The gluten free options are amazing. The tuna sandwich has been fantastic each time so it’s kept me from trying other things because I enjoy it so much. Their coffee is great, both the normal espresso and decaf! The homemade syrups are wonderful
The counter ordering service was great, as was the food being brought out quickly. The decor is simple, but I loved the family history picture wall. The food was very good. I was very pleased to see gluten free pizza options. My granddaughter really enjoyed her pizza and fries. My fried zucchini was wonderful, as were the meatballs. They also had a great selection of fountain drinks.
My new go-to burger spot. The steakhouse burger (with gluten free bun) was phenomenal, as all the flavors came together into one delicious bite. This was all complimented brilliantly by the sweet tots, which I highly recommend. The classic buffalo wings were also fantastic. Service was pristine, and the atmosphere was calm for the time I went (a July Sunday at noon), which worked for me— I wasn’t looking for a super amped up spot. I’m sure NFL Sundays and college football gamedays are more packed. I’ll be back!
Really enjoyed the food here! We’ve lived near by for years and finally decided to try it out since we had some guests in town but really recommend. Very quick service for pickup and really tasty. Even have gluten free options! Will definitely be eating here again!
Top 5 pizza places in AZ, I'm currently on a gluten free diet, their gluten free pizza was great, it still has the classic Barros taste. 10 inch for 9.99
The pizza is amazing always. Tombstone IPA For the win. We do the cheeburger cheeburger pizza, and we add jalapenos to this and it makes it such a delightful Tangy treat. I don't remember seeing this on the menu but they do offer gluten-free pizzas in the small size. Also their oven baked chicken wings are actually amazing. They have a lot of different beers on tap not just the tombstone, they have a special IPA that is apparently brewed just for them from what I'm understanding and it's called the red eye and that was absolutely worth a try as well. I cannot tell you how many different combinations of pizza this place has and I love them all. They have the meat lovers and that's always a win for me. We definitely want to get more adventurous and try some of the other ones but for now we are sticking to the basics that we know and trying all the different varieties of beer that they have available.
I tried Gyro House 32 for the first time and was definitely disappointed. The gyro had plenty of meat in it but it had so many little bits of nerve and fat and bone, which I've never experienced before in a gyro. With every single bite I had to pick out multiple pieces of nerve and fat out of my mouth and it made the whole experience really really unpleasant. I found myself just wanting to take the meat out and just eat the pita by itself because eating the meat was such a gross experience.
The spinach triangles and falafel both had a very strong dirty oil flavor to them and it's very easy to picture them being cooked in very old dirty dark brown oil. It made the whole thing taste really gross. Other than that, the spinach triangles just taste like spinach. They don't really seem to have any kind of depth of flavor or seasoning. The falafel was very dry and has a tart lemony flavor which I wasn't expecting and was not the most pleasant experience.
On a positive note - The actual pita bread itself is fluffy and soft and thick and tastes amazing. It's perfect. It's exactly what pita should be.
The baklava is the best baklava I've ever had. It's even better than my homemade baklava and that's pretty good. This baklava has such a perfect balance of sweet and crunchy with a delicate undertone of... is that saffron? Orange blossom water? I'm not sure but it's worth driving there just for the baklava.
However the real star of the show is their chocolate cake. They have a gluten-free chocolate cake and a regular piece of chocolate cake - the gluten-free is not a bad choice, it is good... but their regular chocolate cake slice is the best chocolate cake I've ever had in my entire life. It has a layer of dark chocolate ganache on top, followed by a nice thick layer of silky chocolate mousse, followed by a layer of chocolate cake, followed by a thinner layer of chocolate mousse, followed by an Oreo cookie crust. It is by far the best thing I've eaten probably in my life. Wow. Absolutely incredible. I just wish their food matched the stellar quality of that cake... but so few things in life can.
The food I give a one star, but their cake and baklava, definite five stars. Definitely worth a drive over just for their desserts.
BEST Chicken Caesar Salad and Gluten Free Pizza in town! New Watermelon Gelato is so delicious. Must try the Chocolate, Chai, Oreo, Banana, Coconut, and Sugar Free.
Diana and Alex are the best and friendliest, coupled with amazing service! The food is consistently delicious and they are gluten and soy allergy friendly, just let your server know.
As many of us are trying to do, it is to eat healthier and cleaner and that's often not easy, especially while traveling. This place was such a nice surprise. I went there with friends when and while it took me a minute to figure out what to order I ended up going with the steak which was cooked perfectly, the parmesan broccoli and the gluten free mac and cheese. Both of the sides were fantastic and the mac and cheese for gluten free was shockingly good. You could''t tell the difference. This place is a really nice surprise and the quality of food feels like a great deal for the price. The staff was friendly and really good about answering any questions about the menu.
Am a Celiac and ended up at this place after a girls night out. I let the waitress know about my sensitivity and she went back to the kitchen to ask. Originally she had offered their gluten free pizza, but upon returning she let me know that the chef recommended the antipasto salad. She ensured they would change all the cutting boards and knives to avoid cross contamination. ( This is what I call great service!)
I had the best salad I had not eaten in a while and did not get sick at all.
The other ladies had pasta, wings, and pizza. They too said their food was amazing and so were the drinks.
Do not eat here if you have food allergies. They will do absolutely nothing to accommodate them while your party gets to eat. Won’t even offer to wash a cutting board in between. Shouldn’t even bother offing “gluten friendly options” if the server says there’s extremely high chance of cross contamination. Very sad and disappointing experience.
Easy to find from the street. Prompt and friendly service. Clean and spacious dining room. Delicious food at competitive prices. Gluten friendly options. A very enjoyable experience!
