Great place for a quick bite in Pioneer Sq. I’m gluten free (celiac) and eat vegan and there are always looks of options (they change the menu seasonally) for me without having to make any substitutions. It’s a great spot to go with a mixed group (veg & non-veg) of friends where most people will be happy.
They also have a cute little sundries section with some grocery items and cute kitchen stuff. NOTE: While the menu is 100% GF, make sure to read the labels of the sauces in the grocery section as not all of those are (but many are).
Dawn is the most caring, attentive server that I have ever had! She had AMAZING drink and food recommendations. My friend can’t have gluten and she double checked everything with the chef and owner in such a caring way that didn’t make us feel like a burden. Every single business needs Dawn. The owner is also incredible and talked to us. Highly recommend the fish and chips and seeing Dawn!
Super friendly and responsive staff was staying at the hotel was so nice to have this option. Would love to see a few gluten-free options but this is a great place and like the hotel, the people make this place awesome.
Fantastic tapas experience. Diego was so helpful in figuring out gluten free options, and the arepas, tostones, pulpo, and wine were all phenomenal. Great atmosphere, too!
We were deciding between a hot dog and a burger, while standing at a picnic table in-front of People’s Burger. Who I assume is the owner interupt ed and said, “Not just a Burger The Best Burger.” I asked if they had Gluten Free buns. They did! So we ordered Black N Blu burgers and fries. And what a Burger!!! It REALLY was the best burger we have ever had. So good. And the fries are like Dick’s but better. This is a not be missed place.
The place was packed because it was game day. We were lucky enough to find two gentleman willing to share their large picnic table. I had to go and find a waitress to place our order, but she was great and came right over to the table. I had a burger with a gluten-free bond and it was delicious, as were the fries. I think considering how packed they were the two or three servers did a great job. I would go there again if just for the gluten-free bun!
