Great discovery!
A super cozy setting, super welcoming staff and a gourmet menu!
We like the VG and gluten-free options available, the throws on the chairs on the terrace.
I have come several times, at lunchtimes and in the evenings, I am never disappointed! The dishes are good, copious, well prepared, the staff is charming and adapts to exceptional requests (a gluten-free person for our group) when they are notified in advance, the setting is pleasant and the prices very reasonable… I recommend, I'll be back !
Great cafe with some fantastic options for Gluten free Yummy almond friande and sweet coconut scone 😋 large coffees I grabbed some takeaways too Tiramisu GF made in house
THE best gluten-free pastry we have ever tasted. Paris Brest, chocolate éclair, flan.... We are from Gironde and frankly we would love to bring you in our suitcases.

We went for lunch as it had been recommended to us.
We ordered 2 different crepes and both were delicious. The IPA beer was also excellent.
The fact that they have gluten-free options is wonderful. The atmosphere is pleasant, quiet, and the service was friendly and fast.
My favorite Indian restaurant
A readable and explanatory menu, well-marked gluten- or lactose-free options, tasty dishes, a charming setting and pleasant service
A pleasant place, a warm welcome, and quality products, which are gluten-free to boot. I recommend this place to anyone allergic or intolerant to gluten. (But not only that...)
Nice, quiet and peaceful place with excellent savory dishes, really delicious, ideal for those who have allergies (lactose, gluten) and we chatted for a few moments with the manager and we were in a hurry, we asked her for advice on the region and the activities around, but she was really super nice from start to finish... ultra patient despite all our questions (she could have told us that she was not a tourist guide but she was so kind that she took the time for that) She is an interesting lady and very open-minded! But some comments are really incomprehensible... there is really no problem with the ice cubes and what is this "stroller gang" who wants to impose their law? We will come back as soon as we are in the city again
A very good brunch with a super cool decor! The recipes are original, with good vegetarian and gluten-free options. Special mention for the honey halloumi, a delight! The restaurant is spacious, so it's easy to find a seat. The only downside: the service is a bit slow. But overall, a great place to discover!
Great choice of takeaway meals, ideal for a creative picnic. It's a change from sandwiches.
And in particular gluten-free and lactose-free.
Beautiful and good.
The place is nice and I would go back, but I was shocked by the fact that together with a crossed-out menu (gluten free) they brought me normal bread and therefore gluten-free. However, I must say that in general, being used to Italy, I found that in this area of France there is not much knowledge and sensitivity to the problem.
We had a wonderful 3 course meal here. Great gluten free options. You could have as many courses as you liked. I had poached egg in a red wine sauce with bacon and shallots to start, sausage and potatoes for main and cheese for pudding. They were very aware of allergies as well as coeliac and I felt very safe throughout. The wine was also delicious
So adorable!
We were welcomed like princes.
For those with gluten intolerance top.
Babies are also very well received and the pancakes are excellent!
Great service
Thank you very much we will come back ☺️
Terrible service and mediocre food. Long waits for both food and drinks, so our party were not able to eat together. Dietary needs ignored. Gluten free pizza bases looked bought in. Food orders delivered wrongly, so further delays. No apology given, they couldn’t care less. Would not recommend.
A great family lunch. We loved every dish. The owner invests 100% in her dishes, her welcome and, most importantly for us, gluten-free… We had a great time 🙏🏻
The setting is also sumptuous and decorated with great taste 🥰
We had a great time in your restaurant. The pizzas were tasty and the dough was good.
We particularly appreciated the possibility of ordering gluten-free pasta (+3€ optional), which is rare and very appreciated. The prices are very fair. We will come back with pleasure!

