I visited with my family while on holiday on Airlie Beach last week. The food and drinks were delicious and the servings were generous. The staff were attentive and took great care with ensuring the meals were gluten free for my coeliac family members. The number of gluten free options is also great including on the kids menu (which is rare).
Delicious food and a whole lot of gf options! We had a pizza and pasta. The host was very knowledgeable about coeliac disease and double checked everything before it came to the table. Definitely make a trip here if you’re in Airlie Beach.
We went there 3 times in 4 days. Coffee and Matcha Latte with plant based milk, smoothie bowls (gluten-free granola upon request),
keto bowls, and smoothies with vegan protein powder. We had them all and loved them! The raw vegan and gluten-free cakes looked nice as well, but we were just too full to have a taste.
Whole staff was super nice! View is beautiful and seats are comfy.

The desserts were absolutely incredible and truly delightful! I found myself going back day after day during our visit, as I simply couldn't resist them. There is a fantastic selection available for customers with celiac disease, which I genuinely appreciated and found very accommodating.
What a great little gem to find.
We were on the cruise ship and it docked in Airlie Beach. We were looking for a decent coffee and Sidewalk Cafe was recommended on the map we were given by the hop-on hop-off bus.
When we arrived we were told that there was only 15 minutes till they closed. We were disappointed, but how good were the staff there. They suggested we sit down & look at the menu and order lunch asap. They had some great gluten free options so our decision to order was made easy.
Nothing was too much hassle even though it was right on close time.
The chicken burger was coated and gluten free. How excited was I to eat this delicacy.
The manager even made time to have a chat and we told her how great the service & food was. She is a valuable employee. (We know as we're self employed and have staff)
Recommend you visit for a great experience like we encountered. 👌
a young brunette waitress treated my coeliac grandmother like a nuisance. ended up in an argument, with her interrupting and dismissing what we had to say, not happy.
almost served us gluten-containing chips, stating that she “didn’t hear” when we said she was coeliac.
Really lovely place — simple, looks out onto the marina. Food that isn’t overpriced and yummy! Had the all-day breakfast and an iced coffee, was great all around. Friendly, smiley staff, and GREAT if you’re a coeliac like myself, as nearly everything can be made gluten-free! Also great if you’re veggie/vegan.
Fraser our wait staff was very professional and friendly, checking in on us throughout lunch. We came for a casual lunch and enjoyed a gluten free Salami Pizza and a La Tabella salad. Their house Shiraz is smooth too. Thank you guys!
A nice, relaxed, friendly breakfast/brunch/lunch place with good food and great coffee (best oat milk coffee we found). Excellent for people watching, as well🙂 Covered all diets, as far as I could see, without any stress. Vegan, gluten free, vego, meat lovers.
Beautiful breakfast this morning! Clever and delicious gluten free option, switching out their sourdough for a slice of sweet potato. Inspiring and healthy menu. Friendly owners. Thank you!
Had an amazing dinner at D'viet House KBBQ, they had no problem catering for my wife who is Coeliac (severe gluten allergy). Owner was very knowledgeable and checked in with us throughout the night.
Took 45mins to bring out a simple, very small BLT. Slow, but gluten free options and a varying menu. Maybe got them on a bad day. A cheap option within a Touristy overpriced area.

During my stay at Nomads my friend and I visited Boatys a few times. Food was lovely and the staff were helpful with my questions as I am a coeliac. At nighttime has a lovely atmosphere too. Aine was so lovely she served us breakfast twice and was super smiley! Our food was stolen from our hostel kitchen when we last came and she gave us a coffee on the house which was so sweet!

They had 3 dedicated gluten and dairy free chicken wraps! Best gluten free thing I have ever had out especially in Australia, it was full of chicken and avocado and fresh salad and the wrap held together well!
Also their nitro brew coffee was so smooth and creamy !
