I am celiac and it was a wonderful experience! Our server Valerie was so knowledgeable and sweet! They have so many gluten free and vegan options! I was very impressed! The food was absolutely amazing!! I got the chicken skewers and the fries. I can't wait to try all of the other gluten free options! I found my new favorite restaurant!
Cute place. Friendly staff. Good service. The food was good. But not great. Nothing was "wow that's good, I will be back". It was $30 with tax and tip. I had an omelet with sweet potato hash browns, 2 sausage links, and gluten free toast. Hot cocoa to drink. For a $30 breakfast, I want to be wowed.
Yum! Best Italian food in Springfield! The Ziti is my favorite. The meat is so tender and it's a delicious dish. They have a gluten-free bread option, gluten-free pizza, and gluten-free pasta. It's a safe environment for those of us with gluten issues. It's also vegetarian friendly.
I love First Watch when I want a good gluten free breakfast (they can’t technically says it’s gluten free but when you tell them it’s for an allergy, they actually understand & prepare it safely).
The food is so fresh and flavorful. It’s always packed food good reason.
This time I tried the summer menu with the Carnitas Breakfast Tostadas. The flavor combination is excellent. Especially the Tajin on fruit which I had never had before.
The person with me got the Farmhouse Hash & enjoyed it.
UPDATE: Management offered no help with this issue. So be prepared to not be able to eat 95% of the buffet for FULL PRICE and not be able to take home the specially made gluten free PERSONAL PAN PIZZA unless you want to spend another $7 on a takeout box. So MEAL TOTAL FOR GLUTEN FREE PEOPLE IS $20 with no real choices for sides or dessert.
I am a gluten free customer. I paid full price for their buffet and happy to learn they will make a cauliflower gluten free crust pizza on request for those with gluten intolerance. What has totally angered me is that they want to charge me an ADDITIONAL $7 for a to gobox! Where id the sense in that? They cannot serve my leftover pizza to anyone else. They made a pizza that is obviously too big for any normal person to ear in one sitting. I cannot eat 90% of what is on theirbuffet bar to begin with. This is extremely poor service and a ridiculous policy given that it was a special order due to a food allergy. I will never eathere again and tell all my friends and post this on all gluten free sites. This is not a gluten free friendly place. I can understand not allowing takeout from the buffet line, but this is a different circumstance. And $7 for a togo box! Highway Robbery!
Excellent service and delicious food. May never have tried Vietnamese without my celiac diagnosis. So many new dishes to explore. Everything that is gluten free is clearly labeled on the menu. My son got pho which I uploaded a picture of as well but it isn’t gluten free. I had the shrimp and bbq bún and we each started with a spring roll. Fish sauce is ok, but peanut sauce is not.
I got the Cesar wrap and omg it was good! I would have liked a little less lettuce so I’ll order it like that next time so no biggie! The fries were also so tasty!! I’ll probably order extra cheese on those next time too cause I really loved the taste of them! Over all 5 stars even with what I would have changed! And to see that they have Gluten Free options? Yes!
Absolutely phenomenal food! Server was very helpful and accommodating. Had the carne asada hash and raspberry ricotta french toast on Gluten Free bread. Both are seasonal items. Also indulged in the Blue Booster Juice. Good Gluten free options here . We waited maybe 15 -20 minutes for a table.
Gluten sensitive friendly, and everything on the buffet was labeled if it was vegan or gluten sensitive. Very attentive staff, eager to please and serve. Clean environment. Wonderful layout, BEST idea ever.... Italian Buffet! In LOVE!
Recommend giving this place a try!!
Donut shop off of Sunshine with inside seating and a drive through. There are a variety of flavors several dairy free and gluten free options. The inside of the shop has a cool, colorful decoration. A fun place to stop for dessert.
If you are gluten-free, especially if you react badly, check your order. Out of 3 times, I've gotten a wheat bun, even when I stressed gf. Tonite, the team lead was really huffy (literally huffed) when I brought my hamburger back and asked him to fix it.
Our server Aiyana was amazing! She was able to answer all of our questions, including helping us with the gluten free options. She was kind and quick. Also, the food was incredible! Something for everyone, and extremely tasty! This is for sure a hidden gem!
I have celiac and my waitress was able to get what I wanted in a way that would work for my diet and it was wonderful. Thank you Wanda for being the best at accommodating!
