allergies would not have been mentioned either as they pertain to the whole order or to individual orders.
My orders appeared to contain both gluten ( I have celiac disease) and egg (a fatal allergy of my child). I called to find out if they did contain egg, so that we didn't cause a fatal allergic reaction. I was placed on hold 4 times and then given an incredibly insensitive response about how it wasn't their fault. Saying they were only notified of, and therefore noted a dairy allergy on one meal, that they knew about the egg allergy and noted it as a dairy allergy on one plate ( egg and dairy are different allergies). That they knew about the gluten issue but only marked the one entree no dairy. I understand trying to protect the restaurant and themselves but admitting knowledge of all three allergies, but noting only one of them on one entree is a big red flag.
When I asked if my meal contained egg they said that I shouldn't eat anything we ordered. When I probed further asking what contains egg, the response was literally "just don't eat any of it" ( at least 7 entrees plus appetizers).
Based solely on my experience, on my follow up call, the manager i spoke with doesn't understand food allergies- neither what proteins/potential allergies are present in what foods, nor the gravity of what consuming an allergen can mean to some people. But based on the advice to not eat any of the food prepared, it's entirely possible this restaurant is not capable of keeping anyone with a food allergy safe either based of knowledge, or food safety protocol. They admit to having information on three separate food allergies and only noting one allergy on one ticket.
Again I can't say what happened on the original order call, but the lack of understanding of food allergies by a manager on the follow up call, and the immediate defensive reaction, and the suggestion to throw away hundreds of dollars of food, when I just wanted to know how to avoid killing my child....
As someone dealing with food allergies I think it's important to anticipate mistakes and oversights when dining out. I, therefore, feel like it's important to share this experience with anyone else with allergies considering dining at this restaurant, so that you can carefully weigh your own risk when it comes to deciding if this is a safe place for you and your family.
This modern, spacious eatery features a bright, airy room with antique white and light blue walls, creating a calm, spring-like vibe ideal for a relaxed gluten-free breakfast outing. The inviting atmosphere complements the delightful morning experience.

Looking for a good breakfast place that has plenty of gluten free options for my bestie, my husband found this place on Google maps. I am so happy he did!! Let me tell you it was easily some of the best breakfast we have had in Illinois. I had the carnitas skillet, my husband had the berry berry cakes and my bestie has ham and eggs with fruit. All of us were really impressed with their food! It is absolutely delicious!!🤤 I’m saving this place now on maps so we can come back 🙏🏻🙏🏻
