It was a perfect place for celiacs, there were lots of gluten free opions, all the menu. I could even eat gluten free tiramisu!!! Also, the workers were really nice.
Ate here because it was highly recommended on a celiac app. Was a bit disappointed that the gf pizza crust was not made from scratch. It was still good and my son loved his pasta. Great service!

Gluten-free pizza is awful. Watch out for the service, which is rude and makes you order at least 3 dishes for 4 people... Gluten-free pizza is plus 3 euros everywhere, here there is no information and they add plus 4. We asked twice if they really make the dough on site or if they have it ready "from the supermarket" - they confirmed that they make it themselves... I am attaching a photo of the bottom...

We had pizza and pasta, staff is very knowledgeable about gluten free processes and everything is made separately.

The most amazing pesto pasta I have ever tasted!!! Handmade and fresh - it certainly showed!! Every single bite was so full of rich flavor and delight. Perfect portion size - it was very filling! I usually experience unpleasant symptoms when eating gluten, but I was able to eat this without negative effects!
They also do have quite a few gluten free options. My husband got a GF pizza, which was delicious. Staff were cordial and looked like they actually enjoyed working there! Nice atmosphere inside and out. I am still missing that pasta!!
(We ate lunch here on 5/19/25)
Of the three days we went to Venice... we went 5 times!! We loved the ice cream (high quality and great variety of gluten-free flavors) and the treatment of the workers (Icco and Lisa).. in short, 10000000000/10!!! :3
Excellent food, service as well and most importantly they have gluten-free food!! The terrace is beautifully covered, ideal for a short escape from the crowds, I recommend it.
Good morning,
We made a reservation for the evening of September 28 several days in advance, specifying that we were allergic to gluten.
We showed up in the evening specifying our allergy again and the waiter told us that we could eat the whole menu and that they would accommodate. We are quite surprised.
A second waiter comes to our table, and we talk to him again about our allergy, and he tells us that no, we can't eat everything. We order the dishes with his help, trusting this server.
What a mistake... We both spent a sleepless night with severe abdominal pain. At 5:30 a.m., not sleeping because of the pain, I send an email to the restaurant explaining that we are both sick and I look for an explanation.
I've been waiting for a response for two weeks in vain... It's the least I can do to at least respond when you make people sick and apologize...
Gluten allergy is not a fad, nor a game, we had very severe pain for four days...
If you have allergies, run away...
We ate several days before in Venice restaurants "Gluten Free" displayed on the front and we tolerated everything well and it was excellent.
Favor these if you want to be sure....
Quaint, small restaurant with excellent menu options.
Gluten free required for 1 person in party of 4.
Spouse and I shared prosciutto and melon along with a prosciutto and funghi gluten free pizza.
Thin crust, excellent size.
Friends shared capers salad and shared a regular Hawaiian pizza.
White wine was Suade Sauvignon Blanc and the guys shared a bottle of Raboso del Piave.
Both wines were exceptional.
Cappuccinos followed by an orange berry liqueur digestive.
A great dinner for 4. Will go back as their pasta looks great.
Excellent in every way! Extremely friendly. Excellent gnochhi. Super meatballs and pasta that my 13 year old finished completely (he NEVER finishes a meal). Great for anyone coeliac, with gluten free pasta and pizza. My partner had gluten free penne arabiata, that was also excellent. The best tiramisu I've ever had and the 13 year old had a huge piece of delicious apple pie that he also polished off. There's a great atmosphere here as it's in a very lively square. Raffy was our main waiter and an absolute delight!
We were sat right away. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. I love that they have gluten free pasta and pizza available. Overall, a great experience!
We been here 2 people, one vegan that can't eat gluten and one who it everything.
The place is very well designed, the stuff is very nice, maybe too nice.
The food was great, very Italial, well made.
The price is high, but we felt it was fair and we knew it before.
Its a slow place with great atmosphere.
We had a great evening.
I was referred to this restaurant by a friend who had previously visited Venice. I will say that making a reservation (day of) was very easy to do online and the service was top notch. They were very accommodating to my dietary restrictions (gluten free and dairy free) and offered replacements for anything that I could not eat on the traditional menu. The back patio was very quiet and had a great ambiance. The only issue was that as soon as the sun went down, the mosquitoes came out in full force. I realize this is not their fault and they were very good about providing big spray to our table, but the mosquitoes were actually an extreme deterrent. We almost asked to move inside.
The biggest reason for the 3-star rating is that he food was surprisingly bland. We ordered two appetizers, the tuna and the spider crab. The crab was tasty, but the tuna lacked flavor. For our first course, I ordered the pasta with scallops and mushrooms (very good!) and my friend ordered the zucchini flower pasta with prawns (extremely bland except for the prawns). For our second course, we ordered the fish of the day (sea bream). It was a well-cooked fish, but there was very little flavor or seasoning on it and the root vegetables were under-seasoned as well.
For a Michelin Star rated restaurant, and one with a hefty bill at the end of the night, it was not worth it in my opinion. There are far more places in Venice with $15 pasta dishes that were larger, more filling, and much better.
Sadly to say, I would pass on going back to this restaurant, even though the vibes and staff were great.
The lasagna had overcooked pasta sheets, tasted like gluten, and the seafood spaghetti looked good, but on top, there were only empty shells, with much less actual seafood inside the spaghetti.
