Make reservations well in advance! This location was near the London Palladium where we were seeing a show. It is very important to note that Dishoom is very serious about allergens, but not all locations have the same dishes. The Carnaby location is a bit limited on its GF entree choices. Because of my husband’s many preferences plus GF needs, he felt his only choice was the Mutton Pepper Fry, which ended up being tender and delicious. There were more side and small plates that were GF or could be modified. The Carnaby location is in a bustling pedestrian area that is bustling with bars, pubs, and shopping. Our reservation was early so we had time to walk through Carnaby and into Piccadilly before our show.
Specific note: if you have airborne wheat allergies, the bathrooms are in the basement and you must walk through the naan baking section and flour is abundant. It’s cool to watch unless you’re allergic.

We visited this beautiful restaurant on Sunday the 26th January. We were booked in for dinner and very much looking forward to a roast dinner after a soggy and cold day at the zoo.
Upon arrival we were welcomed into the restaurant by the manager. Upon checking our booking the table was checked and we were shown to our seats.
The restaurant had a lovely friendly and warming atmosphere, the rooms were lovely and warm.
Shortly after sitting down , our drinks order was taken and they arrived shortly after.
I myself am coeliac, I also cannot have dairy or soya . I mentioned this to the waitress , who checked straight away with the chef what they could cook for me to meet my dietary requirements.
To my amazement I could have the roast beef dinner!
There was a great selection on the menu for normal and for gluten free needs. I was very happy with the choices available to me, even with additional allergies. Also the children’s menu had plenty of options, we took 3 children with us.
The food arrived in good time and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing! The beef was cooked to perfection and the dinner was to a very high standard.
The children’s meals were good size portions and the kids loved them.
We enjoyed the food so much that we had puddings also. Yes they even had a pudding that was gluten, dairy and soya free! I had a sticky toffee sponge with dairy free ice cream. It was amazing, I don’t usual go out for a meal where I can be catered for especially for pudding as well.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our meal out and will definitely be dining again. It was faultless and the staff were all very friendly and attentive.
Thank you for being an inclusive restaurant and making our Sunday lunch an enjoyable one.

My husband and I had a great experience at Bills. Our waitress Dora was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and was incredibly helpful when it came to helping me with my allergies. They have an entire gluten free menu which was incredible and made me feel very safe eating there. I got the vegan and gluten free pancakes and they were delicious. We went here earlier today 15/06/25 and it was really nice. Hubby is gluten free and most of the menu is coeliac friendly which is fab. Portions are good and a good selection on the menu - quite a lot of chilli so if you are not a fan choose wisely.
Staff lovely- we were served by Eileen who was very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable of any dietary requirements.
My only one issue is that it was really chilly - make sure you have a jumper/ jacket even if it is 18 degrees outside.

We just had the most incredible experience for dinner. I have celiac and I’m allergic to nuts so it was truly amazing to eat at a nut free and gluten free restaurant! While it is pricey, it is well worth it. Everything was incredible and the service was great. I would not think twice about going here. My favourite place for fish & chips in the UK I moved to the seaside in the South West and I still haven’t found Fish & chips as good as 149!
