Always lovely to come here. Great food choice for everyone, gluten free and vegan menus are great and I've never had a bad meal here. Really relaxed atmosphere, lovely cocktails. Dog friendly!!

We called last night as the photos on social media looked amazing. It did not disappoint! The pulled pork was absolutely incredible and homemade chips were delicious! You can get gluten free options here, which is music to my ears as my Dad is a coeliac and it’s nice to see a restaurant offer decent GF options. Lucas looked after us and he was lovely. The food was delicious, we will be back.

If you are visiting anywhere near Chesterfield (I would define near as within 100 miles) then I would make a detour to this place...it's absolutely superb. Tasty food. Lots of choice. Plenty of gluten free options. Kids menu. Dog friendly. We took a non vegan friend and she was well impressed too.

I love having a spot of food here, the food is not only outstanding but fantastic. All food/Drinks are prepared well and never disappoint me, the sizes of food are great and there is so much choice. The Food is always very tasty and leaves me feeling full. The prices are fairly reasonable for what you get as well. I love how it welcomes dog (well behaviour) and all the staff are super friendly and helpful. The cafe is small inside but does has a few seats outside as well, for those sunny days, it also gets super busy very fast at certain times. But dispite this the staff never seem to be worried or rushed because of this. The atmosphere is great its also lovely and warm and is decorated very well. The main reason I love it here, is I'm gluten free and vegetarian so it's hard to find places I can safely eat and I'm not limited to 1 or 2 items there is plenty of choice, which is amazing to see. Keep up the great work guys/girls 👍

Although it’s had a few name changes and owners, I think this venue has now established itself as a destination pub – at least for me! Having not visited for a few years, I called in with my wife on a late Sunday afternoon after a long walk from the nearby Avenue Washlands and up through the new estate. I must say I was extremely impressed with this place after such a long absence. Upon walking in, after stating that we had not booked a table but just wanted a drink, we were welcomed in and told where to go for some comfortable seating, despite it being busy. The staff were all very pleasant with us as we wound our way through to the bar – just smiling and acknowledging us, which is something you don’t tend to get in a lot of places. The guy who served me at the well-appointed bar was pleasant and apologised for my (short) wait, before taking my order. My wife had a large glass of Pinot Grigio, and I ventured for a bottle of Daura Damm. In the end, because it was a pleasant evening, we decided to sit outside on the veranda area, where we realised there was a garden area with extra seating further down below us. We made a note to try that out next time. We hadn’t planned to stay for more than one drink but, as we had been so nicely treated, we decided to have another drink. This time we both had Daura Damms, with me asking for a pint glass and two bottles, to make up my 660ml “pint” (needs must, and all that!) We didn’t have any food – apart from a bag of Pipers crisps each (last of the big spenders) – but vowed to return and try it on another occasion. I remain hopeful that I’ll be able to navigate the menu for some gluten free offerings and, if so, I will make it a regular place to visit to unwind and enjoy the great ambience. Thank you so much for catering for a baby shower!!! There was so much selection on the afternoon tea for only £14.99 by far the cheapest in Chesterfield and with lots of extras such as quiche, pork pie, and macaroons. The food was delicious, Rachel was brilliant in providing gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options for the afternoon tea with just as much choice as a regular one. All the staff were lovely and we were able to reserve the whole terrace for no extra cost to host the event. The food was so nice and there was plenty left over, staff were attentive and provided great customer service! We will definitely be returning!!

Great Sunday lunch, I had the lamb and beef duo, meat was cooked perfectly. Plenty of gluten free options on the main menu, was too full to have a pudding.

This was our first visit and no amount of 5* reviews we read could have prepared us for just how excellent Figaro is. We chose the shared platter for two as a main. The presentation of the large boards (per person) and extra dishes (one, a delicious aubergine dish) was beautiful with its edible flowers and variety of ingredients. Not that we needed it, but the portion size was huge so much so that we took the spare home in containers for the next day. The waitresses are so friendly and helpful and the chef came out to chat to us and explained about the sourcing of the ingredients. You wouldn't know that the cheeses were vegan and a lot of the platter could be called vegetarian. The chef kindly prepared the boards so I could have gluten-free. Altogether, a great dining experience in an attractive setting. Thank you to all involved.
