We arrived very hungry and were seated in the cozy courtyard of the BrennNessel restaurant. The menu offers a delicious dish for every taste and dietary requirement (including vegan and gluten-free). I wanted to eat here because I heard they had gluten-free pizza.
At least there was gluten-free pinsa (from Schär?).
Otherwise there is no service, ordering terminals like McD's, drinks and food have to be picked up at the respective counters. When you're alone with two small children, it quickly becomes very tiring.
It was only after a lot of questions that I finally got my gluten-free Pinsa. There were no gluten-free dishes to be found on the ordering terminal. Local contacts were few and far between, and there were also various language barriers.
Overall, the food was ok (although I can also put Schär's gluten-free Pinsa in the oven at home), the tables were pretty unhygienic upon closer inspection, and the service was non-existent.

The Schillergarten - located directly on the Elbe and the Blue Wonder. Always worth a visit - especially on sunny days. The food is good, home-style and generally delicious. A commercial kitchen with lots of capacity. Unfortunately, as a gluten-free eater you are quite restricted and the staff are rather ignorant about this topic and what is used in the food.
