We visited here after the long walk we had round part of Sintra. Was super quick service and food was delicious. Traditional Portuguese and cozy atmosphere. I have coeliac disease, but the waiter advised what I could have off the menu. Most of the fish and meats were fine and there were a few starters. I had the pork and chips, which was really tasty, just not what I expected! The whistle also advised the chips were not fried in the same fryer as any gluten containing items. If we weren’t as tired as we were I think we would have appreciated this place even more, but it is also great if you just want a quick bite, but still have some good traditional Portuguese food.
Clean place, not very noisy, pleasant treatment, they have been quick to attend and serve, very tasty food and vegetarian and gluten-free options (for those intolerant).
After considering several options, eating here was a complete success. Good and filling food, good service and excellent location. In addition, practically the entire menu is gluten-free. Without a doubt, a place to return to!
As a party of 3 couples we had just spent much of the morning up the street at Quinta de Regaleira. On our walk back into town we came upon this place and given that we were tired, we just asked to be seated on their small outdoor patio. No regrets however on our impulse/hunger decision. It’s an upscale restaurant that is reasonably priced. They were able to quickly answer my wife’s questions about potential for cross contamination on their gluten free options. I had a delicious spicy pizza while my wife had a very satisfying mushroom risotto.
Now back from Sintra. We entered this fantastic place to have a coffee and I wanted to ask if they also had any gluten-free dessert options. I was thinking of something packaged but instead we were all pleasantly surprised: 5 different types of mini sweets (coconut, chocolate, orange etc...) delicious and at a more than excellent price. We returned in the afternoon to eat more. However, I am not celiac and I also wanted to try a typical Sintra dessert with ricotta and cinnamon. Everything was superb, excellent service and a waiter even speaks Italian! What can I say? Highly recommended this place, also for the savory food (bacalau croquettes) and for the espresso coffee! Compliments!!!!! ❤️

It is impeccable, it looks new. The location is ideal to get to know Sintra and Cascais. The biggest problem in Sintra is where to leave your car and at this hotel they solve it for you, they park it for you.
The breakfasts are very good, we were with a celiac patient and the person responsible for the breakfasts made sure that we had gluten-free cocoa, bread, pastries and any other product such as bacon and that there were no traceability problems. In short, a hotel of 10, congratulations to all the staff and staff

Incredible! They’ve got really good meat and fish options. They have a great gluten free fried cuddle fish that was dope! Their desserts are top notch. Not to mention the two who run the restaurant will make you feel like you’re visiting old friends in their home! 💕
It's not the first time I've been to Casa Piriquita. They have the best pillows and cheesecake, with impeccable service. This time, after years, I have gluten and dairy intolerance. The lady who served us kindly presented me with a menu with all the sweets and savory items in the house and possible allergens. This demonstrates a level of care for customer service that I have never seen before. Congratulations, for serving each and every one!!! I left very satisfied and the orange pudding was divine!!!
