Safest place around for those of us with celiac disease. Tons of gluten free options with safety precautions in place. I eat here all the time without getting sick. Large variety of items on the menu.
Amazing service, I did not know they had gluten free items also IPA that is gluten free until server asked me questions and showed me. She is amazing and i recommend coming here. Good food and good happy hour. Half off beers bottles and cans plus wine !!! Can’t go wrong.
The staff is amazing, the bar is good. The food selection includes gluten free and is well rounded. However, the food can be hit or miss depending on who is working the kitchen. Tonight was a miss. Other nights are great!
We’d loved Mel! I eat at Gluten Free diet & I was very impressed with their GF options. The best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had! Mel recommended the Brussel sprout taco- I love Brussels but sounded weird. I tried her recommendation & it was amazing!
Love this place!! I have celiac and im always worried about getting sick eating out. Condados menu items are clearly marked and the staff is knowledge and attentive.
Food Is great you can never go wrong (but the build your own bowls are a fav)
Music and atmosphere are great
Bailey at Royal Oak is an absolute doll!!!
The food was good. Carne asada tacos had chewy meat. Their salsa is not tomato based, and you have to buy the chips. We got them with guacamole. The guacamole had big chunks of avocado which i like avocado so it didn't bother me. The bill for 3 people was $53 which wasn't bad. It was super busy because it was their second anniversary. Lots of gluten free options so we stayed to eat here.
First time visiting and brought my mom along with me. The owner and person taking our order were very helpful and friendly with suggesting their favorites. The owner asked if a separate fryer was needed for my gluten free order, and understood the need due to his wife having celiacs as well.
I felt very well taken care of, and contrary to most gluten free taco options, these were decent sized and the flavor was outstanding!! Will definitely be making more visits and bringing more people to try it out!

We stopped in for lunch while out running errands. We’d read good reviews on Google and Find Me Gluten Free. Condado lived up to the high ratings. The Lucy’s Fire and Braided & Confused tacos were amazing! We added the loaded tots to the meal which were also fantastic. Highly recommend this place! Our server, Bria, pleasantly greeted us upon entering the restaurant and was very helpful and attentive during our entire stay.
This is the best gluten-free restaurant I've been to, and I've been coming back for years.
The food is consistently delicious. The quality has never wavered. The staff is always friendly.
Love all the dietary selections - something for everyone! Gluten free available, dairy free available! Vegetarian!
The salsa is so delicious!!
The cocktails are fantastic too!
Absolutely fun and welcoming atmosphere! People are friendly and open. Family friendly, allergy conscious, super affordable, and overall great vibe. Love the local art that envelopes the walls. All staff was very accommodating and diverse. Will make this a regular stop! Gluten free nachos were so good and fed me and my teenage son with leftovers!
I enjoyed everything about this place. The options for tacos was beyond expectation. The host was very hospitable. I love the menu set up, you fill out your order at your table. Everything is marked if it is gluten or dairy free. Service was great. Price was very reasonable.
Food was excellent. My peach margaritas was just the way
I like it...tart 😊 They also have a pet friendly deck you can enjoy with your furry friend.
Adrian was our waitress and she was spectacular! I have celiac disease and it is sometimes hard to eat at restaurants. I’m impressed with Adrian’s knowledge of what I could and couldn’t eat and how to modify plates so I could eat them. She even brought me out my own chips and salsa so I didn’t have to dip in the gluten chips salsa that my friends were using.
Super appreciate a knowledgeable waitress that is kind and helpful.
Its not easy traveling with gluten intolerance. With that said, I can't wait to go back to this place. They are dedicated gluten free and absolutely amazing food. My go to when I am up north.
Food was great! Prices are so affordable and portions good. I Loved the tamales ! I got a pineapple and cheese tamale. The salsas were very flavorful. Staff very kind. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
Definitely eat here! There's several reasons why its a local favorite and you won't regret it!
The food:
What a pleasantly unexpected variety of dietary options for a Tavern! The amount of tasty Gluten Free choices available here far exceed anywhere else that I've found in Muskegon thus far! The chef has a solid handle on seasoning and flavors just to say the least. Our steaks were cooked perfectly to order (medium-rare), perfectly seasoned, and were so juicy! The sides were so delicious that they stand up on their own. My Gluten Free son swears their burgers and tacos are the best he's ever had (my heart isn't too broken since he shares sometimes lol).
The service and atmosphere:
Excellent, friendly, and efficient service is provided for sure each time we've frequented.
The atmosphere / service
It's one of those places where you feel welcomed as if you're a regular even when you're new in town! (I'm not super new to the area anymore, but even when we were) the atmosphere and service will absolutely keep you coming back.
After about a year in town my son also began working at the Tavern as his first job and I was not at all surprised to hear how exceptionally clean the back of house is kept, since everytime I had eaten there the dinning room and tables were so well maintained!
It really is a great family owed, neighborhood gathering place with great food and service! So blessed to have such a cool eatery so close by!
We are gluten-free, so we decided to try this place. Food was flavorful and they gave you a good amount. I really enjoyed the rice bowl, and the other two ppl enjoyed their tacos. The reason I am giving a 3 stars...we decided to order 2 pitchers of margaritas. We should have asked how much. We were sticker shocked to find out we got charged $92. If they weren't filled to the top with ice (also with so much ice, what a pain to pour)....and we got more than 4 drinks per pitcher, we may not have had an issue.
Best tacos in the area. They make fresh corn tortillas everyday and the meats and salsa are so good. The staff is friendly and the back patio is so cute. Plus they are great at gluten free.
