Me and my fiancé love Homegrown! They have gluten free pancakes that are delicious and I love that the syrup isn't overly sweet. He is happy with the omelettes and potatoes. As of today, Erica is our favorite server in the restaurant. She was very attentive when we brought my mother in law and she can be hard to please! Generally speaking though, the staff is fairly attentive other than the hosts that don't help to bus tables and get people seated. They give cream in little ramekins and not in plastic single use packets which we like. Water also isn't served with ice which we also like. The only feedback we have to improve is to make sure the open kitchen area (mainly near the juicer) stays clean (sometimes plates are left out), maybe share tips so the hosts are more inspired to bus tables, and please change the bathroom lighting so we don't age 10 years in there!! Thanks Homegrown!
You will not be disappointed.
I am in LOVE with Black Apple. I enjoy their outside seating area and they keep adding features to make it comfortable and enjoyable year round. Loving the seasonal flavors and I LOVE seeing our local restaurants carrying their flavors. As a gluten sensitive person and not able to drink beer, Black Apple has been my perfect go-to drink that isn't water.
Recently we bought a couple of growlers to take with us to the Firework show and we also buy them for the holidays like Christmas. Seriously, Black Apple is amazing.
We absolutely loved it here! Best burger with house made pickles and mayo, grassfed beef and local ingredients. I got a gluten free bun and it was very good! Very soft, not dry at all. We loved the tallow fries! The waitress was so sweet and friendly. We loved the fresh milk too! We will love to come back!
I cannot recommend this place enough. I’ve grown up eating arepas and empanadas with our friends from Venezuela and this was INCREDIBLE. Very kind service as well! Many many gluten free options with their arepas and empanadas. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be coming back!
When our newly engaged couple wondered about arranging a cake, Mom came out to Arkansas from Arizona to help with arrangements. We searched online for a small, local bakery and found Shelby Lynn. We went to the store to make the arrangement and were amazed at the dedication, creativity and professionalism shown by Shelby Lynn. She asked pertinent questions about the engaged couple's wants, needs and background. Our couple had gotten engaged during the total eclipse, so Shelby Lynn sketched a concept based on that story. This bakery makes every aspect of the cake, right down to filling, from scratch, in house. Every cake type we tasted was phenomenal! Ultimately we chose a layer cake with carrot, white, and chocolate. The filling on the white cake was lemon-raspberry (i.e. "hummingbird") and Oreo filling on the chocolate cake. She even provided a gluten free cake because we had several gluten intolerant guests.
Then, to make things even better, they delivered the cake, safe and sound, in one piece, to the ONSC, and you know that is one long, bumpy road. The delivery person was delightful and helpful, and Shelby-Lynn even loaned us a cake plate! It was a flawless experience!
Simplicity in it's most delicious form. The food here is traditional Thai, owned and operated by an alarmingly fantastic mother and daughter duo. I am vegetarian and gluten free, the menu here is perfect for both! Came here for my daughter's birthday and received a free appetizer! The owners go above and beyond to inform you about their menu, make you feel welcome, and to deliver beautiful and nourishing food to your table. A must try for anyone that loves really great food, lovely people, and a calm, warm atmosphere.
First time visiting. Highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar as the chefs are fun and entertaining. They tried really hard to make Gluten free rolls for my wife, but most of their sauces have gluten.
I only dinged them one star as she had very limited choices. The rolls were very visually attractive. Portions were good. Prices were reasonable.
Pretty good Italian food, the owner is actually from Italy. Their bread is homemade and really amazing. I could tell the my chicken had been cooked in the same pan as some salmon, so be aware you might have to ask for ingredients to be cooked in separate pans if you have an allergy or gluten sensitivity.
I cannot say enough good things about Susan's Restaurant. We have been visiting for more years than I can count. What is amazing is that I see the same servers and cooks from 20 years ago-to have that loyal of a staff is amazing! Food, staff, atmosphere, and professionalism is A+. It all comes down to their staff and owner who expect you to leave full and satisfied. Thank you Susan's for feeding your community all of these years. and please keep it going. And we so appreciate the gluten free items.
