All pizza is prepared in flour, I asked if they could make it on tin foil and she said all surfaces are covered in flour there would be cross contamination. Disappointed. No good for true celiac allergy.
Went for dinner with a group of friends while visiting Charleston. We ordered a lot of different items - all were flavorful and paced well so we didn’t have too many plates on the table at once. The service was fantastic. The gluten free dessert was surprisingly delicious. Off street parking was a plus.
This is the best sandwich/salad/soup place downtown. It’s cheap, and so good, every single time. Carol and Megan are always so accommodating and nice. And they have gluten free!!!!!
One of the best meals I’ve ever had, not exaggerating. Huge bonus that they were able to tailor our entire meal for my allergy needs (celiac, gluten-free).
Really fun experience! The food was hot and delicious. Definitely don't come if you are a picky eater. I recommend requesting to sit by the kitchen so you are close to the action. I am gluten free and they accommodate to it! The GF pasta was cooked perfectly! Only thing I thought was the lamb was a little bland, they had a tomatoe puree to go with it, but if you don't like tomatoes then it was just a chunk of meat. Other than that if you are looking for a different experience check this place out!
Everything too to bottom was amazing. Allison was our server. She was SUPER knowledgeable on all menu items. We had two gluten free members of our party and she guided them well with ordering. The raw bar items were great. Our main courses were wonderful. We were well guided in our wine selections. Dessert was fantastic as well. 10/10 and we already want to go back!
What a great little casual spot to grab a quick bite! Fresh veggies, meat, and plenty of gluten free options—without trying to do too much. The staff were friendly and responsive and the food came quickly. The toasted banh mi with five spice pork was especially delicious on a cooler day.
First and probably last time I'll go. Sushi was decent and elote was good. But all the other Mexican food felt very off, crazy salty and all seasoned exactly the same way. I appreciated the various gluten free options, but for the price and frustration of a small place with loud music, probably not a place I'll frequent.
From the moment we walked through the door, we knew this would be something special. The intimate dining areas and nooks made me feel like I was comfortably welcomed as a guest into Ryan and Kelleanne’s home. But make no mistake— The easy, warm atmosphere was accompanied by impeccable food, wine, and cocktails including a fabulous elk chop, perfectly prepared. And the pistachio cake was truly a gift to me as my gluten and dairy allergies usually leave me with few dessert options.
The only reason I might not be back on my next trip to Charleston is because I want to try more of Ryan and Kelleanne’s restaurants!
Just picked up our take out order and I had to provide feedback. The hostess greeted me very politely and immediately went to the kitchen to check on my order. She came back to me and said I’m sorry, we don’t have any gluten free buns for the burger and offered a substitute. 9/10 times we experience the restaurant throwing a regular bun on the burger and pushing the order out without saying anything. Thank you for this level of service, it seems so small and minor but really meant a lot to me and family. Btw the food was excellent! Grouper fish tacos, (2) single burgers, nachos and queso. Thank you Fuel team!
I was here with a bachelor group and have celiac, another person in the group also did. We were accommodated exceptionally well! Our server knew exactly what to look for and even rechecked one of the meals as the distributor had changed so she subbed in a different option. I had seen a previously negative review for gluten free but and was worried but this was the best restaurant for accommodating gluten free and celiac. By far the best service I received in Charleston for accommodating celiac and gluten free
