A charming place, the service was very good, and despite it being close to closing time, they treated us very kindly. If we ever return to Saint-Jean-de-Luz, we'll repeat the experience. Plus, one of us has celiac disease, and they provided us with wonderful service and options.
We were very well received. Fast service, good products with a varied choice (vegetarian and gluten-free à la carte). Seen from the terrace directly onto the sea which gives a very charming setting. I highly recommend Soleil.
Fantastic moment with this gentleman (and his lady) received a little late with a big smile and once again taking into account my gluten intolerance. I enjoyed myself from A to Z. There were very few people there because Sunday evening but very nice customers we talked with on the way to Compostela after having enjoyed a fish soup and a really good piece of meat (that was me land/sea pairing 😂) followed by a chocolate mousse….
I managed to take photos without getting yelled at 😉😉😂
I love this kind of atmosphere where you think you're at home or at a friend's house. THANKS.
The three people who were there today were very welcoming.
The savory toast was very generous and delicious, along with a slice of pecan pie, and most importantly, it was gluten-free.
Restaurant found by chance during a visit to Saint Jean de Luz.
Being gluten intolerant, I was delighted to be able to find a menu where I didn't have to deprive myself.
Very warm welcome and very smiling and attentive staff with their customers
Menu at 29.90: delicious starter whose flavors were perfectly balanced (Basquaise casserole-style egg with belly). The main course has nothing to envy of the starter and is just as tasty! (Baked hake with basil sauce accompanied by white rice).
Dessert slightly too sweet and hearty for me but I prefer savory to sweet. If I remain objective, the dessert was very well made (Jurançon pear panacotta)
No problem when I asked for a doggy bag which is nice when everything is so good!
