The Detroit pizza with old and new world pepp was unbelievable! Zesty sauce but nothing that led to heartburn or bothered the kids. This is the best pizza i have ever had thats more deep dish in last 12 yrs since celiac! Super fun vibey place! And incredibly reasonable. Get 4 slices for gf and i coupd only eat 2 fyi. The family salad with homemade ranch is the BEST!!

This place is amazing! My server Paulina was super nice and helpful! The drinks were great and the food was amazing. So cheap for food of such amazing quality, I will definitely be back! Also I noticed they had quite a few gluten free menu items!

The food was absolutely excellent. The service was absolutely excellent. The view was absolutely excellent. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars in every single category is that I did mention I have a gluten allergy, and there was one small gluten item that was missed in the dessert that I ordered. Otherwise, the staff was very proactive and swapped out gluten-free options without my direction throughout the meal. And once again, all the food was wonderful.

We celebrated a birthday at Zuzu this past Saturday night with a party of 8, and I can't say enough good things about this downtown Detroit restaurant. Having made our reservation a full month in advance, we knew we were in for something special and Zuzu absolutely delivered. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The valet parking made our evening stress-free, which is always appreciated when dining downtown with a larger group. But what truly made the night memorable was the exceptional service and absolutely incredible food. We decided to order family style to maximize our opportunity to explore the menu, and I'm so glad we did. Honestly, there wasn't a single dish that disappointed. The kitchen clearly takes pride in their craft, and it shows in every bite. What impressed me even more was how accommodating they were for dietary restrictions. One member of our party follows a gluten-free diet, and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful in ensuring there were plenty of delicious options available. No one felt left out or limited in their choices. This is easily a 10 out of 10 experience, and we're already planning our return visit. If you're looking for an outstanding dining experience in downtown Detroit, Zuzu should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended for special occasions, date nights, or any time you want to treat yourself to something truly special. Would I recommend? Absolutely – without hesitation! Will I return? We had an amazing dinner. The food is consistently high quality. The service can be a bit slow sometimes but the servers are knowledgeable, friendly and always very accommodating with dietary restrictions. Our server this time was incredible and made really great food and drink recommendations. My partner has celiac’s and we’ve never had any issues, they’re always very careful to talk to the kitchen. Highly recommend the sea bass and lamb shank. Beautiful decor and ambiance.