Great little spot! Super nice staff. Good food. Plenty of gluten- and dairy-free options. But the cheesey af, wet burrito that my friend ordered looked really delicious 😉.
Food was delicious! They had several options for Gluten Free and vegetarian! I had the veggie burger with the pomegranate bbq sauce, my boyfriend had the trout and said it was delicious and a good value for the money. Our server was friendly and took extra steps to make sure that I could enjoy the pizza dip appetizer by bringing me an extra plate and their homemade tortilla chips! Nice vibe and outdoor space. They had chalk for the kiddos. Definitely will go back during the evening sometime.

We come here often with the family! I am gluten free and they had a whole gluten free menu!! I got a chicken sandwich and our server made sure the chicken was plain for me and the bun was gluten free, it was very good.
You have to check out this restaurant! Great gluten free options (for Celiac), many more options added since last summer. Amazing service, amazing atmosphere! Even better, they have an attached curling rink you can learn how to curl and play! Also, drink menu is phenomenal! Go check it out now!
My wife had gotten the chicken there before but was just told the last time that it can have cross contact. (She has to eat gluten free) everything else was great! Our the order was messed up, but then was made right.
I was dying waiting for TAQ to reopen for the year! So glad they finally did so I could get the iconic nachos! Our server Nash was so kind and with my friend being gluten free and vegetarian she had a lot of questions but he was super helpful with that. I'd say it's priced pretty fairly for the quality and speed of the food. I spent less than I would've thought and had a delicious high quality meal with quick service. 10/10 recommend!
Visited Bakersfield for the first time. Evan provided us with exceptional customer service. Their vegetarian and gluten free options make this a good spot for groups.
My wife and I just ate here today. Our first impression upon entering was that the vibe felt pretty cool and relaxed. The entrance appears wheelchair accessible.
Seating:
Seating was comfortable with some partial booth-like seating. Most of the seating is uncushioned wooden seats. It's mostly furnished with high tops with some wooden picnic benches. I think the wooden seating would be uncomfortable for longer conversions with friends.
Bathroom:
The men's bathroom was clean, dry, and appeared to be wheelchair accessible. It is a multi-customer restroom.
Food taste and quality:
I had a wet burrito, beef. The tortillas was undercooked, but the meat was not. It had an odd flavor to it that did not ring of Mexican food, which was what we were expecting.
My wife liked their shrimp taco. In my opinion it had a very good taste.
My wife is gluten sensitive, and in fact, she got sick within ten minutes of eating her fish taco. We were still in the restaurant when she got sick.
PROS:
Ambiance, friendliness, cleanliness, done good flavor.
CONS:
Big miss on Mexican flavors. Lack of proper attention. Illness.
Had a nice dinner with friends. The staff was terrific and food and drinks were good. They were knowledgeable about gluten free alternatives for my wife with celiac disease.
I have celiac disease and can't eat gluten, so I asked the server which appetizers were gluten-free. I know the main dishes that are, and they have new menus. She went to the kitchen, asked and wrote them down for me. One of the appetizers normally came with bread to dip, but the rest of it was GF. They took a GF bun, sliced it up, and toasted it so that we could use it for dipping. The food was delicious! I'm so happy that I can get fried porch and fries made in a dedicated fryer.
This is a phenomenal off the beaten path, authentic restaurant! Highly recommend! The staff was courteous, attentive and kind. So many gluten free, dairy free options which was wonderful! If you've never tried goat, this is the place to do it. The birria was so delicious and tender. The carne asada was cooked perfectly too. We like to eat a lot of meat, so the meat to arepa "buns" ratio was a bit in the small side too us. But other than that, a quaint and lovely dining experience!
I choose chipotle because it's a healthy gluten free option. But it's horrible. They are always out of everything. Seriously no napkins or forks. They can't even process a refund if you ordered online. They make you call a phone number. Where I am from that's stealing if you are taking money and you know you don't have the product. Also the guy that works the register, the times I have been in there is soooo rude!!! Don't order double meat, I got less than a normal serving.
Love this place for seafood. I always get the mussels. It's a little more casual than expected. It's quiet enough to have a conversation and perfect for 5 or more people. The booths are pretty large. (also good for 2 or 1 peeps). They have their own beers which is cool, and also have some gluten free options for drinks. Service is also always amazing and everyone is very kind.
As an Executive Assistant, I am always on the look-out for good catering services. Apple Spice checks every box: they are courteous, reliable & timely. Ordering from them, especially the group ordering feature, is easy. Meals are fully customizable, with vegetarian and gluten free options. Because of the unique way they package the meals, they are careful of sensitive food needs and prevent cross contamination. And to top it all off, the food is fantastic. Apple Spice is a guaranteed crowd pleaser.
Celeste was an awesome bartender/server! The food was so good and very gluten free friendly. Will definitely be back, the street corn quac was sooo yummy! Thank you!
Great Food, huge burritos, delicious. Burrito bowls
This is actually a good gluten-free option as long as you If you get the bowl.
This is my favorite location. I’ve always had a great customer service there. We get food quick. Dine in is good, If that’s what you’re looking for. It’s also always been easy for us to order to go and get out of the door. Just as quick as you can get through a drive-through.
Located in a building called “The Port. The Port isn’t well marked but it has a sign on the front. Cluck Bucket is through the doors and to the left.
I found this restaurant on the Find Me GF app. The menu is marked with which items are gluten free and the staff is small enough that they know Celiac protocols easily.
I had the nachos and a side of the creamy coleslaw, and a root beer float. My husband had the spicy chicken and pits (pits are potatoes) and a root beer float. All of it was delicious and with their open kitchen format you can watch them make your food if you sit at the bar area.
Would definitely go back!
