This is one of my favorite Thai places to go to. The food is absolutely delicious and fairly priced. They are also really great at allergy accommodations with lots of gluten free options. We order the Tom Ka Gai, Pad Thai, Panang Curry and mango sticky rice. The portions were large and our total was only about $60. Our amazing waiter Warren is just a gem of a person! We completely made our experience! Very attentive, funny, handsome 👀, welcoming and made fantastic suggestions for the menu. Honestly the restaurant probably makes more money because of him. This place was amazing. My grandson just became gluten free and this place serves gluten free waffles and pancakes which he loves and really no other local restaurants. Make gluten free anything. But they are also vegan and they serve regular food as well. The service was great the waitress was very helpful went above and beyond and schooled us on the portions of the entries. The atmosphere was great. They only serve breakfast and brunch and it gets crowded so get there early they open at 8am and are located in Whittier CA Highly recommend

I came across this spot thanks to a friend who recommended it when I needed to use the restroom. It was so nice that I decided to stay for dinner before heading home—and I’m so glad I did!
As a vegan, finding satisfying meals can be challenging, but the California Grill and Bar did not disappoint. The lovely hostess seated me right away, and within minutes, Andres, my waiter, arrived. He was kind and incredibly accommodating to all my dietary restrictions.
The restaurant offers both an Impossible Burger and a Gardein Burger, but I decided to go for a veggie wrap. Unfortunately, they were out of gluten-free wraps, but Andres recommended a lettuce wrap instead, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! The wrap was so big that I ended up unwrapping it and enjoying it with a fork and knife. The ingredients were incredibly fresh—the carrots were shaved thin, the tomatoes were thick and juicy, the red onions had the perfect crunch, and the sprouts were just right. The lettuce was fresh and had a satisfying snap to it, and the avocado was buttery smooth. I requested balsamic dressing on top, and it was so vibrant and flavorful that I found myself literally dancing in my booth!
The fries were also a highlight—perfectly crispy and fried in vegetable oil. To complete the meal, I ordered a strawberry lemonade, which was so delicious that I asked for a refill.

Really good food. I’m a Whittier native and I like how they have healthy food here because I’m diabetic. I didn’t know about this place and was looking for something healthy and it popped up on my google maps. The owner/manger spoke to me when I asked him questions about the gluten free/sugar free brownies they had for dessert and he was telling me how most of their food is diabetic friendly and gluten free. For lunch I had The Benjamin sandwich which is salmon with cream cheese on it. It was really good.

Joar, Shaun, Arleo, and Melody are the absolute best bartenders (and servers). They constantly are very attentive and kind. The drinks are amazing because they have a ton of options from homemade root beer and they even have 6 different sober cocktails. Some are even related to the monthly specials which is super rare to see anywhere! I don't like the taste of alcohol but the things they are able to come up with are nothing short of incredible thanks to Arleo (the bar director) :)! Everyone is super nice and the food is incredibly good too. The brunch was magnificent so keep an eye out if they decide to bring that back. The chicken tenders and beef sashimi are my favorite and they are both gluten free ^_^!!! The charcuterie board is huge and beautifully priced. It even comes with a beef fat candle that is edible!

We started with Pachamama Tea and hard kombucha. From there we had carrot soup and menudo. This is where the photos stopped because we dug right in.
I was feeling like some real comfort food and had a fried “chicken’” sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. It hit the spot but the real star of the show was the gluten free chimichurri ravioli with fried oyster mushrooms. Wow, I have never had anything like it.
