Came here because of ads about the fried chicken! I haven’t had a real life chicken parmesan in years due to my gluten allergy but always craved one and was so excited to order it, my partner got the meatloaf and they loved it as did I my chicken parmesan though I wish it was pasta instead of squash but I can understand at least they had this option for me. The gluten free desserts were delicious, the chocolate chip cookie and peanut butter tart were to die for and we had their zero proof cocktail spicy margarita which was very flavorful to the point where we weren’t sure if it was NA! The cocktail was a big highlight for me, I could definitely come here again and try some more things off the menu!
Generally very good food and service. I marked down a star because my companion, who is Celiac, was served a dish with a gluten contaminated garnish (which she caught before eating). Human error, but quite serious, nonetheless. Manager did take accountability and apologize.
I had a very disappointing experience here. My friend and I came for restaurant week. I called ahead and asked if they could accommodate a gluten allergy in their restaurant week menu which they said yes of course. When we got there and were ordering, I was informed that they could not substitute gf past or bread for any of the menu items so we could not participate in restaurant week which is the whole reason we went there. When we ordered off the regular menu, they would not substitute proteins so I again, couldn’t order the dish I wanted. Their pizza was tasty but everything else was bland and very mediocre. For a $30+ entree, you should be able to get the meal you want. This place is not worth the money and we will not be going back.
Extremely disappointed in our experience last night. My wife and I were seated, and the server poured my water. My glass was visibly dirty. I'm not one who usually complains but I kindly pointed it out and was told "Oh, it's not dirty, its a residue on all these glasses from how they're cleaned." I looked around and no other glass had that. I just... drank out of a dirty glass all night.
Worse, though, was my wife ordered the Brick Chicken, which is clearly labeled gluten-free on the menu. Her dish arrived, and there's bread all in it. We asked the server for clarification, asking if the bread was gluten-free. And the response was "Oh, no, it's not. I'm not sure why the menu says that." We couldn't believe a dietary item was just shrugged off the way it was. There was an offer in passing to make something else, but at that point we were too against the clock to have something else made.
The food we had was delicious, but the overall experience bad. Given my wife was only able to eat a small portion of her meal, the kind thing to do would be to comp the meal, or at least our drink. It all felt very dismissive. We won't be returning, and if you visit, I'd recommend getting clarity on any item that says gluten-free just to be safe. You clearly can't trust the menu.
I had such a great experience. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure I was ordering from the correct part of the menu to ensure my pizza was gluten-free, which I really appreciated.
Originally, we planned to get our food to go, but the atmosphere was so calm and inviting, and the staff was so friendly that we decided to stay for a drink and an appetizer while waiting for our pizza. It was such a pleasant surprise! I really wish I had gotten the name of the guy who rang us up—he was fantastic.
Overall, great service, a welcoming environment, and delicious food.
