On the plus side, it has a separate menu for both gluten-free and vegetarian options, which is a real plus.
The reason I'm not giving it more stars is because the waitresses aren't very friendly and the place is smoky, leaving the (unpleasant) smell on your clothes. On the other hand, the gluten-free noodle dish didn't contain any noodles, and the menu didn't mention it.
Right next door to the Ulister Hall, this chic and hip cafe is eye-catching and attention getting right from the outside glass windows to all the art walls. The service was great. The staff was friendly and the gluten-free scone, which we couldn't find anywhere else in all of Ireland, was delicious. It's baked fresh daily on-site and comes with jam and clotted cream.
This is my all time favorite for gluten free breakfast in Belfast. Their vegan gluten free fry is delicious and super filling. I have gluten and dairy allergies and this place caters for both, 10/10.
atmosphere is very nice and relaxing with low lighting, the food was phenomenal!! we ordered lots of food and shared between us and everything tasted great. they even have a variety gluten free and vegan options. service was amicable and attentive.
Very nice restaurant, top service, super tasty food! They have a separate gluten free menu with a huge selection. A ceoliac's dream.
Moderate prices, big portions. Absolute recommendation, especially for ppl in need of a gluten free diet.
We eat here regularly and it's always great. The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious! They also have an amazing gluten-free selection which is hard to find in most places. Excellent spot for some cocktails as well.
Great coeliac options on the menu and food was lovely but slightly overpriced.
The music is way too loud, we felt like we were at a gay nightclub!! Also way too brightly lit for evening service, not very relaxing at all.
Some of the team were super lovely but our waiter didn't really look as though they wanted to be there, either new or couldn't be bothered which spoiled the meal a little.
I feel like some of the team need better training in order to offer a better experience
Staying in Newcastle and we looked for a coeliac friendly takeaway and found The Galley. Staff could not have been more helpful in making sure our order was perfect and went above and beyond. Got two gluten free goujon meals and the food was incredible, the best gluten free chippy we've ever had with lovely gravy to go with it. Could not recommend more
Excellent restaurant for any event or dining type. Such a cool and chilling vibe in this restaurant and what really exceeded my expectations was the selection of gluten free choices on the menu from all pasta to pizzas. I would simply come here again based on that! 10/10
Couple on a Friday night. Never disappointed with Gatto's! My husband had fish and chips which he said was delicious and I had an excellent gluten free pizza followed by a pannacotta. Their coffee is also really good. The staff are lovely and there's always a great atmosphere.
Wonderful wagu burger and fries! They were very accommodating and got me a gluten-free bun to have with my burger!
Would recommend to anyone. Great buzz too and happy customers.
Fantastic place and staff. Lots of vegan and gluten free and seem to cater for any diet need. Delicious food. The tempura veg and the nut roast were great.
Beautiful meal and very attentive staff even the chef checked my meal was OK for me as I'm gluten free. Very good food and quality. Portions for even the biggest appetite can't wait to return
Ordered gluten free dough balls for 4 servings, I was sent 10 dough balls. Have ordered this before and it was a ton of them. This time not so much. Charged 15 pounds for 10 small balls of bread. Totally ridiculous and the phone number to contact the store is not working. Very disappointed.
If you are vegetarian or gluten free or both, like me, this is a great option for you in Bushmills. We got takeout for breakfast and came back and dined in for lunch! A man who seemed to be in charge was very attentive to answering my menu questions. For lunch I had the melted goat cheese sandwich on delicious GF bread- washed down with a GF beer. My husband had a seafood salad
And my grandson had the smash burger. We all enjoyed our meals.
Great service and wonderful food. As a coeliac it's hard to trust places to not make you ill, but I had every confidence in these guys and they didn't disappoint. The garlic potatoes are a must and I can't stop thinking about them🐽
This was such a great find in this beautiful Irish town. I am Celiac and had no trouble eating here. They were aware of the necessary precautions and even used separate gloves and stations. I had the bacon, goat cheese toastie with the jalapeño chutney and their house-made slaw. I ate every bite because it was so delicious. I also go the gf chocolate caramel bar and a vanilla matcha latte.
