This restaurant will be a new staple of San Antonio, God willing!
The food is way better than what you would expect at casual place like this. Just go try it and you will see. We got:
Fresh bread with a garlic dipping oil. Amazing. The bread alone was good, but I would pay for the oil too.
House soup - I'm not sure what it was exactly, but it had veggies and chicken in a semi-thick broth. Super deep flavor.
Shrimp scampi with gluten free noodles - the shrimp was cooked perfectly and the sauce tasted fresh, light, and also very deep.
Linguini puttanesca - the noodles were perfectly al dente, the sauce was beautiful too look and delicious to eat. It wasn't too chunky but it didn't lack texture. The saltiness of the anchovy sauce was muted by the other flavors.
Also, our server Janiya was so attentive and sweet. She clearly wanted us to feel taken care of, and she did a great job.