We had a very good experience at this place. We are both gluten-free and appreciated that several items were marked gluten-free. We both enjoyed our meals with no problems.
Every city should have its own Kia Ora. 😍It's always a treat to stop by for lunch or to enjoy their Saturday brunch! You can tell the products are high-quality, and the recipes, always very original and delicious, are accessible to many special diets (veggie, vegan, gluten-free). The welcome and service are always warm, and I look forward to the recipe for the ephemeral cookie every month, even though I enjoy all the others in the meantime, which are, in my opinion, among the best cookies in town! 🤤
Thank you and congratulations for your expertise and your smiles! ☺️🍪
Took myself down to Materr for dinner my last evening in Lyon. And it was one of my favourite moments. The owner is lovely - she accommodated my gluten free needs and was wonderful to chat to! The dish I had was delicious. I sat outside and the ambience was beautifully peaceful. Would definitely recommend a visit!
By far our favourite place to eat, either as a couple or as a family. Fantastic food including gluten-free options and friendly service.
The children's menu has disappeared but they do child portions if you ask.
Essential place for celiacs in Lyon. I found it very difficult to eat gluten free in the city. Luckily there was the crêperie d'Amélie that made gluten-free galettes, both sweet and savory.
Very good. Pancakes, for example banoffee or this month cherry praline coulis, are irresistible and available gluten-free. The drinks are delicious in winter and summer. Everything is homemade and it shows. The dishes are always balanced and nourishing. The service is incredible, responsive, with a sincere effort to make the moment pleasant for the customer.
2 minor downsides: some chairs are recycled (great for the environment) but that means chairs that are a little less comfortable (smaller/hard). There can sometimes be a bit of a wait because there are often people and a busy staff. Important to book in advance if possible.
I go there every week. Never disappointed
Been here twice dan;t fault it, drinks and food are great a good choice aswell would be great for families. the addition of gluten free buns is appreciated too...
We came because my partner is celiac and we were pleased to see that the restaurant has adapted to offer her a complete menu (with at least two choices of starter, main course and dessert). The dishes were tasty, plentiful and the team was very welcoming with a smile. THANKS !
Excellent address! Unbeatable value for money, a menu that's always sophisticated and delicious, and plenty of gluten-free and lactose-free options. Delicious ❤️ everything is perfect!
Ideal for treating yourself at an unbeatable price!
The best.
We ate very well, especially our son, who is intolerant to gluten and cow's milk protein.
A very good family evening.
One small problem: the music was a little too loud.
But otherwise, nothing to complain about.
We had a great time at La Théothèque! The cuisine is delicious and it’s a joy to be able to find such good gluten-free products! The staff is warm and very welcoming. We were able to enjoy the terrace, it was pure joy. The decor is really beautiful and I really fell in love with their tableware. Thank you for this moment, we will come back with great pleasure!
We spent one night in Lyon looking for a vegetarian restaurant with gluten-free food and found Le Grand Liban. We made a reservation directly through Google, as it was specifically listed there. We walked through the old town and found such a cute little restaurant with affordable Lebanese delicacies. The staff spoke excellent English, and we tried the entire menu. The appetizers, both cold and hot, all cost around €8.90-€11, and they were absolutely delicious. It was really cool that everything was clearly labeled, indicating whether it was vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, etc. The four of us had eight appetizers, tea, and a dessert for €81, and we can highly recommend it. Thank you for the delicious evening.

Tiny neat restaurant with a lovely decoration has Lots of veggie options, well-described menu with all details about Gluten, Végétarian and Dairy even spice rating and a good wine list.
The ceiling is a bit low and all the tables were close to each, so it was pretty noisy. And it took us 20min to order our foods. (no one came to our table) But foods were absolutely tasty!
We strongly recommand Chou-Fleur Manchurian and Kathrika Masla. Garlic Naan and Cheese Naan were great as well. Hope to have a butter naan in the futur. :)
A really great discovery in Annecy, vegan, organic and very gluten-free, bravo! The dishes are tasty and very well presented and the welcome was top-notch, in short, we loved it and we'll be back!
Calm atmosphere, pretty decoration, fast service, meal suitable for gluten-free people, very tasty and very enjoyable, very good products, well crafted and well presented. We had a great evening!
We had dinner in this restaurant with a warm atmosphere. It is better to book for the first or second service as it is very popular and there are few tables. The Flemish carbonade, the Savoyard salad, the tartiflette and the gluten-free penne were very good, as were the desserts.
