The service was friendly and fast, and it was a cute little pub. Very clean and cute decorations. The lunch menu had very few gluten-free options. Their burgers have gluten in the patty (but this information was not available online when I checked beforehand), so I couldn't have a burger, which is usually something you can count on being gluten-free at a pub. I got the spinach with chick pea pancake. It was really good, but not very filling, especially given the price.
Food is excellent. Loved the Malagapudi Masala Dosa. Please ask for Gluten free Dosa If you want avoid flour as it used in all commercial dosas. Requested the management to indicate the same on the menu clearly. Else, the place is a South Indian delight. Been eating here everyday.
Oh do I have so much to say about this place. I payed extra money for gluten free bread and I got HALF of what my roommates got which is absolutely NUTS. I waited almost an hour for a meal that wouldn’t even suffice for a goddamn hamster. My roommates and I will never purchase anything from this place ever again (and our uber won’t either because he’s on our side too). I payed 30 bones for a sandwich literally the size of a tarot tot… not thrilled
The only place we get sushi.
Very kind family runs the business. Emphasis on quality over quantity (which, if you've only ever done "all you can eat" sushi you're in for a treat).
Prices are also very reasonable - good value overall.
They are good at making gluten free orders. I appreciate most sushi is gluten free naturally; but they take care not to mix the crispy bits of tempura or any soy sauce. I have celiac and have never been sick. They even give me a separate container of naturally gluten free Tamari with my take out instead of soy sauce. They'll also do the spicy salmon sans crispy if you ask.
Thank you Stobie’s Pizza for the delicious Gluten Free and Dairy Free Pizza I had yesterday. It’s hard to find this combo and have it taste good. Yours was yummy and flavourful! Keep up the great work!
I've read reviews about your stores and most seem great, but we were not impressed with the food at RibFest this weekend. My wife is severe Celiac and your booth was really the only place she could eat. She ordered the Sesame Chop. We're assuming that because it was a food festival the choices were limited. She asked for no wontons or toasted cashews (separate dietary issue). When she came back to our table she said it was almost $20 but I thought it was so big she'd get 2 meals out of it. Once she started eating she realized that there was maybe 1 teaspoon of shredded carrots, 2 tablespoons of edaman, 16 slices of quartered small cucumbers and 1 teaspoon of the cabbage. The entire bowl was filled to the brim with lettuce. She'd asked for minimal dressing and got a large container of it. There were 3 good sized slices of tofu, but no knife was supplied to cut it. She went back to complain about it and your staff asked if she'd like them to mix it up for her! There was no apology or offer to refund. She came back to the table, ate what toppings were there and gave the full bowl of lettuce back. You took over the Masonville shop where Freshii used to be and we were going to try you out but that definitely will not be happening after this.
No gluten-free options, despite their website saying so. Apparently they switched it up two months ago.
They do have macaroons though as gf, not great though if you're after a meal
Loved this place. Best fries I’ve had in London and the homemade burger patty was on point.
No gluten free buns yet but I was able to get mine on a lettuce wrap!
The interior was so retro and fun. Perfect for a date.
I haven't been here in years. Staff were amazing and friendly. It is a quaint spot, for intimate conversations.
The food was amazing and the waiter knew about celiac disease, where he said most dishes can be adjusted.
It was a wonderful experience and somewhere that I will be coming back again
