It was so good to find a place that has so many Gluten Free options. The chocolate pancakes are to DIE FOR 🙌🏼 great coffee and juice too! The staff are so upbeat and friendly- Definitely worth the hour drive to get too and I will absolutely return to try more of the menu 🤩
I’ve been a regular customer for years..
I usually order the meal for myself and my little girl which is usually more than enough. This time the meal came filled with chips and some meat thrown on the top. After I brought this to their attention and asked what caused the portion of meat to drastically change into half the usual quantity, I got told ‘they weigh the meat’! A laughable answer.
On the top of that, ….
I usually get gluten free bread on the side which is an extra charge, makes total sense but to also charge me for the pita bread that’s meant to be part of the meal is shocking.
This used to be our fave place because of the consistency of the food and the service. Very disappointing to see how greedy they have become.
That is certainly my last visit.
Let me tell you….
My grandson and I were so hungry we needed a late lunch after his taekwondo lesson, we walked through Glenferrie road in Malvern and we couldn’t find any suitable cafe until Indi told me that he knew Eden Cafe!! and it was a great choice, as I love all day breakfast and he loves chicken and chips!!!! We even bought a take away gluten free salad and it is the best salad. Thank you!!!!
Lovely place with wonderful staff amd customers service. Thank you for your beautiful service and delicious food. As many vegetarian options as there are meat as well as gluten free options. Thank You 😊🙏🏻
My first time trying Grill'd and I was really happy with my burger. I ordered a "make your own chicken burger" with cos lettuce and herb mayo on a gluten free bun and it was fresh and tasted great.
Can you really call it a Margarita pizza if it doesn't have any basil?
Gluten free base was nice and tasty, everything else was pretty bland.
Service was fast and I do recommend their truffle fries.
Great food, I took the Jambalaya and thought it was great! The partner took the pasta carbonara and thought it was good. I am allergic to milk and gluten and that was no problem, there were plenty of options, even desserts that I could eat, I had a snickers bar and thought it tasted great too!
Great little cafe tucked away in a side street near Malvern Station and Glenferrie Road. Very busy at 12.30 on a Wednesday, but the constant turnover of tables means you won’t have to wait long. Coffee is excellent (I had a second), as was my toasted baguette. The cakes & pastries look amazing, much more interesting than the now all too common gluten, dairy and nut free or vegan offerings in many cafes. I know some people have allergies but am prepared to bet that many more do not. Finally, the attentive manager circulates constantly, checking that patrons are happy.
Excellent breakfast.. one of the best brunch in Melbourne , party in my mouth. The brunch really stands out. My bad, I forgot to say I needed a gluten free bread during ordering and the waitress was so thoughtful and kind and she replaced it. Will come back.. was really impressed
Delicious gluten-free pizza base, possibly the best I've ever had! I enjoyed the pumpkin-based pizza with almond feta, and the regular pizzas looked appetising as well. For the kids meal, a higher quality chicken option might help to elevate the overall value.
Let me tell you…..
We have been to Remy’s, today we brought our close friends to experience these delicious taps, cocktails and yummy food. The staff was very nice and polite, Carol our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I had plenty to choose from the extensive variety of gluten free options, thank you to Remys!!!!
Excellent gluten-free options!!!! Lamb kebabs are awesome! Halva ice cream is spectacular, presented with Turkish cotton candy on top. Even the bill is presented in a nice way.
I didn't notice the name of the girl who was taking customers' orders at the counter last night, but just want to mention that her service was absolutely 5 stars. She smiled at every customer, listened carefully to and repeated back their orders, and served each meal quickly and accurately. Myself, my wife, and our two friends really appreciated her excellent service. The food was very satisfying, except the gluten free wraps broke apart very easily, which brought the enjoyment of the meal down a little. I'm not sure if the gluten free wraps should have been slightly warmed first? In any case, we all had a great tasty dinner with excellent service. Only thing that holds us back from having Schnitz more often is the fact that everything is cooked in unhealthy canola oil (although Schnitz touts this as being healthy)
Our first visit and due to being a coeliac I corresponded with the restaurant beforehand and their customer service was top notch. 70% of their menu is gluten free and the food was lovely. They allow byo wine with a reasonable corkage fee too. The waiting staff were efficient and friendly. We will definitely be going back.
The Green Goose 🪿 is a little oasis on Station Street across from Malvern Station. Conveniently close to Glenferrie Road whilst peacefully removed. Most impressed by the range of Gluten Free
