They can pretty much make any of their sandwiches GLUTEN FREE, and they had at least one soup that was gluten-free. They were extremely accommodating and had things wrapped individually and marked as being gluten free. Great option!
Grabbed an iced caramel latte and a cold brew with oat. The latte tasted VERY strongly of burnt coffee. The cold brew was OK.
Food options for GF/Celiac's folks are rough here. The gluten-free toast is definitely Naperville-priced (for those not familiar with their 'burbs, I'm trying to say the pricing was somewhere between "ouch" and "boing!" [For those not familiar with a classic "White Christmas" reference, I'm saying it's expensive]). Butters tastes good though - not worth the price of admission, but tasty nonetheless.
We coordinated a birthday party here and could not have been happier with the food and service. A member of our party was gluten free and they took great care with his meal. Highly recommend!

I’ve come here 3 different times and each time my experience got worse. I really wanted to like this place, because it has a special quality about it & I see the potential, but the kitchen is constantly missing the mark.
During my first visit, the food was bland. I had ordered a savory crepe that tasted subpar to any crepe I’ve ever had.
The second visit, I ordered the viral giant croissants. I asked the waiter which flavors were available & he replied “all of them”. After our meal, I placed a to go order for one of each flavor, but was told they only had 3 flavors available. Once I got home I passed out the croissants to my family members to try and everyone had a “meh” expression on their faces. So I tasted one and the croissant was so dry and hard. (I drove straight home)
During my third & final visit with a friend, I ordered the soufflé pancakes that are supposed to be light, fluffy, & jiggly. I received 3 flat pancakes. I looked at the waitress as she placed my plate in front of me with disbelief. I showed her a picture from their own website of what they should look like and she agreed and took them back. My friend’s steak was waaaaay overcooked and they took that back as well and apologized for everything. The manager came out & said the kitchen accidentally used gluten free flour & that’s why the soufflé pancakes wouldn’t rise. But they served it anyway? Weird.
THEN they brought me a steak taretar & the meat was BROWN instead of red. The waitress apologized for that as well & took it away. At that point I was done. They kindly removed my plates from the bill & gave us a free mimosa to make it up to us. So at the end of it all I had an empty belly but a nice buzz! Until they get new kitchen management, I don’t think I’ll be returning.
Pleasantly surprised with this breakfast spot! My wife & I stopped in on a Saturday an hr before they were to close, for our 1st time to order brunch to-go after browsing their menu online for vegan & gluten-free options. We had a few questions about their offerings while ordering tho, & Alex kindly greeted us & offered to help. He didn't hesitate to go back to the kitchen to confirm ingredients for us which was so helpful & reassuring, & really sets the bar for top notch customer service. Many places are so uninformed on what goes into the food they offer & can't be bothered to help or find out when asked, so it really was so refreshing to be assisted by someone who cared.
🌱⚠️ We were glad we asked tho, bc we found out that while their GF bread option is listed on their menu under the 'Vegan' section, it DOES contain eggs (as some GF breads do), making it NOT vegan. He was also able to confirm for us that their new plant-based sausage (listed under 'Sides') IS gluten-free & vegan. We were kindly shown the ingredient lists of the products to see with our own eyes 🙌🏽 (wish all places did this!)
Considering this, we asked if we could instead have corn tortillas with our Vegan Breakfast Tofu Bowls since we couldn't do the GF bread, & Alex was happy to do that for us at no extra charge! He was also kind enough to offer us both a free iced tea while we waited on our to-go order, which was ready in less than 10 mins. We have not been treated so kindly in a restaurant in a long time & were so appreciative of the positive experience!
🤤 As for the food, it was amazing! & I say this as someone who is vegan/gluten-free, who cooks at home, who is always looking for & knows the struggle of finding GOOD, quality breakfast options that are worth the price & made for my dietary needs. For $17 the bowl was a generous, filling portion, the tofu was tastey & cooked just right, & everything else tasted hearty & homemade. I hoped there would be a bit more vegan cheese then there was, but otherwise everything was great (btw we added in the avocado at home, it isnt included) My wife & I were both delighted to say the least, & we can't wait to visit again & actually dine in!
We would absolutely recommend those who are vegan & GF come try this spot! Really nice atmosphere & so wonderful to see our fellow latinos setting the standard on hospitality in the restaurant industry 💙 Thank you & mucho amor to Sweet Toast Cafe!
I'm vegan but I don't like most vegan cheese. I cannot tell you what a hard time we have had trying to order a pizza with no cheese. The first 2 times, they still put cheese on it. The third time, they gave me a gluten free crust. I don't want a gluten free crust. Please stop trying to guess what I want and just give me a regular pizza, no cheese.
The food was very good and our waiter Aravind was genuinely wanting to make sure we enjoyed our meal. He was able to explain which dishes were safe for us as we have gluten and dairy allergies. The portions were better than most Indian restaurants we have been to as well.
The only Jersey Mike’s I feel comfortable ordering at as a celiac. At other stores, I get eye rolls and annoyance for letting them know I have celiac and need a gluten free sandwich. Went here today and the gentlemen that helped us was so kind and safe even though the store was so busy. I recommend this location, not only to those with an allergy but everyone.
Fogo de Chao Naperville never disappoints! We were here for my birthday celebration as well as Father’s Day. Our service was top tier and our servers (Tarea, Haret, & Chloe) always made sure we had everything we needed, our waters never reached empty, they answered any questions we had, very professional, kind, knowledgeable of the meats and ingredients in the other foods. The food was delicious as always, we have a family member that has a gluten allergy and she had many options when it came to the menu which was nice and accommodating. Such a wonderful lunch/brunch and great experience! Will definitely come again!
Yummy. Shared the grilled platter and the Sea Bass with my daughter. Sea Bass was melt-in- your-mouth delicious. Dedicated Gluten Free menu. Has Gluten Free table bread.
