The food was excellent, (an amazing range of options for such a small operation) and prepared with real care. Excellent provision for gluten-free (cross-contamination caution). Staff and service was warm and accommodating. A wall display of superb photographs shows the stunning local scenery at its best (and are for sale). We were able to reserve tables. If we lived nearer we'd be regulars.

Location, excellent. Wonderful building. Food, second to none, apart, maybe, for the triple-cooked chips. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely holiday. Should have added that they have a very good gluten-free menu!

Have eaten here many times over the years, and never disappointed! As a Coeiliac eating out is tricky and often anxiety inducing, but never had an issue getting something gluten free here, and best of all no reaction afterwards from cross contamination. Staff are welcoming and accommodating, thereâs always a great range of food on offer, locks for the bike racks too, so you donât have to worry about someone walking off with your bike while you have one of their amazing milkshakes! The cafe also organise a great range of rides, it really is a welcoming and inclusive place with a lovely atmosphere đ

Great pub for food and a beer. Dog and child friendly, with a great selection of food for all ages (this includes smaller larger plates on the main menu).
We had a gluten free and dairy free diner and all were catered for easily and the food was no less delicious.
Pies looked amazing, but can recommend the Calver fried chicken and the Schwarma

Everything was excellent, reception, room, service, location. One tiny exception there was no Gluten free alternatives for breakfast, but we were able to go over the road and enjoy GF breakfast and get refund. Perhaps a selection in the annex would be good. Apart from that minor point everything was excellent.

Fantastic food for all 5 of us, 6 if you include the dog. Good choice for vegetarians, meat eaters, and also really good gluten-free choices. Service was friendly and efficient. We'll be back!
