It's hard to find a restaurant that will accommodate 14 people, appeal to all ages and some gluten free. Mellow Mushroom fits the bill. We were able to get a table right away on a Friday at lunchtime. The food was delicious! Most of us ordered the Greek salad with Esperanza dressing to start because it's just so good. We also tried the new taco pizza. Also a hit! Our server Katie did an excellent job with our motley crew, some arriving later than others. She was friendly and attentive. Overall great service, delicious food and fun atmosphere!
At End of the Line, where flavors burst bright,
Vegan delights bring pure culinary might.
The jackfruit pulled pork? Oh, what a treat,
On gluten-free bread, a savory feat!
The cabbage was crisp, pickles stood tall,
With cucumber slices—the best of them all!
Lentil soup warmed my soul with each bite,
But that sandwich? It took the spotlight!
From Brussels to chives, the soup was a hit,
Yet the star of the show? I devoured every bit.
Two visits down, and it’s clear to see,
This café serves flavor with pure mastery!!!
Food is always phenomenal and the service is great. Definitely the best indian food in town. So flavorful and fresh. Plenty of gluten free options as well
This place is great and we frequent it often. However can you please add your gluten free options to Uber Eats and other carriers? I have to call every time to change my order to sub for gluten free bread. This most recent time I waited on hold for over 20 minutes. It would just save both the employees and gluten free customers a lot of time.
Love this place! Devon was are server and she was so attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu considering I have Celiac! 10/10 recommend this place!
I was deciding where to have our last breakfast/brunch before heading home, and this place was the best. It was enough for both of us. I have gluten restrictions, and this place has tons of gluten-free options. The waffles were great. The baked potatoes were excellent. Even the drinks session was good. This will definitely be my go-to when I return to Pensacola.
Great spot and awesome food, truly the best steak in Pensacola, whole dinner was superb!
Gluten free fish fry was spectacular and the hush pups are delightful.
Great atmosphere, dolphins swam by as an extra blessing!
This place was absolutely amazing! Our waitress Denise went above and beyond! My avocado toast was everything from beautiful to delicious. Don’t sleep on the black coffee either! They have all the creamers! This place also keeps in mind gut health and eating restrictions! Gluten free isn’t something they shy away from! Beautiful, healthy, and homey🙌🏻🫶🏻
Culver's has a gluten-free bun, so I figured I should try them out. The burger was a good fast food burger, which I haven't had in about 20 years. Fries weren't "extra crispy" but were still very good, and the sweet tea is just as good as the sweet tea from the place that makes all those donations I find unacceptable.
Though Culver's has the standard cross-contamination warnings, I've had no adverse reaction to eating the food I got, which is more than I can say for some fancier places I've been.
I'd say this is a really good option for someone with a wheat allergy, gluten sensitivity, or possibly even Celiac disease who wants to eat fast food-style burgers and fries.
See Ew and Curry were epic! So good, best time in town. Service was 10/10 as well, super attentive
Gluten free labeling is great! (Wings are friend with breaded items tho)
Always blown away by the care the baristas put into their craft. As someone with Celiac disease it’s amazing to find a coffee shop that takes the time to make sure it’s safe for me! Will always return!
A unique and elevated take on basic dishes. I love the intricacies of each dish and carefully crafted flavor profiles. I have a gluten sensitivity and staff are able to provide recommendations and modifications to accommodate this. Nice wine and drink selection. New location is beautiful, but can get noisy when crowded. Excellent service!
Dog friendly!! And bottomless mimosas! Super impressed with this rad cappuccino and all day breakfast spot. A character filled coffee shop that has free wifi for remote work and expanded from an indoor skate park/surf shop. I ordered the Ala Moana Acai but my partner's Steak n Egg melt was too good looking not to steal a few bites. Smoothies, vegan/gluten free options, and a delicious pastry bar! The employees really take pride in the food they're serving. We came in right as they opened on a Sunday so it was peaceful but I read they have live music events and I bet it can get crowded so come early!
Majority of the main dishes can be made gluten free! Tell your server and the chef will double check everything and also cook things in a different pan just so you can eat that item instead of frying it in a fryer that could have a cross contamination issue
I've eaten here twice and I got the same employee twice (a lady with long dark hair) and she is an absolute joy. So bright and positive. I have celiacs disease and the places I can eat is so limited. Today I got a number 17 (so freaking good) and I ran back in bc I thought I got regular bread instead of gluten free because their gluten free bread is so high quality. The sales person handled it with a great attitude as well. Love it!
