I found this place in google maps and they have a lot of options for gluten free if you are celiac or have an allergy. The waiter was very knowledgeable when he asked me if it was a preference or it was an allergy (to gluten). Which I like. At so many places they don’t really train their staff about cross contamination and this is a plus :) I ordered the gluten free avocado toast. It was good, it had poached eggs, avocado, and feta cheese I believe. Just keep in Mind that if you order for GF it’s 50 MXN extra for the bread, and the size is smaller in comparison to a regular gluten bread :(. But that’s normal and common for gf bread. We also ordered the pancakes to share. They were very good. They came with 3, with side of syrup and dulce de leche, also ordered an Americano and it tasted very good. I liked the touch of the warm milk for my coffee. Usually they give it cold in other places and the drinks turn cold faster. My bf ordered the chilaquiles, I believe they originally come with cauliflower chips but they accommodated to serve with regular corn chips. So far very good if you have food restrictions, allergies. I believe the owner was there and he was walking around greeting and asking if everything was okey. Love the service. It’s always hard to find gf food or restaurants that are accommodating or have knowledge about it, so this is a must in Tulum.

I recently dined at Layla and had an incredible experience! The food was absolutely fantastic, with options to suit every dietary need, including being Celiac friendly. The staff was wonderful, creating a welcoming atmosphere with their great service and friendly demeanor. The vibe of the restaurant was awesome, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Highly recommend!

What a spot in bacalar. Was reccomended by numerous people before. Loads of taco filling options. Good for gluten free and veggies! The burritos are quite greasy I’d recommend the tacos more. Great margaritas as well

My favorite tacos in the world! All made from blue corn so totally fine for gluten free people like me. Order the chicken tinga and chuleta. Also the pan de elote - sweet cornbread. My friend is obsessed with the caramel-y sauce that comes with it on the side (I find it too sweet with it). My vegan friend said the mole taco was the best taco she’s ever had in her life, period. The hibiscus drink is a tad too sugary for me but that’s the case everywhere on the island so I just dilute it a bit. They’re super nice here and food comes out fast! I came here three times in four days the last time I was in Cozumel. Also if you do take out, the food is actually shockingly still pretty hot as they wrap it up really well, which I appreciate.

Just go. Super great staff, incredible tacos. Gluten free and vegan options but also lots of choice for meat lovers, amazing cocktails, cozy spot. Loved it here! Had the hibiscus tacos and anchito papachito cocktail. 10/10 recommend.