Portion sizes are more than generous and food is prepared to a very high standard. Nicest breakfast we've had in a long time and they cater to gluten-free requirements. The nicest GF scone I've had. All staff were a pleasure to deal with but Josephine in particular was so attentive and ensured we had refills on our tea ❤️
Shared a meal with my daughter who is gluten and dairy intolerant. Staff very helpful and well prepped with a separate menu created by the chef who himself is gluten intolerant. I had the penne pasta chilli chicken which was beautiful and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her gluten free burger and chips. Now at the top of our list to visit when we meet up.
While the food was delicious, the views spectacular and the service excellent, it strikes me as strange that they can't supply mushrooms or a 'oven roasted tomato' with a steak meal when you tell them you are dairy and gluten intolerant. Surely a little bit of oil and a frying pan would be available in a commercial kitchen. So I am guessing they just couldn't be bother accommodating food intolerance requirements fully.
Not a great experience.
2 of our party of 4 are Coeliacs and we were all looking forward to our meal.
Our first disappointment came when I was informed that there were no gluten free starters...the server spent some time checking the allergy sheet then consulted someone in the kitchen.
My daughter had gluten free pasta which was ok...but not great.
I had a GF pizza which was nice although slightly undercooked.
We wanted to order aa second bottle of Pellegrino but they'd run out...it was on our bill but they agreed to remove it.
All in all it was disappointing amd we'd travelled 40 miles to eat there.
The food here was absolutely wonderful, and we really enjoyed getting a taste of the local cuisine. Since my partner is a very sensitive Coeliac, we made sure to inform the restaurant when booking—and I’m happy to say we were incredibly well taken care of.
The well-informed staff were kind and attentive, guiding us through the menu and pointing out what was safe to order. While they were upfront about the general risks of cross-contamination (since the food is prepared in the same kitchen), they went above and beyond to reassure us. They double-checked everything with the kitchen, made sure separate cookware and fryers were used, and handled everything with real care. They even adapted certain dishes to be gluten-free for us.
My partner had absolutely no symptoms after the meal, which further confirms the level of care and precautions the restaurant took on our behalf.
Highly, highly recommend this spot if you're looking for delicious food with genuinely thoughtful service (gluten-free or otherwise).
This is the 2nd time my niece & I have been here. The food is amazing & very good value 4 the price. Thankfully they have a great selection of gluten free options. Staff r friendly & the service is very quick. I will definitely b here again 😋💕
modern bright interior, with friendly staff, we had booked our table and was actually quite busy when we arrived. Menu was great with quite a selection for those who need gluten free options, and a separate specials selection available too, and bar for those with a thirst.
I must say I was really impressed with the variety, presentation of our food and portion size and would definitely recommend Zinc as a destination for a decent meal at reasonable cost
I have come to this restaurant thanks to Google because they have food gluten free. We had two pizzas with no gluten and they were very good. Next time I'm around Cookstown I'll come back to this place. Nice staff and good atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant

Delicious three course gluten free Christmas dinner. Very attentive staff and attention to detail. They even brought me a separate gluten free shortbread portion after the meal.
I almost forgot (during lockdown) how much we LOVE Nandos!! It's not just chicken and chips!! Major Added Bonus, as a coeliac, I've never been contaminated here 😍🥰🥳🤩
Always a wonderful place to eat, enjoyable food and always brilliant service. Very good catering towards gluten intolerant customers, they brought out a tablet with all allergen information listed.
Fantastic Experience at Zizzi!
Had an amazing time at Zizzi — the Calzone Picante and Gluten free Pepperoni Pizza were delicious, thanks to the great chef Jan! The service was equally impressive, with a wonderful waitress who was friendly and attentive. Special shout-out to Seb the barman for his excellent drinks and great energy. Highly recommend!
