Lots of healthy options. I tried their sausage biscuit and Cyprus side salad. The biscuit was good but the salad was stellar! So fresh and delicious. The dressing so light and flavorful. They had lots of gluten free and vegan options. Enjoyed the inside, very warm and inviting.
Gonna have to rate this lower until I get a response. Ordered the asiago chicken, fries, and French onion -all gluten free with listed allergies. I didnt have the soup last night and have had severe diarrhea, bloating and gas all day. Typical from eating gluten for me and last up to 1-2 weeks. I can only assume it was in fact the Asiago chicken. I rarely eat outside of my comfort spots because of this so im gonna have to recommend you steer clear if you are Celiac, GF, or have any allergies. If you cant guarantee the surface or utensils havent been contaminated, don't use them or don't make the product. I would rather have the items docked and refunded than go through this.
It has been a while since we visited Taste. Historically have had good service but today even though we clearly stated gluten free due to allergy there was a croton in my wife salad and she got cross contaminated. I took the salad to the staff and they offered to make it again. The second salad had other items not Gluten-free. Very disappointed as they used to have dedicated station for making Gluten-free orders.
We were there Dec.8th,Sunday 6:30pm. As soon as we stood to order, no one recognized our presence. The guy and lady just went on with what they’re doing. Not busy, it’s just us waiting. 2 people seated. They could’ve at least say, We’ll be with you or something. Instead, they just made us wait for about 3mins. We ordered Bacon and brie pasta which is the only one that’s ok that’s why I gave a 2 star. The Supreme pizza and a gluten-free pizza are so dry and tasteless. This is also the dirtiest location we’ve been to. I hope the owner/manager will address the performance of their staff. The attitude they reflected shows that they’re not happy with what they do.
This place was absolutely amazing! The gluten free bread was so good! The fries were amazing and served in a huge portion which was great for sharing! Would highly recommend eating here if you are near Norfolk area.
Went there on my honeymoon and just recently made it back after 15 years. Same great food and service. They are great with gluten free options and this time we brought the kids and they enjoyed it as well!
What a fabulous place!!! Not only is the food great, and it includes lots of Gluten-free options, the people are amazing--particularly Shauna-the owner/gallery manager, and Willow. They have painting opportunities/relaxing and a gallery for artists to exhibit. What a great vibe!!!
Having worked in both coffee and customer service before, I can truly say that Cafe Stella's is a gem anywhere and a staple in Norfolk. My friends and I celebrated a birthday at Stella's tonight, and happened to interact with both of the owners. It warmed my heart to see a business where the owners are so hands on in leading their staff and making a difference in the community. I learned that the cafe offers gluten free options and has a special order bakery. I can't wait to try their gluten free baked goods during my next visit—if they're anything like the espresso, I know they'll be delicious. Thank you for hosting me and my friends!
The food is delicious and they have good gluten free options. I appreciate the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Their portions are large; come hungry!

My family came to celebrate a birthday. My son has a food allergy. The server Carson told me that they couldn't do anything to accommodate my son, and this is a seafood restaurant. I said to Carson we go to many seafood restaurants like captain George and they accommodate us.So I asked for the manager. The manager which informed me that the owners daughter has celiac and they use the over for her so I was like please do that for my son.
Omg best ever! They were constantly changing gloves. I got the chicken shawarma bowl and was so happy that I had gluten-free options. The fries were amazing and the Turkish coffee was spot on!
Good googly moogly this place has great food. And an entire vegan menu if you like me crave vegan food other than veggie burgers you love a good falafel and addicted to good hummus. Come here immediately. PS they also have a vegan and gluten-free brownie. I wanted to order everything on the menu and I think I did.
Great coffee and some baked products. I didn't look but I assume they have some gluten free products and probably breakfast choices. Love the ambiance.
A great find. The pizzas are perfect. In fact the gluten free one my friend let me taste was practically indistinguishable from the regular pizza I had. Prices were very reasonable. Staff were very friendly. My go to in Norfolk.
Longtime fans, but this experience was alarming.
My husband and I have eaten here many times and it used to be our favorite pizza spot. Last night, we ordered our usual: pepperoni pizzas for us, the Maddy for my mom, and a gluten-free veggie pizza for our friend.
Not long after eating, my husband and I both became extremely sick. I was vomiting for hours, and he followed shortly after. Initially, we thought it might’ve been the pepperoni, but after some process of elimination, we realized my mom (who only had cheese) also ended up vomiting later in the night. Our friend, who had the gluten-free crust and no cheese, was totally fine. His was completely vegan.
So now we’re thinking it could’ve been the cheese, or possibly the dough, since those of us who got sick all had the same regular crust.
We’ve always loved this place, but this was a scary and disappointing experience. Sadly, we won’t be back after this. Food safety just isn’t something we’re willing to risk.
The food was amazing and the service was superior. Dawn did an amazing job serving the guests. She is hilarious and makes fabulous recommendations. I didn't catch the bartender name but he was very funny and made excellent drinks. This place would make a great date night or hang out with friends. The menu is delicious and fun and has something for everyone. Vegan and gluten friendly items.
