The pasta was very good — not the best Italian food I’ve had but tasty for sure. My friend who’s gluten free really enjoyed the gluten free pasta as well. The service however was lacking, the server did not check on us nearly enough & we had to repeatedly make eye contact to have him come over to refill our waters (it’s in the 90s outside & probably around 70-75 in the restaurant). We also were not checked on when our food arrived & when he finally did check on us (after 10 minutes & me making eye contact), our request for parmesan was met with a shaker (which is fine & not on him, but maybe something the restaurant should consider improving upon). I’ve worked in the restaurant industry before & I understand busy nights where service maybe be less responsive. However, he paid significantly more attention to other tables in his section (which appeared to only 6 tables total, & only 4 were sat for over half our meal). I’m not sure of the reasoning — my friend & I are younger women in our 20s so maybe he assumed we wouldn’t tip well? Which fine, but also we both ordered drinks & generally tip 30%. Very disappointing & may not come again. Food wasn’t good enough to justify the poor service.
This venue offers a stunning atmosphere with majestic ceiling lights and soft carpeted floors, creating a classy yet relaxed vibe. Despite some inconsistencies, the staff's efforts to accommodate gluten-free needs and the inviting setting make it a notable choice for gluten-sensitive guests.

From beginning to the end our experience was more than 5 stars. Kate our waitress was an amazing guide through the night! I am gluten free and felt safe and taken care of. My meal was the best meal I had while in DC! The drink the food and dessert was top notch!

The food was very disappointing. We had the lasagna, the basil chicken pasta. The taste was mediocre, the gluten free pasta was good. The portions, especially the lasagna was ridiculously small. We got cocktail, something with ginger, lemon, honey that was flat and bland. The afogatto was also average.
The service was pretty good and the place was packed.

If you are on a gluten free diet, this restaurant is a real treat. This is the ONLY restaurant I know of in the entire DC area that offers gluten free French toast!!! It is really yummy. It is gluten free cinnamon raison bread that they make into French toast. It is served with maple syrup that has few slices of bananas in it. It is always served warm. (Be sure to look for the bananas. If the French toast is served with sliced strawberries, that is the wheat based French toast.)
This restaurant also has gluten free bread so most of their sandwiches can be made gluten free upon request. And they can make their eggs benedict gluten free by using their gluten free toast.
It is a very pleasant experience dining here. I usually dine outside. They are located on a small street in Georgetown. Georgetown can be crowded but on this small street, it is never very busy. On a nice weather day, it is a pleasant experience to eat the gluten free French toast while enjoying the weather.
The service is always good too. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant.

We have been to the Nashville location many times, and we're so excited to try the location in DC. The food was great, and we now have new favorites that we hadn't tried before. This is a great place for anyone. But especially for those with celiac or just need gluten-free without the worry of cross contamination. The crispy zucchini is a must.
Inside, the restaurant offers an attractive decor and a dim, cool atmosphere that creates a unique vibe ideal for gluten-free diners. The setting complements the gluten-free chocolate cheesecake, making it a standout choice for those seeking safe, delicious options.
This cozy yet modern spot offers a great atmosphere during quiet times with intimate seating that fosters comfort. Attentive service ensures careful handling of gluten-free needs, with many dishes marked for gluten-free preparation, making it a gluten-free friendly restaurant.

I've been wanting to try this place for over a year and it was worth the wait.
Initially I found it when looking for gluten free friendly restaurants and it had great reviews. A lot of their dishes can be made gluten free including some pastas.
This place was *cozy* but modern. Great atmosphere especially if you go during a quiet time. We went at 830 which was perfect cuz the rush was over and we got a great table.
Service was great, very attentive and great recommendations. I even asked for a recommendation on champagne/prosecco and they ended up bringing me a sample of something not even on the menu yet which was exactly the taste I wanted.
We both got steak, the NY strip and filet. We both agreed that these were the best steaks we've had in a very long time. My partner got the strip med-rare and it was *actually* medium rare.
We got the fried pork belly app and Brussel sprouts app. I don't even like Brussel sprouts... like low key hate them but these were GOOD.
I could see this place being a place that's not great when super busy. It's not a big restaurant and some of the tables were pretty tight. So I definitely recommend a reservation and going during a less busy time if possible.
Will definitely be coming back
