Staff very friendly. Good selection on the menu. Had to ask about Gluten free food. Staff was very helpful. But would be better on menu well worth Visit
Four of us had a lovely brunch. Good gluten free options too.
Very busy but we got served quickly and the food didn't take long.
The shop is definitely worth a visit too.
No.3 went above and beyond for our group from NLN Navan. We had a group of additional needs students out for lunch yesterday at No. 3. They opened an hour earlier for our group to fit in with our schedule and also allowed us to pre order our lunch to accommodate our time frame which was very much appreciated by us. The candles were lighting and our group were made to feel very welcome. Food was excellent as always with special mention from the students about the brownies being the best yet! Great gluten free options on the menu too.
Overall a great experience with excellent service. Thank you so much!
We just happened to stop here and we were so glad we did! Everything was delicious and they were kind enough to ensure my food was gluten-free. From beginning to end, we enjoyed every bit! Highly recommend!
Had lunch today with my husband and a friend. My husband is gluten intolerant and they had a full gf menu with separate frier for his chips. We got our drinks real fast. My friend got the salmon and he loved it. I got the ribs with chips and coleslaw. I wasn't sure if the coleslaw was off but I think it just had more lemon in it. My husband gf burger was gorgeous apart from his bundy was just gf bread which is disappointing as you can buy gf buddies and his food was lukewarm. Not a bad price for mains and drinks and coffees.
Bay Tree lived up to the excellent reviews from fellow coeliacs. Full review at coeliacwellnes. com. They expertly explained their cross contamination practices & had an impressive menu - almost everything could be adapted to be gluten free. Tender lamb served with mash, veg and gravy; was very filling and tasty. Hope to return to try their breakfasts and desserts in the future!
Woah! A great place and would highly recommend.
Food was fantastic, gluten free options available and staff are lovely.
Only issue was a smell of the cloth which was used to clean most tables; it had that potent smell of a stale cloth that desperately needed a wash!
Omg one of the best restaurants I've ever been to ever. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were excellent. The service was outstanding and Alma was extremely friendly. Plus they have a gluten free menu. I cant wait to go back. Only one thing is the price is slightly high.
Food is amazing, portions are extremely generous, strongly advise you to go hungry you will not be disappointed, friendly fast service at amazing prices, Gluten Free completly catered for. Top spot over all.
Been here multiple times and the food is always excellent. No long waits and the staff are very nice as well. Lovely desserts and a fairly decent selection of wine.
Good size pizza is given which can be shared between two or if your a gluten like me eat a whole one yourself.
Highly recommend and I will definitely be going back here again and again
Top class gastropub. Had the family in for a communion dinner. They were so accommodating with numbers changing on the day. Starters were generously sized and good quality. Mains were well cooked and tasty. Service was excellent and prompt and they were happy to cater for our gluten free and coeliac members. Nice friendly atmosphere. Clear to see why they have won awards, we will definitely be back.
I ate here yesterday. My wife is a celiac. They have allergens listed on the menu and the waitress offered to replace the bread with a gluten free alternative. My wife had the omelette and it was tasty and she had no issues afterwards. Posting this so that other celiacs can see that this place is safe. My food was also delicious and the portions were generous.
In the 2 weeks we spent in Ireland this year, we went to one TOTAL restaurant that didn’t have an allergen list on their menu—This one. That should have been a red flag. When we finally ordered—some 30 minutes after arrival, despite the place being quite slow— there was some confusion as to whether the kitchen could offer any dishes that our party could eat with gluten and dairy allergies. The server stated she’d check in the back. Shortly after, the barman came to the table to tell us that the cook had taken ill and would need to leave, and that they would not serve our food. Our drinks were comped (which was the least they could do).
Now, imagine our surprise that the parties that came in AFTER we were told the kitchen was closed were told nothing of the sort.
I have no doubt that this pub concocted this story to refuse us service based on what should have been a simple allergy accommodation. Needless to say, I won’t be back. Nor will I recommend the place to the hundreds to which I provide Ireland tourism advice each year.
GLUTEN FREE TAKEAWAY OPTIONS.
These guys get it I can't emphasise this enough, they actually cater for coeliacs properly.
They even have gluten free buns for their gluten free burgers,
The only chipper in Drogheda where I've felt safe enough to order from,
The staff all aware of if and just ask you specify of you need gluten free options.
Please please keep up this amazing service. Great to see a business recognise a niche in the market, I'll be coming here whenever I want chipper from now on, because it's literally the only one in Drogheda I've found that has a remote idea of gluten free requirements.
While visiting Northern Ireland we stopped here on our way to Newcastle. Our waitress was very helpful in finding some gluten free options for our family. Food was good and service was just right. Would definitely eat here again
The best gluten free spice bag around. Hands down my favourite takeaway from now on. Highly recommend.
***Update*** ask for gluten free noodles and they'll make them for you, I had Singapore noodles made for me gluten free and it was delicious. Top it off with Thai yellow curry sauce and you will struggle to find a nicer dish.
For a person who is gluten intolerant who would think an italian restaurant would be a good choice. But the sea bass was delicious, cooked to perfection, the sauce so complimentary. The chicken Toscana was a little overcooked. The house wine yummy. Our waiter, Guilherme, was personable and very attentive. Even though the restaurant was busy, he made time to make us feel at home and comfortable.
We had excellent quality food here with friends for my wife’s birthday. Food was top rate. Gluten free diets within our group had also been taken care off. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone.
An excellent experience in this hidden gem! Exceptional value for authentic delicious Italian food. Staff were great gluten free pasta was available for the celiac in our party. Will definitely be back!
Super place for a Lebanese meal. They also have an extensive European menu which to be honest I didn't look at. My husband and I shared the meat meze which was amazing. I am gluten free and the staff were great at showing me what I could eat. Also their gluten free bread is so good I had to check it really was GF - apparently it's made from chickpeas. Everything was delicious but unfortunately we couldn't finish it all and as we were visiting Drogheda we couldn't take our leftovers home. Definitely recommend this 👌
