We stayed at the Applegarth from the 7th until 10th of May 2024.The room was fantastic and very spacious with a pleasant view. All the staff were excellent. We were very impressed with the food. I have a gluten free diet and they catered for all my needs, and a special mention for the chef who made gluten free cookies for me to have in the room.We had a wonderful stay and look forward to our next visit. Beautiful rooms, amazing food suitable for many dietary requirements including coeliac. Quiet location, short walk to local shops etc. Stones throw from many beautiful walks and Windermere lake. Alan and the team are absolutely fantastic!
