Food is delicious. I don't typically eat sugar and sweets but one thing I very occasionally make an exception for is the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under! I have Celiac and love that it's gluten free! Plus a very decent gluten free menu. The manager, James, made sure the staff handled my meal properly and it's great when the manager goes above and beyond. Definitely appreciated and will be back!
Second visit and I love their sandwiches. Also love that I can get gluten free bread, not an allergy just a preference. The meats and veggies are really fresh, the service is very nice. Great stop for a fresh deli sandwich. Nicely packaged as a to go order also!
We had an amazing Father's Day BBQ experience today. We especially appreciated our fantastic and knowledgeable server Clayton who did a superb job navigating our requests and our food sensitivities ( great options for gluten-free). Very satisfied given I am a big saucy BBQ connoisseur- loved the ribs, wings, and brisket especially
First time eating here after passing it probably 1000 times. Really tasty food. Love that they have gluten free options. Had a gluten wrap with potato wedges. My only dislike was the potatoes needed more salt but luckily there was a shaker on the table :p
Great food. Decent prices and our waitress was amazing. Walked past several times, not intruding, but also eying the table to make sure we didn't need anything. And the food was sooo good. Gluten free buns, pizza and pasta.
Really impressed with how great the food is for a brewery. My wife has celiac disease and their menu had plenty of gluten free options. Of course the drinks were good too!
Great service with even better food! Our waitress Grace was amazing at her job, knew the menu very well. Made it a point to make sure my girlfriend who is gluten-free got exactly what she wanted and needed. The portion sizes are massive and the food is great! Would recommend to anyone and we will absolutely be back!
We went to Tavern on Clark for the 1st time tonight. The food was excellent! My girlfriend has a gluten allergy, and the waitstaff was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding that, which does not seem to be the case in most restaurants in the area. The waitstaff were totally on point, not missing a beat, regarding our entire dining experience. They have a good variety of selections to choose from, which can be from reasonably priced to higher end choices. All in all, we were totally satisfied and would highly recommend this as a spot to go to.
Gluten free buns available and whatever brand they use tastes like bread and holds together well (GF people know what I’m talking about). I had a roast beef with cheese on a GF bun and no detectable cross-contamination! Thank you it’s so appreciated to have tasty food that doesn’t make me sick.
Staff were nice and considerate.
Partner had not GF foods…bacon cheeseburger, fries and salted caramel shake and says the shake was WOW good and everything else was good. Overall very happy to have tried Beef A Roo. Look forward to traveling to the area and stopping again.
So me and my girlfriend came in to the restaurant today. I had to explain to the waitress that I had a severe gluten allergy and that nothing involving gluten could touch my food. she insured me that she would tell the cook. Needless to say within 20 minutes of leaving the restaurant I had a severe allergic reaction because of the food. Along with the horrible service that was provided by the waitress I will never ever go back to this restaurant again due to the simple fact that I ended up in the emergency room because people don’t listen
Don't go to this location if you have Celiac Disease. The employees who handled my order were rude and weren't knowledgeable about cross-contact or gluten-free protocol. They didn't make my sandwich in the back, nor did they wipe down the counter. Just put a piece of paper on it. Then, he proceeded to place the gluten-free bread on top of the counter where there were breadcrumbs. When I told them I couldn't use that anymore because it's contaminated, he was confused. What a shame.