Delicious food and great service! The guys here are awesome - so friendly and genuine. I've yet to encounter any of them in a bad mood much less providing anything other than great service! If you have celiac disease it is safe to eat here! If you ask for a lettuce bun they always ask if you have an allergy and if so they take precautions to ensure no cross contamination. You can also eat the french fries!!! Love this place!!
Solo date at Press 626 Wine Bar. Hidden gem in Norfolk Downtown.
Craft cocktails and amazing food. Fresh “Non-alcoholic Cucumber Mint Fresh Squeezed Spritzer”, “Australian Lamb Chops” were absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly, gluten free and the miso tahini hummus with mint chimichurri that came with it was so tasty and of course I had to try their vegan “Mezze Cheese Board”, as a cheese lover is mandatory!
Press 626 was amazing, great atmosphere, outstanding costumer service, my bartender Betti was super nice and welcoming. This place is very casual for a fancy place. Definitely recommend if you pass through Norfolk, I personally loved it.
I have loved Razzo since their old location and family and friends have followed to their new location. If anything it has gotten better. The best thing for me is I have celiac disease (gluten free) and they have always taken care of me. Tonight I got the best tasting Veal Francese gluten free with no problems with the friendliest hostess and waitress. As a business owner myself I knew I needed to let them know how much my friend, son and I enjoyed the meal and will continue to come back as we have for years. Cheers!

Ordered pad Thai with chicken breast (meat cost extra).
Pad Thai was missing chicken, had a yellowed dehydrated lime wedge next to it, and doesn't seem traditional. Seems Americanized and very few gluten-free, dairy free options.
3.5/10, not impressed
First time coming to the shop at Premium Outlets. I got the steak and egg absolutely positively delicious! The two young ladies working very friendly and accommodating to my gluten free allergy (celiac). Jada and Tink really good hires great energy and vibes hire more people like them!!
So good. I did the grab and go and I’m such a happy girl with the chicken salads here.
My only “wish” is that they added a gluten free bread type option
First, there was Elle (“Ellie”), our superb, professional, well-informed server. A veteran of restaurant work, and thoroughly precise in her entire presentation.
Then, there was the food.
Outstanding in preparation, quality of ingredients, and flavor combinations.
The iceberg salad boasted a stunning array of flavors and garnishes and an emulsified, balsamic vinaigrette. My oysters Rockefeller were forgettable yet tasty, just not the classic I had expected. My wife had the crispy whole (boneless!) trout, and I had a fabulous roasted whole (boneless!) branzino. Both fishes were garnished with some splashes of frissee lettuce, with a sweet, subtle lemon vinaigrette. I didn’t care for the succotash because it included soy beans instead of lima beans. A disappointing, inappropriate blend of corn, carrots, and edamame. Lima beans makes succotash authentic, and this was a strange departure.
The passionfruit white chocolate mousse chocolate bomb was a great dessert, well worth trying because it was gluten-free and so satisfying.
This was a fabulous experience at Saltine.
Blanca is consistently amazing. We started with the fritto misto and omg! Its light and delicious and gluten free! You’d never know it.
I had the shrimp risotto and it was simply perfection. I took my dad and he said it was the best shrimp he’s ever had. A delightful experience. Courtney continues to create a wonderful menu. Stefan was attentive and friendly. What a gem to have in the neighborhood!!
Great atmosphere. Great selection. Comfortable seating area with a relaxed vibe. I usually order online because the menu is so great. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in person. I usually get Coffee which is great but this time I got a smoothie which was also excellent. The smoothie bowls are really good too, they are always filled with fresh fruit and the presentation is beautiful. They do have a gluten free bagel option. The bagel is a little dense honestly but it's nice to have the option.
Clearly marked gluten free options, no skimping on portions, our server was spot on with recommendations, they have NA beers and low alcohol beers. Knowledgeable about the liquor they serve.
When we arrived at 7:30pm on a Saturday, we were told that the inside was packed and our only option was to sit in the heated and covered dining area. The heater above our head was louder than the music. For drinks, my fiance enjoyed a pint of New Realm Hazy Like A Fox, while I enjoyed an Arnold Palmer made with Sweet Tea.
We weren't super hungry. Jodi enjoyed Salmon Capri made gluten-free. Kevin enjoyed Fresh Clams Strip Basket and a side of fries. I loved how they were crispy. My fiance and I shared a bowl of She Shore Crab Soup, a half dozen of Raw Oysters, and a Bucket of Clams. The She Shore Crab Soup consisted of heavy cream, crabmeat, old bay, and a hint of sherry. It was rich and creamy and tad bit too spicy for me. The Raw Oysters were fresh and served with lemon wedge, cocktail sauce, and horseradish. I was surprised it didn't come with a mignonette. The Bucket of Clams consisted of a bowl of littleneck clams cooked in garlic, butter, white wine, and basil and served with a toasted rustic bread. It was extremely garlicky and salty. My fiance didn't mind it but I wasn't a fan.
This is my current favorite coffee shop in Norfolk! Their flavors are creative but work so well, and I love their little vintage corner that you can browse while you wait for coffee.
Occasionally they'll have gluten-free pastry options, but they do run out. The coffees are all delicious and the baristas are wonderful.