I asked if they had a gluten free menu, which they didn't. BUT - the cashier/waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped me find a dish that appealed to me. Turns out, most of their menu is gluten free! I had the shrimp spring rolls, tofu bowl and jasmine green tea. They offer a fresh vegetable bar as well so you can add more to whatever you order. I loved my food, the peaceful atmosphere and kind staff. I will absolutely be back!!!
AMAZING. the food was very delicious. Most of the dishes gluten free and the amount of food you receive is wonderful for that price. The owners are very friendly.
Always come here for sushi, especially with the all you can eat being just as good as their normal menu and not cheaped out and tiny like other all you can eat places! Also always careful of my fiancé’s gluten allergy.
I am gluten free and noticed that their menu listed which were gf so I picked fhe sashimi of the salmon and shrimp and eel, all listed as gf. My salon and shrimp came out as rhat but then I got a roll. I asked multiple times is this what the bbq eel was on the menu, jn the sashimi section. 2 waiters said yes. I ate part of it just to find out tjete was fried asparagus jn it. They took it off the bill but luckily I don't have celiacs or else it would babe been bad. I was sick in bed the next day so bloated and in pain I had to skip the beach. Ruined my trip.
Nice that my celiac husband had some gf options. For appetizer we had shrimp and chicken lettuce wraps that were delicious. He had the mahi tacos. He said the taco shells needed to be a little crispier but flavor was good. I had the mushroom stack with blackened shrimp that was very tasty. Our son had the savory bread pudding dinner. I didn't particularly like the sangria... tasted a little like it had powdered lemonade? Beautiful location. Sat on the outside patio. We will definitely go back!
Absolutely charming. Great place to grab some lunch while exploring downtown. Fun drink selection, too. Love the tacos and nachos! Staff are friendly and attentive. Gluten free options available.
I’m trying not to get carried away with superlatives, but we had a truly excellent dinner. We went for our anniversary, and they took such great care to make it a special evening. Service was impeccable, and the food was amazing. The best Brussels sprouts, the best crème brûlée, and some of the best shrimp and lamb I’ve ever had.
I also need to say how accommodating they were about my wife’s gluten allergy. They didn’t have a limited “gluten-free menu” like most places. Instead they told her to order whatever she pleased and they’d make sure it’s gluten free. That *never* happens. Couldn’t be happier with the experience.
This is a great little restaurant that is new to the east hill area! The food has always been top notch and service has been amazing! The establishment is super cozy and always clean, and would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys great quality food! We have personally tried the French dip sandwich, hot honey fried chicken sandwich,
Burrow burger, sweet potato waffle fries and their regular fries! The burger can also be made gluten free for anyone with a gluten allergy/intolerance.
1st time visit for family and me. What a hidden jem!
Staff were pleasant, eager to please, and just plain awesome!
Two staffers in particular: our waitress was very helpful in explaining menu items and helping us order, was extremely attentive in checking to see if we needed anything - we felt like we were her only patron though it was extremely busy and every table filled.
Manager took special care to make my gin lemon drop martini (something they don't usually get asked to make) and it was the best I've had! Thank you both for making our first visit the best experience ever!
Food was fresh and excellent taste and flavor. Came out incredibly fast! And on a busy, busy Saturday night... couldn't believe it.
Extra plus is they offer gluten free soy sauce - hard to find places that carry that or tamari sauce. Thank you!
Didn't notice the delightful outdoor seating until we left....will definitely do that next visits now that weather is cooling.
Thank you all!
Your Forever Patrons!
I am one of those picky eaters, only eat certain foods at certain places, etc. This restaurant has impressed me! The food is delicious!! Portions more than adequate. I cannot express how incredible the staff and services were during our visit. My friend cannot eat anything with gluten, so we were concerned that she would have trouble finding something she could eat. They went out of their way to help find her the best meal! I will absolutely come back here, and I will recommend this place to anyone that is hungry for delicious, authentic Mexican food!
I like that they have multiple gluten free options including pizza. It's not strict gluten free do to possible cross contact in the kitchen but it is safe for my family.
The food is always very good and the tea is amazing.
Best place for tacos, tamales, chilaquiles and soup. Be sure to get an aquas frescas. Their tortillas are hand made fresh and gluten free. Absolutely a place to go if you live or visit Pensacola.
