The food was delicious, I was able to have chicken fried steak and gravy gluten free!
The waiter was very knowledgeable about their gluten free options as well as gluten allergy/ Celiac. There is not a separate gluten free menu however almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free and they have a separate prep area/ fryer. My only issue was it was kinda expensive, very yummy though!
As someone with gluten and dairy allergies, eating at the airport is something I thought I could never do. La Gloria changed that perspective for me! The waitress was super accommodating about my allergies and was super knowledgeable. Most of the menu is gluten free friendly, which is awesome! Not to mention, the food and margaritas were delicious!! Next time I’m in this airport, I’m going back!
Excellent Private Event Room & Bar Service
Recently attended a lecture and mixer; the service before and after was efficient and attentive, with no interruptions to the speaker...
Prior to the event, I had the Cream of Asparagus Soup and a drink at the bar: Service was quick, and modifications were accommodated for Gluten-Free.
Wonderful evening, thank you
Diner Music, Super Fun Menu, Excellent Service
Max and Louie’s is almost always packed; but the staff is always in a groove (maybe it’s the 50s/60s soundtrack?); the service is cheerful and efficient.
The French Toast Grilled Cheese can be made Gluten-Free, so go ahead and order; the omelettes are fantastic; but don’t forget to get a homemade hot chocolate (with real Marshmallow and Cinnamon!)
Highly recommend
One of our favorite places to go to for
American/ TX food. Love the Chicken Fried Steak. Usually get it with the gravy on the side. Burgers are great, love the onion rings, and they also have gluten-free options.
First and last time customers. We had an awful experience. We had called a head to insure they had gluten free crust available and were told they did. So went and ordered our pizzas. The manager waited until after we had ordered (listing to us order BTW) and let us sit and wait for a while with hungry young children and myself being super Pregnant... it's hard work getting young hungry children all set up when your a week away from your due date. Finally getting everything all set up and being able to sit and wait a wait for some time only for him only to come over and tell us that they don't have any gluten free crusts and that the pasta is not safe because they boil the gluten free pasta in the same pot as the regular pasta... What?!? How can you even offer gluten free pasta if you don't have a designated pot? The entire experience was pretty darn awful. I have no idea what the pint of calling a head was. We still left hungry with screaming kids. Never again...
Wonderful and comfortable Italian eatery, lots of options without being overwhelming.
Gluten free options were good and staff were knowledgeable (I'm celiac).
The service was great! The wait staff was very attentive to our family of 3, including a child. The waitress was able to give us vegan and gluten free recommendations for our family. I was so happy that they had gluten free soy sauce as most places do not. We ordered vegetarian sushi rolls, which had a mix of seaweed salad, zuchini, carrots, and asparagus. They were tasty! If you are vegan, make sure to ask for no fried veggies, as they usually have egg battered items in the vegetarian sushi. My son and husband who do not eat gf, had a noodle dish that they enjoyed. We also had cucumber salad and an avocado/cucumber roll. Those were good as well. Overall, I was satisfied with the food and the service.
Had a fantastic experience with Thai 99! We had a party of 15 needing a massive order that same night, and without any hesitation they got the food ready for us! Everything was delicious, made on time and the most important thing was allergy safe! Most of the menu items can be made gluten free. I hope the restaurant sees this and starts to advertise the fact that they are allergy friendly, it’s a big draw in the allergy community! 10/10 so so good! Thank you!
Bit of a wait to get in but well worth it. Delicious food, great drinks, and amazing service from Araceli! Plenty of gluten free options too! Especially enjoyed the Carne Adobada and the Cucumber Martini.
Wonderful and thoughtful service. Food is great, and the salsa is unique with a hint of smokey flavor.
On thoughtful service, I have a gluten allergy, and they were happy to accommodate it. They swapped out the flour tortillas for corn and cleaned the grill before preparing my meal. I told the bartender up front, and she communicated my needs to the kitchen. I was very glad with the level of service I received and the accommodations for my allergy.
One note, you need to order at the bar even if you're sitting at a table.

This restaurant will be a new staple of San Antonio, God willing!
The food is way better than what you would expect at casual place like this. Just go try it and you will see. We got:
Fresh bread with a garlic dipping oil. Amazing. The bread alone was good, but I would pay for the oil too.
House soup - I'm not sure what it was exactly, but it had veggies and chicken in a semi-thick broth. Super deep flavor.
Shrimp scampi with gluten free noodles - the shrimp was cooked perfectly and the sauce tasted fresh, light, and also very deep.
Linguini puttanesca - the noodles were perfectly al dente, the sauce was beautiful too look and delicious to eat. It wasn't too chunky but it didn't lack texture. The saltiness of the anchovy sauce was muted by the other flavors.
Also, our server Janiya was so attentive and sweet. She clearly wanted us to feel taken care of, and she did a great job.
