Celiac options and care! I mentioned this when booking, and when we arrived, they decided to mention it; they remembered.
The waiter also advised us on quantities and sharing options, which was very helpful. Both the grilled calamari dish and the spaghetti SG al mare are highly recommended.
It's nice to arrive somewhere and be made to feel safe!
After arriving on the isola Burano, we searched for a restaurant. What choice we made, superb staff, attentive, informative and so very focused on the customer. Food was superb. Venetian food can be a lottery especially in Venice, but I can safely say that as a coeliac, this restaurant hit all the high quality notes. It was one of the best risotto’s I / we have had.
So a full lunch with local Venetian wine and a great experience. A big thank you to the ‘maitre d’ he was welcoming and his team were equal. I think that anyone needing GF options and a great all round experience will indeed, have a great one. Thank you to the Osterio Al Museo team for our lunch and fond memories of Burano. Caio x

We found this place by chance. What a great find! Firstly, I have never eaten such tasty spaghetti vongele. Very fresh and tasted divine. Secondly, my husband had a gluten free pasta, which he says was delicious and of course so important for him to have his dietary requirements catered for. The service was so friendly and kind. I wish I lived nearer so I could come and eat here more often. Well done to all in this restaurant.
We had an incredible family lunch in the back garden. It was utterly charming and the service was excellent - even with unruly children. All of the food was great but especially the crab tagliolini. They also catered to my gluten free needs perfectly. 5 star experience all around.
Excellent bistro, especially for those with celiac disease: great attention to gluten-free dishes, with dedicated fryer and pots, avoiding contamination. The dishes are of excellent quality and well prepared. Prices a little high, but understandable given the splendid location. Highly recommended!
We arrived in Burano late, everything was closed and they offered us some dinner. Also taking into account some gluten-free option, which was good. We had a comfortable dinner. Very friendly and helpful.
