I'm Coeliac so rarely get the chance for gluten free fish & and chips, so I was disappointed that they didn't have any GF batter left today. They offered to grill some fish for me which didn't appeal but then offered gluten free fishcakes which I was told were popular with their GF customers, so I had that and they were lovely. The portion was very generous and I couldn't finish it.
They also have GF cones, so, later in my visit to Andstuther, I had an ice cream cornet. Made the trip worthwhile.
We ate two meals here and the food and service were superb! The staff went above and beyond to make sure that my husband, who requires gluten-free food was well taken care of. The fish and chips were excellent and my husband said that he couldn’t believe the batter for his fish was gluten free. It was excellent. I highly recommend this lovely establishment!
We came way too late for us to sit in the restaurant but we had a take out and man! Since I am on gluten and lactose free diet I just dreamt of fish and chips and this was like heaven! Really reccomend this wee place in this wee town, loved it and hopefully I will visit again!

Coffe was lovely, cakes were divine and most of them were Gluten Free, which is great!
Shop sold loads of nice things, could easily have brought the whole shop up.

Best fish in chips I’ve had since I’ve been in Scotland these past two weeks. And mom was able to get the gluten free fish and chips - equally delicious (And I wasn’t going to order the fish and chips because I was so over it, but very glad I did)!
A great meal with friends. I had the mussels (chorizo added in sauce) and the 1/2 lobster with chips. I really enjoyed mine, I could have missed the chorizo and I guess for pescatarian that’s a no no. The lobster was very good and local. The chips I had superb. Others had the mackerel (freshly caught) all full of praise. My parter had crème brule which was “excellent”. Service was excellent, very helpful on gluten free and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
