Sandwich shop with delicious and super varied salad options. Gluten-free options (almost all sandwiches have them) and they are careful and understanding about it. Several vegetarian options also very good. We repeated several times, great option in the area. It has a super nice terrace and the service is great.
First of all, indicate that it is constructive criticism and that I believe certain aspects can be improved.
The menu is wide and varied, but for gluten intolerant people, I think they lack attention and care for those intolerant.
Supposedly, there is a gluten-free dough pizza, I didn't see it and no one advised me, even though I remembered that I was intolerant before ordering. So, I had to order what I knew was gluten-free: Zamburiñas, to which they put toast on the same plate, I didn't understand the combination, but putting bread that contains gluten, with something that doesn't, is adding unnecessary fuss. , that the diner becomes intoxicated. I understand that it is unintentional, but for those who are intolerant, we can get sick and with a little care we can enjoy a delicious meal like any other customer.
Positive: What I tried is good and the menu is extensive. If they are a little more attentive, they may repeat it.
Excellent cuisine that, without pretensions of Michelin stars, is exquisite. Valencian paella, mixed paella, or fish paella. The paella, cooked over an orange wood fire, must be ordered as it is served promptly at the agreed time; but even the menu is the same. Complete dishes from the menu can be easily shared by two people. Excellent grilled fish.
The zarzuela is excellent and is recommended.
The mussels with leek sauce are another very interesting option on the menu, ideal for sharing.
Excellent service, with special mention for the attention to allergens (gluten and lactose). The zarzuela (gluten-free) is available upon request. Excellent value for money.
Reservations are required, especially during the high season in summer.
Everything is very good, the site is amazing. We were 3 celiacs and they gave us all the facilities in the world, we even ate gluten-free parmesan croquettes that were delicious. The rice dishes are very good.
The only problem is that there were a lot of flies... but overall everything was fine.
It is a very nice place to eat, facing the sea and very beautiful. The service of 10. We will return
Good place to eat if you are celiac (and if not too). There are a few delicious burgers, fries and something else without gluten or traces. The waiters explain everything very well and are careful with orders. Good value for money
A DISASTER! Review from 06/28/2025
The waiter should do something else and not serve the public.
From the moment we arrived, his face was so shocking... Impressive!
When we asked for something to eat (we arrived at 6:50 PM), he said the kitchen opened at 7:00 PM. We said we'd wait, it was no problem (10 minutes, who doesn't wait to eat?), his face changed...
When we asked if there was a gluten-free option, another LONG face! Unacceptable.
When he brought us our beers, they were lukewarm. Disgusting.
After 5 minutes, he came back saying the cook would arrive at 8:00 PM!!!!! and that the kitchen wouldn't open until then. IMPRESSIVE. EVERYTHING! Such a lack of attention and service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL. At 7:07 PM, we paid for the warm beer he brought us and left, but without first letting the waiter know about his terrible service. To our surprise, he told us he hadn't been able to reach the cook, so he couldn't offer us anything. A complete joke! First, he contacted us, then said no. THIS PLACE IS DISGRACEFUL.
DON'T GO! The service is terrible.
More than good experience!!! We ordered the menu of the day and it is super complete and a lot of quantity. The rice with senyoret is exquisite. They also have gluten-free bread that is delicious and they adapted the starters for us.
The service is super good and the terrace is incredible. To repeat!!!
Good food, attention and service.....
Excellent menu and many things off the menu...
And always changing "little things" and constantly evolving....
And many gluten-free options adapt to you.
Thank you for thinking about celiacs!!!!!
Today we landed in this restaurant, a quiet place, with a lot of charm, it's not cheap... but everything was delicious, the staff was very friendly and they have gluten-free bread.
Food was good. Lots of gluten free options and could change for gluten free bread if necessary.
Slightly lower score as the squid was slightly over cooked.
Atmosphere was excellent. Always lots of people there.
Small burger restaurant located on the main avenue of Benicasim.
It stands out at first glance for its lighting that is true to its name.
The burgers are quality, they rotate the menu periodically, so you don't have time to "get tired of the dishes."
One of the times we visited, a companion had certain intolerances, and there was no problem in adapting the burger (including the gluten-free bun), so we were delighted.
Totally recommended.
Good quality of burgers.
Good atmosphere in general (on one of our visits there was football on and it didn't bother us at all).
And great treatment from the staff.
We will return 😊
A very chic beach place. The Wuayu burgers were excellent, the tempura was adapted for us so that my sister who cannot eat gluten could have it (10/10 the service) and not miss the fake horchata tiramisu, amazing. I repeat that the service is excellent, close and friendly. They recommended several wines to us and we had “speak of you” what an excellent husband with the tempura. Super recommended!
This place was recommended to us, and we loved the food, especially the artichoke and the dirty cuttlefish (like in its ink). Although there wasn't much gluten-free selection, they did have gluten-friendly bread.
On the other hand, the place is very pretty inside. The waiters were friendly because of the crowd, so we had to get their attention a few times, but they were very kind.
Overall, I highly recommend it because the prices aren't cheap, but the quality is worth it.
We stayed at the hotel this weekend and went down for dinner one night. We were able to sit on the wicker sofas facing the sea and enjoy some patatas bravas, which they'd adapted to be gluten-free. We also had a couple of gin and tonics. The service was excellent and fast; everyone was lovely. We'll definitely be back, even if we're not staying there.
The site is good. But it seems incredible to me that in a place like this a person with celiac disease cannot eat potatoes since they have two fryers and they both use them for fried foods. Apart from being celiac, I am surprised that this happens and that they do not have a fryer just for potatoes. And they don't have the detail of frying them separately in a case like this.
Terrace in Benicassim town, right in the center. A street with many restaurants, a great nightlife. Good products and homemade aioli. They were a bit short on serving, for example, the individual wine glasses; we had to ask for at least half a refill. The waiter who served us was charming and quick. They have gluten-free options and bread for celiacs. The price is quite reasonable. The mussels at El Corralet are delicious, as are the grilled sardines. We'll be back.
We ordered lobster paella which was very delicious, and the gluten-free pistachio cake was spectacular. Also a burrata salad, which they did the favor of putting the sauce separately so the little one could eat it.
A nice detail that the boss accompanied our daughter for ice cream at the ice cream shop next door, because she didn't fancy the desserts on the menu.
The waiters were also very friendly.
We ate on the terrace, and although it was hot, it was bearable (August 17), although I would prefer to do it inside next time. Maybe more fans outside would help get through the hot days better.
Furthermore, I found it to be a very cozy place. Even in the bathroom you have hygiene items for women and babies, something very unusual, and which is appreciated.
