Easy to see why this place has such great reviews. The food is incredible, super flavorful and well executed. Lots of gluten free and vegan options and very allergen friendly labels on menu.
Nice In-N-Out location
Allergy notes
If gluten free (gf) you can get the burgers protein style, no bun. They do not have gluten free buns. The fries are safe for gluten free though. They are made onsite from real potatoes, and it's a dedicated fryer just for fries.
If mustard allergy be careful of animal style and some of the sauces.
Our daughter has a severe gluten allergy and they did amazing job preparing the food separately so that there was no cross contamination with the other food. A special thank you to (True) and the entire crew for making it all happen. You are amazing, thank you!!!
Cafeteria quality experience at best. My husband and I came here on a Monday morning. I heard they had lots of gluten free options and it was yummy. The staff is a bunch of young kids that have very minimal customer service skills. I don’t think we got so much as a smile from the server the whole time. The patio was noisy with screaming kids, barking dogs, and then a lovely Sysco semi truck pulled up (unfortunately after we’d already ordered). The truck driver set the deafening air breaks and left it running feet from the open patio the whole time he unloaded. Overpriced Sysco cafeteria food with teeny tiny portions that left us still hungry. The food took a long time to arrive and was cold. The server never brought the bacon I ordered. They weren’t even that busy. Terrible experience all the way around. We’ll stick to our favorite spot, Jack’s.
My sweet mama-in-love and I love to come here for a quiet early week dinner. Sitting at the bar is so comfortable. The lighting and decor feels so uptown. Ocean view...lovely atmosphere. We had the prosciutto and melon, Cesar salad and Gluten reduced pasta with sea food. SO good.
The crew in the open kitchen deciding to douse the place in some kind of cleaning chemicals almost ruined this visit. I asked the server to please ask them to stop immediately so that we could finish our meal. It was Monday around 8p. Other than this...I highly recommend this restaurant. They appear to have worked out the new restaurant kinks. Its not inexpensive but nothing is anymore.
Went out for a late lunch with my friend and she picked WR Kitchen & Bar. All though i’ve heard of this place many times, i never stopped by before. I was pleasantly surprised to see vegan, gluten free, & vegetarian options. I ordered the cauliflower tacos (Vegetarian), and they were delicious! 9/10! I’m honestly craving them right now! My friend ordered the Crispy chicken sandwich, which i took a bite out of, and the chicken was amazing. It was so crunchy and tasty! 7/10! The tacos had so much flavor and you honestly couldn’t tell there was no meat, we were also given some garlic knots which i’d rate a 3/10. They smelled super good but tasted pretty bland, but if you dipped them in ranch or pico de gallo, they were super yummy! Lastly the mac n cheese was a 2/10, it was also a bit bland and more watery than a thick cheese consistency that you’d like to see in mac n cheese. The taste was a bit overpowering as it was one cheese taste, and for some reason it tasted a bit like blue cheese. I didn’t like it but my friend ended up eating some of it she would probably rate it a 3-4/10 as well. But overall the food was amazing, the service was great we were constantly checked on, and those tacos were chefs kiss! There a must have, even as an appetizer Overall i’d rate my experience a 7/10!
$35 breakfast wasn't worth it today. We did feel only the Hawaiian treat (Spam, Egg and Rice) was worth the $ 5 as it really reminds us of Hawaii. My daughter needs to have gluten-free pancakes, and they came out undercooked today. Don't know if it was because she added the chocolate chips (not worth paying $1.99 to add since you only get very few). The other issue was my BLTA had two very thin small sliced bacon strips. The only thing that made the BLTA was the Hawaiian bread. Hot off the Grill and Teds place nearby make better BLTs for your $. We just felt the price we paid and for the quality we got was disappointing. We use to like the sister locations Stacks in south Mission Viejo. The lack of indoor seating stopped us from going there.
Fresh food every time. Staff is friendly. I have Celiac and all I have to do is tell them I have a gluten allergy and they change gloves, wash their hands, follow me down the whole line and get ingredients from under the counter. I have never had a reaction from this restaurant. A+ in my book!!
We absolutely love having breakfast here. Everyone is so friendly and the food is as fresh as it can be. Dining in or out, the service is just right, and it's so nice to have the owners check in and share their joy, and happily hear suggestions.
They even have gluten-free English muffins.
I was new to the store and the sweet girl explained all of the options clearly, including all of the gluten free items (as well as mentioning the few toppings that were not dairy free.) I don’t love sweet things so I was hesitant to try the bowls but I can’t wait to go back. I’m hooked!
Alvin and the team were incredible! Wonderful host and had a lovely chat with him and my dad. The food- chicken tikka masala, chicken madras, and pakoras- were sooo delicious!!! Pakoras are gluten free! Their menu has several gluten free options, which made ordering very easy as my dad is a celiac. I also recommend the rice pudding & mango pudding for dessert!!! Alvin deserves 10 stars!!! Will be coming back for sure!
