I hired Box Kitchen Pizza for my 50th party and they were fantastic! They kept up a steady supply of 4 different pizzas for my guests and the feedback was incredibly positive for everyone. Rob went out of his way to accommodate everyone's needs, including some gluten-free and vegan pizzas aswell. Highly recommended!!!

A lovely restaurant, knowledgeable and friendly staff and delicious food. 2 of our group had allergies (coeliac disease, nut and citrus allergy) the staff were clearly knowledgeable about the food and understood our needs, checking if they were not 100% sure. They were prompt with ordering, but left us alone once we'd been served to chat and enjoy our meal. The Bluelight discount is a great treat too! I will definitely be going back.
Thoughtfully crafted gluten-free pizzas stand out in this charming venue set within a renovated historic mill, where original wooden timbers and mill machinery create a unique ambiance. The attentive staff's thorough approach to dietary needs ensures a confident and enjoyable dining experience, complemented by the tranquil riverside beer garden and terrace that enhance the meal with peaceful water views.

Top-quality dining experience, and serviceable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed over night here and used the restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
The restaurant is definitely something to be praised. Excellent, friendly, attentive wait staff, and properly gorgeous food.
If you’re coeliac/gluten-free, I can recommend the gluten-free pizzas, which feel as though they have actual effort invested in them, rather than being provided as a reluctant afterthought.
Our stay in the hotel was fine. The rooms are situated in a renovated mill building, which provides a gorgeous setting with a lot of historical appeal. At 6’4”, I reliably banged my head on every single doorframe in the building, though that’s perhaps more a reflection on my inability to learn than anything else.
The slope in some of the rooms is a little unsettling. I’m aware that this is often the case with older buildings, and there may have been a reason for this in a mill, but after a bottle of wine in the restaurant, I had an interesting time trying to get around the bathroom and bedroom.
Possibly not the case for all the rooms, but the bed in ours was positioned such that it felt as though it was sloping down at the headboard end, which was actually rather uncomfortable.
The staff who checked us in and out were most friendly and professional, however, so a big thanks to them.
Overall, a great dining experience, and a perfectly fine hotel, sloping floors and borderline concussion aside.
This inviting spot is a haven for those seeking gluten-free dining without compromise, offering a wide range of freshly cooked gluten-free and vegan options that cater seamlessly to dietary needs. The informal atmosphere and delightful outside courtyard create a welcoming setting where groups can enjoy standout dishes like the Edinburgh breakfast and exquisite lemon drizzle cake, all prepared with care to ensure a delicious and inclusive experience.

This intimate dining spot excels in catering to gluten-free diners with freshly made gluten-free alternatives, including the rare treat of a fresh warm gluten-free bread roll. The thoughtful, ever-changing menu ensures each course, like the standout Elderflower Hollandaise, is both beautifully presented and delicious, all within a relaxed, low-key atmosphere that enhances the unique culinary experience.

Lovely evening at Wilder. I had the wine pairings, and my mum had the non alcoholic pairings with the taster menu.
The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I am coeliacs and they made sure I was provided with alternatives to their gluten based items that were clearly freshly made onsite (very rare to have a fresh warm bread role as someone who cannot eat gluten).
We particularly enjoyed the Canapés and Bread. I have to give a special mention to the Elderflower Hollandaise which accompanies one of the courses (as the menu is a lovely surprise I won't be posting any spoilers here), one of the best hollandaise sauces I've ever had.
We will definitely be back, im eyeing up the Champaigne Brunch as we speak...🍾
