UPDATE YOUR MENU TO ACCURATELY REFLECT ALLERGENS
If an item is marked GF on your menu (not GFO) it should not contain gluten. I inquired about the flavor of the mole enchiladas marked as gf on the menu. The cashier graciously offered to taste the sauce which was much appreciated. When I went to order it, I confirmed it was gf. Cashier told me the mole sauce I just tasted was recently changed to contain gluten. I’m pretty ticked off the menu was not updated. This is not the cashier's fault, but management should take this more seriously. Very frustrating and not the first time I've had a gluten issue here. On 2 prior occasions I ordered gf corn tortillas with the huevos and was given flour. Laxness around allergens has steered me away from future visits.
We are new to White Pie. It was a delicious surprise. The New Haven style, wood fired pizza is superb and the menu offers all home made, hand crafted fresh food. The salads are a meal for one or two or the larger size is enough for a group to share. There are vegetarian and gluten free options and items can be altered slightly to become vegan. The staff are excellent and attentive, The large open room seems as though it should be loud yet it has a comfortable blend of music and conversation is easy. There is a lovely out door open patio as well. Nice for a date, family meal or solo delight.
This restaurant is an absolute gem. The food is delish. The people who run it are so kind. Also, for all the gluten free peeps, including those with celiac, you can safely eat here too! They will even make dishes marked as having gluten in a gluten free way!
Anytime I'm in the neighborhood, I try to swing by. Their espresso drinks are always delicious. As someone with dietary restrictions, I really appreciate being able to order a breakfast sandwich that is gluten-free (not celiac safe due to cross contamination) and dairy free ❤️. The staff is always friendly and upbeat; greeting you and acknowledging a wait time or whatever the circumstances are so as to set a proper expectation. It's solid hospitality - not something you find everywhere anymore. Keep up the good work!
Love dos santos! Amazing nachos and margarita flights!! Service is excellent and accommodating. They were knowledgeable about the menu with gluten free and dairy free items
The Crypt has great bartenders, atmosphere, vendor markets, and music, but most importantly for celiacs like myself, they have a dedicated gluten-free frier! They take food allergies seriously and while other restaurants serve GF options, The Crypt is actually celiac-safe. Thank you for being one of few places where I can safely eat French fries. 💀🍟⚰️
Doppio Coffee has a variety of drink and menu options.
There are some gluten-free pastries available.
The baristas were friendly. The shop was clean, bright, and nice. My mocha tasted pretty decent.
Street parking was taken. I parked in a lot that was $5/hr. The door to the coffee shop said 2-hour free parking. I had already parked but wondered whether that included the 2-hour space where I had parked.
I like that the coffee shop is family-owned.
Bowls were so fresh, and service was kind. For the amount of toppings you get, the price is super reasonable. They have preset options that look amazing, but we choose to build our own. Gluten free options are clearly marked. Only one guy working, but everything still came out quick.
Just found this place and it is amazing! The food had our eyes rolling, and the owner is super friendly. They have gluten free options available too in case you're partner has Celiac disease ;)
