We picked this restaurant as we have a coeliac daughter, so we needed gluten-free options. We were not disappointed, as the menu offers various gf alternatives and the food is really tasty. Overall good value for money given the location, I'd happily go back. Also a dog-friendly place.

The brunch was well priced and exquisite despite being quite simple. The hashbrowns were outstanding, they were deep fried and had the smallest amount of spice added to them. That avocado was not Overpowered by lime, but it was actually well seasoned and freshly created. The bread was perfectly toasted. My wife is able to get good gluten-free bread for her bacon sandwich
We took home some pastries were out of this world .
This place is not just for the locals Or coffee enthusiast but for everyone.

I wouldn’t recommend this place, the service was quite bad almost rude at times. I ordered the bolognese with gluten free spaghetti. The spaghetti looked like someone had cut it as it was too short to twirl, I thought they were playing a prank. Apperantly it’s because the gluten free version they use is so brittle it breaks while cooking. The sauce itself wasn’t terrible but not restaurant worthy. I would avoid because underwhelming experience and if you’re unlucky certain waiters/waitresses have terrible tableside manner.
The food was really nice. Lots of gluten free options. I had the curry and it was my favourite curry ever. The rice really complemented it. The food was also well priced.
We stayed at the Applegarth from the 7th until 10th of May 2024.The room was fantastic and very spacious with a pleasant view. All the staff were excellent. We were very impressed with the food. I have a gluten free diet and they catered for all my needs, and a special mention for the chef who made gluten free cookies for me to have in the room.We had a wonderful stay and look forward to our next visit. Great dinner spot, food and drinks were fresh and delicious. Catered to food allergies, gluten free which was great. Staff were so friendly and made a fun night, worth a visit!