I'm happy with this place because they have gluten-free buns! It's hard to find burger places that have that. So, if you are gluten-free and craving a burger, go here. And their fudge sundae, oh my yum!
Their bacon mac was creamy & delicious. We also had the burnt end potato and it was amazing! They also have gluten free macaroni! Olivia was so helpful.
This is my 3rd time stopping in for food from Jimms! I cannot say it enough, ANYONE with a gluten allergy CAN safely eat in or get TOGO food.
The food is SO fresh and all tastes amazing!
If you have not been... PLEASE GO! 💖
P.S. There is gluten free Chocolate Gelato for dessert! #lucky
My family and I really enjoyed the vibes! We were grateful for the gluten free options as it’s not always easy to find yummy things when you have to be restrictive. The food was fresh and fun! Overall I think it’s a great casual dining option for Springfield.
Amazing people serving super delicious food! Good options for gluten free, diary free, and vegetarian diets.

Although I love all the shrimp dishes, since I'm celiac I go for the shrimp scampi and the coffee is so delicious. I love the biscuits but cant eat them. A gluten free option would be nice.

This place is so good. The food is so good. The gluten free options make it great for everyone in my family. If you are looking for good food at a great price this is the place.
The first time we visited we asked the waitress about gluten free options and the owner came out and talked to us extensively about what we needed. What he brought out was perfect and then he brought out another dish (a different creation) just for us to try. He did not charge us for it, although it has paid off in spades for him as we've been there almost weekly since our first visit. Hands down the best Asian cooking in Springfield. My wife used to get moo goo gai pan from another place on Sunshine (for years, probably 20+) and she now refers to the moo goo from that place as the amateur version. Amazin has the best hot sour soup I've ever had. Always delicious, the staff is always super friendly. I can't speak to delivery because we always dine in but it is excellent every single time.
Fun place and good atmosphere. Good place to take the family to go eat, plenty of options. They will also accommodate allergies, gluten friendly options, but not Celiac Friendly.
Outstanding service! Also, most items are gluten-free or gluten-friendly, which is important for my wife. These guys work hard to please, and that's a homerun! I'm all about the brisket, which wasn't as good today as usual... the meat wasn't hot and it was tough. Otherwise, outstanding.
Our waitress, Erica, at Big Whiskeys in Springfield MO on Battlefield was excellent! Best wait staff I've had in a very long time. She was very attentive and sweet. Knew about gluten-free and offered before we even asked! Food (fish and chips, dinner salads, ceasar salad with grilled chicken) was very good.
This was the 1st time I have eaten Fazoli's in 20 years because of being misdiagnosed with celiacs, I can enjoy that amazingness that comes with those outstanding bread sticks....
Their gluten free pizza is my favorite in town! My only complaint about McSalty's is that they need to update their decor, website, etc... It's been the exact same for years.
I cannot believe just found out about this place!! Absolutely loved it!! Had the seafood boil and the seasoning is absolutely perfect! Went another time and they made me gluten free cornmeal only fried catfish and fried okra...huge treat for me!! The KC sauce is soooooo good.👏👏👏 Keep this place alive...service and atmosphere is absolutely 💯 spot on!!
We have been coming to Gilardi’s for years for birthdays, celebrations and date nights. I thought we would have to give up our favorite restaurant after learning of a gluten intolerance, but we were so happy to find out Gilardi’s has a stellar gluten free menu! The quality of their food is unmatched, and the service is amazing every time. During our most recent visit, our server Kent was extremely attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and happy to accommodate my gluten-free needs. We are so happy to have this gem in our town.
We drove 20 minutes across town to try Beef-A-Roo for the first time. My husband is gluten free, so he was excited to try their gluten free bun.
After waiting 10 minutes and spending $50 in the drive thru for our food, we drove home to eat. Should I have checked the bag before leaving, yes, but we had 2 hungry, screaming toddlers with us and just wanted to get home.
I was missing my sandwich completely and my “loaded fries” only had cheese sauce on them. They were missing the bacon pieces (I ordered without onions or ranch). My husband barely touched his burger and said the bun was dry, yet soggy from the grease.
On a positive note, the malt was delicious & my kids enjoyed their burgers and fries.
We will likely not be back.
